So erm, did anyone else apart from me order this from the Nintendo Store then? I just wondered as mine didn't turn up, there must either be a delay or stock issues because they sent me an e-mail saying that I apparently contacted them regarding the order - I didn't - and they said something about beinf upgraded to next day delivery - to arrive by 8/10/16 - and a £5 discount code for the inconvenience. It's the 12/10/16 now so I decided to log into my account and it looks like they've updated the account section a bit, the orders are easier to track now and it just has an estimated shipping date of 14/10/16 instead. Probably best to put it down to something going wrong somewhere probably as part of the site upgrade or the free gifts, stock allocation or a combination of all of those factors plus who knows what else because it's Nintendo. Anyway, I just wondered if anyone else who ordered the pack with the game, Boo Amiibo and free Fire Bar Stand (and notebook!) also had the same issues? I'm not that fussed, if it arrives soon then great, I have other games to play but so long as it turns up as described within the next week it's not so bad I guess... ...is anyone else enjoying or even playing the game? (this thread feels like everyone either left the party early or didn't even want to turn up) I can't say I blame anyone for not doing so, especially based on previous parties but I thought I'd take a chance on this one.

Perhaps they will go as far as to announce the annoucement of the annoucement of the NX...

I'll just leave this video here...

Goafer And I Started A Let's Play YouTube Channel....
S.C.G replied to ReZourceman's topic in General Chit Chat
That is Juan nice video lads. The dialogue was both informative and amusing plus the way you play off Juan another is excellent. I've been reminded that I still have Guacamelee! Yet to play, yet another Juan of those Playstation Plus backlog titles I've been meaning to try out, it looks fantastic. Definitely another Juan you can chalk up as a triumph I'd have said. : peace: -
I'm hoping my copy should ship soon, I pre-ordered it and paid for it from Tesco months ago because it got me the game for around £28... In the meantime, there's a Did you know? Gaming video for the Gears series which I thought was worth a watch...

Some of the most entertaining "Let's Play..." videos I've seen this year have been from Easy Allies, they're just different and interesting. Like this short video I just watched, perfect Sunday morning viewing... Skip to 1:25 if you want the main video but I enjoy the bonus bits. They've made plenty of other interesting Let's Play videos which are well worth checking out. : peace: As for in real life... it can be enjoyable to watch someone play a single-player game whilst being something of a back-seat gamer yourself, helping out here and there when required, getting a different perspective from the other player on a game you may have played but is new to them, I don't get to do that as often these days plus on some level it's more fun if you're actually playing along cooperatively but there's definitely something to be said for watching people play games, just so long as you've still got time to play the ones you've been meaning to play yourself.

Now that you mention it, I have a feeling that might have been me. Just after that first sweeping left corner? I ended up chucking one into the sign which rebounded, while the other two went quite far into the distance, someone would need to check the replay data to be sure though. I can't believe I went from second to practically last on Baby Park after chucking a Bob-omb at the finishing line, hits the sign... Boom! Absolute carnage. :p It was a good night though for such a low turnout.

Nice, out of nowhere Wii U ownership, I like it. Also, in a rare turn of events my Wii U is still on following taking part in the MK League so I have added you good sir! : peace: Don't forget to buy FAST Racing NEO plus the newly released DLC, it's only £15 or so all in (probably $28) and it's worth every penny/cent!

It's that time again... Pre-orders are live on the Nintendo store.

I'm probably in the minority of people who have pre-ordered the game on Xbox One... it's always just felt more at home on an Xbox console to me. I've still got to try out the multiplayer as I got a code for the Beta, may give it a whirl later on seeing as I'm on the console a bit more now. Either way, this will probably be the first COD game(s) that I actually put a bit of time into for a change, still probably not a huge amount though (I do have other games to play) but yeah... I'm tentatively looking forward to it.

N-Europe Presents VC Weekly #388 Mega Man 7 Mega Man X Even more Mega Man... ...on a smaller screen. Check inside for the verdicts. Enjoy! : peace:

Welp! Guess this is one demo I'm definitely downloading then.

You have a fair point and at least you're voting with your wallet by not purchasing, I genuinely wish I had that much willpower but for various reasons I feel like I need to buy this. Also as a really regular viewer of Easy Allies - I watch most of their videos and support them monthly on Patreon for that early podcast goodness - I actually agree with Brandon's points for the most part but I also like the idea of the machine as well as a whole : peace: here's the video for anyone interested... Go to 07:40 - 31:30 for all the NES Classic Mini talk.
-
I've had it pre-ordered since it was announced, it's a nice-looking device, has that Retro classic Nintendo appeal, the emulator for the machine is all new it seems, potentially surpassing the quality of the VC emulation on the Wii U which is already really solid overall. Oh, plus those NES controllers!

Congrats ReZ & Claire!

I've added you Joshi! My PSN is Metal-Mutiny, see you online!

Yeah, we clearly weren't quite prepared enough for a Hyper Gammoth, as fun as it was to see our characters get steamrollered into the screen. :p But yeah, aside from that... a pretty productive evening of hunting.

So... that went well, Comm Error right at the start.
-
Sure, 9PM sharp (ish)... ...probably more like 9:15PM. As per usual.

Tonight? (Thursday) Yep! Friday? Nope! Saturday? Possibly... maybe... probably not.

Apparently so, it seems that the game supports up to twelve players online cross-platform at once. You'll need the Xbox App if you don't have it already... http://www.pcmag.com/review/347726/xbox-for-windows-10 I had a load of fun playing again last night, I've driven down nearly half of the roads and smashed about half of the billboards already, currently I'm just driving across the map grabbing XP where I can (I think I'm level 17 currently) and trying to get around 400k credits so I can afford a really nice car which I won the right to purchase... I forget which one it is now as I was just driving around going for this goal :p plus I've since won other cars, possibly better ones but I'm just going to go for the one car and take it from there, currently driving around in the Ford you get to pick at the start. Oh and the Easy Allies review is in...
-
Might as well get it online Joshi, just in case they sell out really quick. : peace:

Out now, third in the successful Forza Horizon series, an open-world driving game with races, jumps, billboards and so much more besides. I personally enjoyed the first game very much indeed, skipped the second even though I wanted to play it but never got around to it and have now returned to the series as this seems to be the best entry yet. This time you get to drive across an Australian-inspired map with a focus on seamless multiplayer, (if you want it) custom challenges and just pure fun in a game which doesn't take itself too seriously at all... ...I mean it allows you to race in a Warthog from Halo so it's clearly not going for all out realism on any meaningful level. Having said that, you can still play how you like, have realistic damage or have the car moreorless drive itself by turning on about a dozen assists, personally I like to switch them all off aside from the realistic damage which is more of a pain but each to their own. I must have played around... four hours yesterday without realising it incidentally it's the first time in ages I've actually turned on my Xbox One to play something, so it must be good. So anyone who's currently playing, planning on picking it up or is perhaps just curious about it after recently purchasing a New Xbox One S possibly... here's a place to talk about the game, share some experiences and enjoy what the Horizon Festival has to offer in the land down under. :awesome: Now if only there was a proper way to stream music in the background for free without compromising the screen display size then it truly would be near-perfect, come on Microsoft... you told us it would be happening soon, it was all possible on the Xbox 360. Ah well, I'll just have to unlock more tolerable in-game radio stations for now. :p

Pre-ordered this package for that Fire Bar amiibo display stand... ...and the Boo amiibo of course. But that display stand is a pretty nice bonus. : peace: Oh and let's not forget that notebook!
