Caris Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Look in the sky. http://news.uk.msn.com/shooting_stars.aspx Should be awsome.
Hero-of-Time Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 If I dont see Bruce Willis planting a nuke on at least 1 of them I aint gonna be happy!
Konfucius Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Stared a whole hour up into the night sky and was rewarded with the sight of 6 shooting stars. Although they're gone as quickly as they appear it was still awesome.
UK Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Look in the sky. http://news.uk.msn.com/shooting_stars.aspx Should be awsome. Thanks, dude, should be great.
Caris Posted August 12, 2007 Author Posted August 12, 2007 North East sky isn't it? Perseids or summat? Yeah, i live in Newcastle and can see the sea from my bedroom so i'm quite excited
conzer16 Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 I live near the sea also, so hopefully it will be a clear night. Cloud cover is a bollocks when trying to look at these type of things.
gaggle64 Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 No hope here: just solid grey across the whole horizon.
Happenstance Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 It was a shame as I only heard about it this morning and last night was supposed to be a much clearer night.
Eddage Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Nothing but clear skies were I am, hopefully that'll remain the same throughout the night then!
Maikeru Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Ah brilliant. Just sorted out a thing with a few mates, late night field sitting. Better work out were the northeast is from that location..
Jimbob Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 I shall be keeping my eyes peeled tonight, should be a clear night as well unlike last night.
mariosmentor Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Clouds around here seem to come and go, for awhile it was really gray but now it's quite clear. Not even too sure if you can see this clearly up in Scotland.
Slaggis Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 There's not one cloud in the sky where I am (north east). Yay What sort of time will it start?
ReZourceman Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 What time? I so bet I wont be able to see anything.
Caris Posted August 12, 2007 Author Posted August 12, 2007 There's not one cloud in the sky where I am (north east). Yay What sort of time will it start? Where about in the North East do you live? I haven't seen any yet
Slaggis Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Where about in the North East do you live? I haven't seen any yet Near York, just off the North York Moors
Mikey Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Not completely dark here yet. Some clouds in the sky, nothing too major. I won't see anything at this rate though.
Charlie Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Heh, it's always cloudy whenever something like this happens. [/pessimist]
Caris Posted August 12, 2007 Author Posted August 12, 2007 Ahh, everytime i turn my head it's even darker. Freaky. SHIT! I can see one, its massive.
