The reason is military service, it's obligatory here in Finland.

Well I can choose from military service, social work or jail. Military service lasts 6 months and it's the shortest of them all.

 

I have to go there 7th January.

That'd be really annoying. How long do you have to do social work for if you choose thaT? I think that's what I'd go for, especially as I have flat feet so wouldn't be allowed to join the army. (thank God...)
