How was your day?

I've been doing a computing course or IT practioning as they call it , yeah right, most of it is written rather than hands on like they told us.

 

I'm putting the effort in obviously, my two iva's were set as passes which would get me 4 points each, but now I have 16 because I got merits in them both

 

There's not much left for me to do, odd bits and bobs on assignments, there's only two more assignments I'm really worried about.

Am I too late in joining the "me too" awesomes? I did a Nat Dip in IT practitioners. It was fun mostly for the complete lack of work I did until the last week of term And i picked up a DMM from it ^^

 

I went on to do the HNC in computing and managed to survive almost til the end of the 2nd year. It is dire. 61 slides on team goals and project management. I think not! (And that was only given on one of the classes)

 

It made it unbearable because one of the tutors I knew well had died towards the end of my first year of the HNC. :/

In relation to the top half of this page:

 

10 is easily the worst Final Fantasy. Well at least until 13 comes out.

 

Face it - you all hate 12 because it doesn't have a sappy love story as one of the overriding themes of the game.

 

I can't really claim which Final Fantasy is the best considering I haven't even played the first 6 games of the series but out of the ones I have played IX was easily my favourite.

 

No I don't like it because the world is boring. Just endless amounts of desert.

 

And the battle system is rubbish. They've tried to make it like MMORPGs and it's turned out crap. If they wanted to take away from the turn based battles then they should have made it like kingdom hearts or something.

Epic Day today went to Thorpe Park with 3 friends, absolutely awesome, so many laughs. Only thing is the place closes early (5pm, WTF) and it took us a while to get there on the train which cost an arm and a leg. Thank god for Walkers half price brit trip tokens.

God I hate my college with a passion.

 

I was in all last week because I was told that we had to be in for timetable, now I find out that we now have to be in this week until the 23rd june because it wasnt last week it's this week, guess when the tutor decided to send the email out to remind us..10am this morning!

 

Clever wanker...-.- it's a bloody good job the funeral is tomorrow my ''day off'' and not the rest of the week. I'm going to have to make sure I do everything this week and early next week as there's no chance in hell I'm going in for my birthday next thursday. It's pathetic.

 

Oh and instead of making our assignments a priority, so we can get our grades up, oh no don't be daft, we have to sort out two other documents, ones a portfolio! I needed a portfolio when I wanted to get into uni, you utterly useless fucks. Not in the middle of summer...pathetic college, utterly pathetic.

Swang by uni and picked up some mail. (and when I got home I had emails saying "you're assignments are now ready to pick up" >_<)

 

Went to docs for my hep b shot (which I should have got last year for the trip to america I never took) and they took two tubes of blood and said "we'll text you the results in two weeks" and as hep b is immunisation I think they're testing me for STDs as well. Ah well. Always useful no?

 

Bumped into a friend and spent the afternoon with her. Also got quite burned. Damn sun! Going to avoid it for most of tomorrow but I start work tomorrow which involves wearing black and being outside >_<

As much as I enjoy the level design of Kingdom Hearts the battle system has about as much depth as a kids swimming pool.

 

Oddly enough mashing the X button throughout a game isn't that much fun.

 

While Gambits did remove the fun of battles the License Board more than compensated for the failures of Final Fantasy IX and X by offering you the freedom to form your party members into any class you wanted them to be.

 

Still I prefer endless amounts of desert over endless amounts of whining.

My day started bad with all the trains being messed up due to points failure! Gahh all you need on a monday morning is stress trying to get to work.

 

Plus it was so nice out today, not a day for going to the office, a day for sitting in a park.

 

Anyway I got home from the work around 6:30pm and hit the gym and wore myself out and im now all ready to collapse in bed.

Doing the rest of a unit 4 business paper, memorizing ratios for the exam for business, then doing a unit 5 paper and reading the commments from my teachers (got an A in my last Unit 5 after i took the comments into account!)

Decided enough is enough and im not going to use my car to go to work anymore. I wont pay 112.9p p/l at the cheapest so thats it, i will be catching the bus from Warsop to Mansfield bus station (6-7 Miles) and then walking the 1.3 miles from the bus station to my work.

 

That means il be walking 2.6 mile a day 5 days a week which serves a dual purpose of helping me lose weight and save money ^^
