Why would anyone volunteer to try that out... More to the point, why would anyone make such a device? The game still looks good on its own merits but that peripheral is clearly a (nasal) bridge too far.

Hasn't the current league ended as of last week? There may be a break before the new one starts if so... though I could be wrong.

N-Europe Presents VC Weekly #385 Donkey Kong Country 3 Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! @Josh64 and I team up to tackle DKC3 on the New 3DS... ...and we meet some fantastically dressed bears along the way. Check inside for the verdict. Enjoy! : peace:

Well... technically the NX would be the seventh internet enabled Home Console but this is really clutching at straws, as all I would be referring to would be... NES - Famicom modem, only in Japan, mainly used for banking. SNES - Satellaview, Japan only... although OK not technically online as such but it was still technically impressive. N64 - 64DD, again Japan only, plenty of untapped potential combining that extra storage space with online. But yeah... as for saying who used the GameCube for online as Hero and Sheikah have already said that abbriviation which stands for those magical three words... Phantasy Star Online, pretty much the only online GameCube game released over here - two standalone titles if we're including episodes I&II plus Episode III - and it was more than worth the price of the modem/broadband adapter plus the monthly subscription fee. : peace:

Ah this is already out? I dropped the ball on that one! I'll get on this soon hopefully, I was just reading up on the backstory of the games development and the few varying reviews of it - mostly positive - all seem to point towards this becoming a cult classic of sorts, I definitely plan to purchase it.

OK, this time I played for nearly a full hour and I feel like I've uncovered a deeper understanding of the game. I feel a lot better about it now, have actually made a small amount of progress and I can only see myself dipping into it more frequently when I have the time.

Sad news indeed. R.I.P. Kenny Baker

I'm back at work now so it'll only be Monster Hunter from Sunday through to Thursday, earliest 7PM, Latest 9PM onwards for me so Friday and Saturday are out. I hope everyone enjoys hunting over the weekend though, last nights hunting was great fun as well.

Well so much for that, I played for... not even three quarters of an hour and I had a crash within the first twenty minutes and I was too tired to carry on playing/redo the small amount of lost "progress" I had made. Now, I don't want to be down on the game because in that short amount of time I managed to mine at least ten different things, activate that beacon thing, destroyed a drone before promptly running away from the rest and I found at least one glitched creature. It was interesting enough, though I need to put some real time into it but this won't really be possible until Sunday at the earliest hopefully by then there might be another patch to fix crashes and other things as quite honestly my PS4 hadn't crashed like that since launch. Of course I am willing to put some more time into it, I didn't really have any huge preconceptions going in plus it's a new game, so I'm not disappointed just slightly deflated at the moment; no doubt these feelings will be no more on my next play session of it. : peace: Naturally what has impressed me is the overall tone that the game has, oh and the soundtrack, I bought the album after listening to it a week ago and I had it on in the background while I was playing a bit of Monster Hunter last night before trying this out, really solid OST. :awesome:

OK, I'm about to fire up No Man's Sky for the first time. I will play for one hour... ...I'll report back in two hours.

I'm more than happy to meet up with you, my next week off work is the second to last week in September - 19th onwards - but I get days off during the week so hopefully we'll be able to arrange something. It's amazing what you've achieved already though. -
Another priceless night of Monster Hunting! No such Samus style heroic missions for us tonight though. Lots of bug squishing though... :p
-
I'm available... ...right now! For a limited time, while stocks last, terms and conditions apply.
-
Purchased, downloaded, signed-up and I've given you a follow. Nicely done @Ashley. I'm sure I recalled you talking about a game you were making so I'm glad to see that its come to fruition. Game development is something I'd like to get into one day as well, so who knows... I may learn to program and make a game in the future. Will let you know when I've played it, certainly sounds original and fun. Also I'm sure you're allowed at least a certain amount of shameless promotion, especially in this case.

No worries, sure I can hunt with you for an hour now if you like? I'll make a room... Hunters Hub ID 17-1026-3837-6805 Pass 4444 Or go to friends list - in game - and join, it should let you straight in. Nevermind... I've joined your open game instead, just in time for the next hunt! :p ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, at least we tried! Got one quest done at least, give us a shout later in the evening, we'll get you to HR3 yet!
-
Sounds to me like you're playing No Man's Planet! I love hearing that there's so much to do though just on the planet you start out on, it's encouraging. Will try this out later for a little bit. : peace:
-
Not a problem, I enjoyed it! My favourite part was going on that Volcano quest to kill 20 small monsters and then ending up going for the Brachy Bonus instead... ...well we were playing The Hunt is Right afterall. @Kaepora_Gaebora let us know when you're next about and I'll help you out, we were on for a while but saw no sign of you... give us a mention and we'll go hunt stuff later.
-
I got my copy and have left it to do its thing. Is the 824.2MB update the only known one so far or are there more after?
-
Joining now, just got myself a Hot Drink to sustain me during the harshest of hunting environments... ...Oh wait it's not that cold? You should have said, oh well I've got it just in case.
-
I could help you out for an hour or so after 11am. I'll join your game from just after 11am and we'll go from there all going well. I had help getting to HR 4 last night as aforementioned and I've had plenty of help before that, so I'm more than willing to help out a fellow hunter in return. : peace: We are the N-E Brotherhood afterall. :awesome:
-
A monster-sized thanks to @Hero\-of\-Time and @RedShell for helping me power through to HR4! Some of those monsters were butchered in a matter of seconds! It's a shame I keeled over twice in the final quest but in fairness I wasn't quite expecting that dlc quest to be so tough, I just thought, last quest, make it a good one... Oh a Metroid themed dlc quest! Let's go butcher a Ridley-look-a-like to celebrate the series' 30th anniversary... ...but it just wasn't to be. One day though perhaps and in any case it was a really fun evening. : peace:
-
Hmm odd... you're showing up on my MH Friend List as online Hero but RedShell still isn't.
-
Same, Deathjam shows up on my list but you don't for some reason. Do we need to add each other to an extra friends list in game or something? Mega confusion... yeah let's try again. Making another room...
-
I think it's doing the same thing as last time Red... you're not showing up as online in my MH friends list, shall I make a room? I've made a room anyway, usual pass if applicable.
