It looks like we're getting the Final Fight franchise - on the New 3DS - this week, so that's Final Fight 1, 2 & 3 on the go. Not bad! I'm betting on a three for the price of two deal.

Just buy Radiant Silvergun as you'd originally planned as it's fantastic and I still can't believe to this day that it even got a digital release as the only other alternative is spending £100 on a Japanese copy for the Sega Saturn where it originated. Continuing with this theme, why not buy Castlevania: Symphony of the Night? It's an absolute classic and although you can buy it in more than one place digitally, this is still much cheaper than getting it on the original Playstation that's for sure. Oh and if you haven't already, I'd advise buying one of those Fightpads as having a controller with a decent d-pad is essential when playing Xbox 360 arcade games. : peace:

Every... single... detail. Both conceivable and not so as well. For instance, if you have seen most of the footage which already exists then you will have likely thought to yourself... "I wonder if..." that kind of stuff, so in a way you could say that it's conjecture for the most part because we really don't know that much beyond what it is we've actually been told about the game. Plenty of subtle detail is picked up on, such as patterning on some of the structures, references to the Sheikah, complete analysis of the topography including the entire map, where landmarks are placed, how big the game is really likely to be, which places from past Zelda games are likely to be in this latest iteration... they even go into just where abouts does the game even fit - if it does - on the Zelda timeline. So... they go pretty deep, but it has as much or as little depth as you want it to really depending on how much it means to have your views on what you've already seen expanded to a much wider field of view. Personally, its made me more excited for the game in general, whereas others might prefer to not know about certain details if they really are planning on going on a media blackout; I really don't think it spoils anything though, so much as it builds upon what we already know, it's definitely one for the fans and they are more than aware of this I'm sure as the whole video is definitely a passion project of theirs even though it's what they do. It's fantastic even by their high standards. : peace:

*gulp* Here goes... *switches on 3DS and prepares to grind in RPG's while watching a two hour video on a game which won't even be out until next year but will surely be well worth the wait* ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, that was insightful, epic and much more than I could have ever hoped for from a two hour Game Explain video... which is saying a lot. They've really gone above and beyond their usual standards, which are already really high, there is stuff in there which I hadn't really even considered. I think at around just after the half hour mark I was thinking to myself "will this ever end?" but at the same time still enjoying it on some level, so I can only think of how much of a slog it must have been for them to go to such lengths... ...but they'd only call it a labour of love, because it's what they do, like a reviewer writing up impressions of a game, or a game-maker like Nintendo making such a marvelous digital world. What a time to be a gamer, videogames continue to amaze me even to this day, just as the Zelda franchise continues to surprise me with each iteration.

Thank you to @Glen\-i and @RedShell for the hunts this evening. I don't know if I was that much help thanks to the numerous disconnects which occurred - not sure why they happened, I have a good signal and I try to be closer to the router - but inbetween those we did at least manage a few successful hunts which was nice. Nailing that flash bomb, followed by the mount and traps on that Glaveneus, I really thought we had it at that point. :awesome: Still, it was a lot of fun and I will try my best to be on a bit more when I can, in the meantime I need to stay on it at least offline for half an hour or so as I'm all out of blue mushrooms. :p Damn constant resource management... ...I love it really.

This beta seems rather substantial, I kept meaning to play the other demo's but never got around to it. Is it worth me getting this beta before the game comes out? I'm gathering that it isn't possible to try for the Mark of the Conqueror any more is it? I feel so out of the loop... Enjoying seeing all of your impressions though. : peace:

One interesting point though... if this happened, would Nintendo be cheap enough to either... take out the small selection of fully playable NES games which were in the code or, add on a higher price to the game to reflect the "extra value" you're getting from having these NES titles available in the game, despite the fact that you could have possibly bought them all five times over before now.

If the second stick is below the buttons, and the primary stick is above the d-pad... plus those rumoured shoulder buttons with varying sensitivity... Then there had better be GameCube VC games this time! :p This is surely the only acceptable form of "compensation" for not having the D-Pad alligned with the face buttons. It's probably ok though, we'll likely get different swappable control schemes or extra controllers by the bucketload, so it's all good... probably.

Certainly not! Although, that list is actually quite restrained in some respects. I at least expect Nintendo to announce Metroid Prime Hunters for the VC because, it's already out in other territories and now would be perfect timing what with Metroid Prime Federation Force almost upon us. OK, the Mario and Splatoon related stuff is pretty out there, most likely it will just be recaps of all the fantastic RPG's which are yet to be released for the 3DS but it would be nice for Nintendo to at least mention Metroid a bit, perhaps let us in on a special Metroid Direct later in the year or to stay tuned for announcements during the "Year of Samus" or something. : peace: Oh well, I can dream.

You're most welcome though don't mind me saying that there shouldn't be any more in the series, I'm only half-serious and I do end the second review stating that maybe the series isn't so bad afterall. It stems from me becoming rather burnt out on the series from playing them on the Nintendo DS as I did buy them all and played them when I was in a huge "must play these Pokémon titles!" kind of phase, I ended up playing Ranger titles back to back... I've since sold them as well - perhaps I should have waited until recently to cash-in - but I still have the memories. Also I have loads of other games to play, so it just leaves me thinking about all the other adventure based titles I could be playing so it's partly that as well. Though if they were to make another Pokémon Ranger title I would argue that there is plenty they could change to make the experience better, for instance with the selection of creatures start having ones that either haven't featured or that are less obvious choices in addition to having some well established favourites of course, more like Ukulele Pichu for starters... an Ocarina Kecleon perhaps? :wink: @Glen\-i Other changes I would make, how about taking inspiration from the mainline games, perhaps even have you visit past towns in some bizarre plot involving Time & Space... you could even rope in some Diamond & Pearl creatures for plot purposes. Clearly concepts which would work well in 3D as well, through in a few more puzzles, plenty of mini-games to give you something else to do and make as much of the dialogue as fun as possible. Damn... now I kind of want a new entry in the series as well watch it happen tomorrow in the Direct, we'll have to take full blame if it happens now! :p As for the cheaper prices... perhaps the first one was more difficult to translate for some reason? Or it could be to do with the fact that the later games both had Nintendo Wi-Fi functionality which isn't present now for obvious reasons so maybe it's a discount for that perhaps... that's my guess and I'm sticking to it.

If that's true, I wonder if you could use your exisiting Wii U hard drive with it? Probably not but... Though if it is primarily a handheld device then 32Gb built-in would make sense, that's what I have in my New 3DS XL I believe and I still have space after loads of VC titles, demo's, video's and full retail titles.

That's what I thought, it seems as though it's all been blown out of proportion, you are only being honest afterall, better that than to lie and say that you like them when you don't? Well, I seriously hope that it's not the case then... I know how it can be if you've upset someone you really care about, it's the worst feeling and can sometimes lead you to assume the worst is going to happen if you let it spiral. Hopefully she just needs time but personally it doesn't sound to me like you've really done anything wrong except tell the truth... telling the truth is a good thing as well but well, I guess it's all down to perception and whether the other person is willing to accept the truth I suppose. : peace: All the best anyway.
