I'm getting really annoyed with my bank.

GAME emailed me saying my bank has refused to authorise payment for Galaxy 2, so my order was cancelled/refused. This is the second time this has happened now, first time was with Forgotten Sands. I re-do the order and it works the second time round. Seriously annoying me this.

Been a non-productive day so far. Basically dropped Jim off in Brussels and since I got home I cleaned my room a bit and watched the thunderstorm/rain. Now back to work, as my time is running ouuuuuuuut. *Muse song plays*

Think I'm gonna start up an Etsy shop at some point to sell art/prints/cards. No idea yet what I will make and sell there, or how stuff like shipping will even work, but I just really need the money heh. =P

Shopto is cheaper, and if you don't get it by launch you get £3. = Win tip.

Ahhh jesus. One more early morning six-hour shift tomorrow and then short mid-afternoon fixtures for the rest of the week. I don't mind the early morning shifts but they do leave one feeling awful worn. Now if you'll excuse me... *flops limply away*

Aye, but it was my banks fault as to why the payment failed. I have spoke to GAME and that is what they told me.

if its not happening all of the time it probably would be your bank that's at fault. Sometimes they lock your card if there's what they determine "fraudulent activity" or if you are in arrears.

UPDATE:

Shooting down end of my road apparently.

Police have cordoned off end of my street. Thats about all I know. Tried to walk to girlfriend's house, not allowed :( Its the other side and they were just being silly really. She is at home, we just wanted to be nosey and see if her housemates knew anything more.

Reading, no longer safe!

Flameboy said exactly the same thing happened to him. The plot thickens?

It is the second time it has occured, the first being with my Prince of Persia order. I'll see if it happens a 3rd time, and if so i will be having words with my bank, strong words if needed to be.

Ooooh, so I saw! All the bad stuff seems to be happening in East Reading lately and it's gradually getting closer to where I live :o

Got a call from this home learning computer game courses this morning. Another potential employment opportunity that I've forgotten all about. But they're sending someone round for a home interview on Wednesday... I haven't got a clue how I'm going to handle it.

Anyone had this before, any tips?

One my good friends (the third member of the Paj-Chair-trotterp trion) finished uni the other day so we met up last night.

Marvel Nemsis: Rise of the Imperfects - Our favourite game.

Too many jokes. Went into town to get a drink, only to have everywhere be closed, and then me be refused entry because I wore shorts and flip-flops. I hate dress codes these days. Just let me give you money to go into your shite establishment and be happy about it. People would enjoy their night more if they saw some tramp with pink hair shuffle in with flip-flops and shorts on. They'd love it.

So got chips then walked home, but the walk is so short if you try hard enough. Played more Marvel Nemii.

Home interview?

Well tidiness is important - mainly the lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Make sure there's a kettle and some mugs ready.

You'll need to have a table to sit at. A kitchen/dining room one would be fine, but I would guess that a coffee table in the lounge with a chair(s) and/or sofa(s) at a 90 degree angle to each other would be ideal (if it's possible).

Oh, and make sure that everyone else is out.

Note: These are just tips based on what I would expect an employer to like to see. We work we have a two-sofa/coffee table set up in a room just for meetings and stuff. It's formal but not too formal.

Cancel it.

They don't even have offices and it'll be 9 months before they go into liquidation.

I think they do have offices, they were just spouting bullshit about since it's a home learning course they want to harass you at the source.

That's the weird thing too, they wanted to try and make it at a time when both my parents would be there :s

This is sounding more and more dangerous.

They want to extract his sauce???

Well they didn't say that, basically they have no offices because it's home learning.

But I do feel the concern.

Cancel it. Fuck them and their privacy-invading!

- Ingested far too much caffiene

- sitting very still to counter the mad-beating heart!

- Spent the best part of the last 6 hours of my day watching awesome videos on ted.com

- Should probably cook dinner.

- Yeah I'll go do that now

- Then Kenny Vs. Spenny season 6!

Paj did I say congrats for the driving theory test thing? I meant to. I felt it in my head before I ever met you.

Applied for (another) job at uni, summer one this time. They emailed on Weds asking a few things and asked if I'm available for an interview tomorrow but then never offered me an interview. Cunts, dangling that in front of my face.

Do have an interview for a phone repair place on Thursday though.

And I had my McDonalds induction yesterday. Most of them were kids. Urgh. And one had a really disgusting Yam Yam accent. Thankfully she's working at another branch. Ideally I could get another full time job and then take this down to part time and do somewhere in the region of 60 hours a week.

Oh and went to the new Best Buy (which surprisingly opened to little fanfare, didn't even know it was opening). It brings out the Chuck nerd in me ^_^ (bastards should have given me a job!)

New sig that both excites me and annoys me. 44 days sounds like so long away!
