What's on the menu?

Well I suppose people could share Smoothie recipes to health it up a bit.

I don't have a specific recipe, I just thought I'd mention that it's a good idea to use frozen fruit for smoothies as it's cheaper to buy, holds the fruits' nutrients better, and also means that there's no need to pour over ice as the smoothie will already be cold.

That's probably stating the obvious, but I'm not exactly a culinary expert. I tend to just throw things together and hope for the best.

Grab yourself a pita-bread, dampen it oh so slightly, smear a layer of your favourite pasta sauce on the top, layer thick with grated cheese, throw some chopped spring onions on there, or some ham or goats cheese or whatever you want, bang in the oven for about 10 minutes, then consume. Delicious home-made mini-pizza FTW.

I used to make pretty good scones and awesome biscuits with the help of my Teletubbies pastry cutter. I used to have a Tots TV pastry cutter, but I only used it to cut out bits of bread. I tried cooking a few months back but the cakes came out like biscuits and everything was far too sticky.

Home made pizza > any takeaway pizza.

Dominos thin and crispy base beats any home made pizza because quite simply no one and make it fresh and get it that nice and thin in a home kitchen.

Plus they do an awesome tandori chicken pizza.

I made a lovely tomato sauce and some really good pasta twas awesome

One fantastic recepies that I do know how to do is as follows:

1) Go to http://www.dominos.co.uk or phone up your nearest store

2) Order pizza that you like

3) Pour yourself a cold beer 5 mins before pizza comes.

Thats one of my favourite recepies

i feel shamed saying this, but i agree with you, just this once.

Dominos thin and crispy texas bbq pizza ftw.

If not that, beans on toast!

Heres one!

It doesnt have a name though -

1. Get some bread.

2. Put margerine on the bread.

3. Put the bread in the microwave for 20 seconds.

4. Eat.

And yes, it is supposed to be as soggy as fuck - but you dont have to chew!

Nice 'n healthy Strawberry Smoothie (for the summer):

Slice a banana

Ice or Ice Cream (Optional - depends how thick/cold/healthy you like it)

Plain Natural Yoghurt

Strawberrys (Raspberries and Blackcurrant are great too)

Blend until smooth. Enjoy.

Serving suggestion: Why not try smearing it all over yourself or on a loved one?

The last person that tried to discover Rokhed's secret recipes found himself in hospital eating through a straw; he'd probably appreciate our smoothie suggestions come to think of it.

Sweet chilli sauce goes with everything, even ice cream. It's particularly useful for making simple meals more interesting. To give you an idea, here's an example:

Boil some pasta (farfalle, fusilli, penne, whatever you like) until it's al dente — cooked but still firm when bitten.

Now you're going to want to lightly fry some chopped vegetables. You can use whatever you have lying around, really, but for an example dice some pepper, onion, and spring onion — if you're feeling adventurous you could even add a bit of pineapple or other 'fleshy' fruit.

Once both pasta and vegetables are done mix them in together and apply some sweet chilli sauce. Add as much as you like, but bear in mind it's quite strong and you can always add more later. Mix it all up some more so the sauce has a chance to mingle. There you are, done. You can eat it hot or cold, but personally I prefer to heat it up once I've added the sauce as I find it spreads better.

If I can do that without burning anything down I'm sure the rest of you can.
