Isn't it permanent?

Well it would shrink if I left the stretchers out, but never back to the original size. I hear you can have plastic surgery though.

I concur, I want to see those people in 50 years time.

Don't the stretch hole in ears close up normal like when removing ear piercings?

Whilst I'm totally up for permanently disfiguring myself at this point in time, I too wonder how I'll feel when I'm older!

I already have 4 noticable scars on my face from past piercings.

Speaking of which, I bought 10 more needles :D

Planning on attacking my face before skipping off to uni in a month.

I don't mind face piercings, Letty seems to do it well/nicely. The only ones I think are FUGLY AS HELL are those ones near the nose, but below it, like Mutya Buena, the ex-sugababe has.

But yeah, the big stretchy ears just look hideous and ridiculous.

Won on ebay £4.30 Free P&P (think its the only episode available on DVD i dont own)

Not strictly a purchase but the sum total off virtually all my purchases over the last 2 months. Its been emotional. So glad to be living in the house again now though.

Im pritty happy with how it turned out for my first proper piece of DIY. Me and my mate did virtually all of it. Except my dad did the window and woodwork hes a joiner any way. And the only thing i had to pay to have done was the plastering. Theres nothing left in the room that was there before everything has been changed.

Depends on how much it stretches, I imagine there is a limit.

there is a "point of no return" as its often termed - and this depends on every person, which basically means you've stretched your ears more than they can recover from.

I shrunk my 3mm down to a 2.5mm without any issues.

You get past 8/10/12mm and its pretty much unlikely that you'll get back to normal sized ears. But then every single person is different.

And @ all you hates, life is too short to care what happens when you are old. She wants to do it, so fair do's to her. You don't like it and that's fair enough but no-body is making you do it to yourself =P
