Game development is something I'd like to get into one day as well, so who knows... I may learn to program and make a game in the future. Will let you know when I've played it, certainly sounds original and fun. Also I'm sure you're allowed at least a certain amount of shameless promotion, especially in this case.

Sounds to me like you're playing No Man's Planet! I love hearing that there's so much to do though just on the planet you start out on, it's encouraging. Will try this out later for a little bit. : peace:

Not a problem, I enjoyed it! My favourite part was going on that Volcano quest to kill 20 small monsters and then ending up going for the Brachy Bonus instead... ...well we were playing The Hunt is Right afterall. @Kaepora_Gaebora let us know when you're next about and I'll help you out, we were on for a while but saw no sign of you... give us a mention and we'll go hunt stuff later.

I got my copy and have left it to do its thing. Is the 824.2MB update the only known one so far or are there more after?

A monster-sized thanks to @Hero\-of\-Time and @RedShell for helping me power through to HR4! Some of those monsters were butchered in a matter of seconds! It's a shame I keeled over twice in the final quest but in fairness I wasn't quite expecting that dlc quest to be so tough, I just thought, last quest, make it a good one... Oh a Metroid themed dlc quest! Let's go butcher a Ridley-look-a-like to celebrate the series' 30th anniversary... ...but it just wasn't to be. One day though perhaps and in any case it was a really fun evening. : peace:

It just feels more like a "PS4" game to me. I've never really cared much for keyboard and mouse controls either. Plus the game is £39.99 on Steam with the game locked until 12/08/2016 whereas I got the PS4 version in a deal which only cost me £36 and it's in the post already. All of it just comes down to preference surely? Plus my PC wouldn't run it as well as my PS4 will... I'd need to upgrade the graphics again, something I don't need to do for the relatively low-requirement games I play on it. : peace: I'm getting it at launch though, so long as everyone is playing and enjoying the game, that's all that matters surely?

Yes... And both DLC's... Plus the majority of my PS4 collection... It shall be my end of 2016 game, Winter is coming... Witcher 3 is coming! : peace: Hopefully... Before that though, just a little bit of Space Exploration in No Man's Sky, I'm sure it won't take over my life like I'm sure The Witcher 3 most likely will. :wink: It might though... a bit.

PS4 for me because it feels better suited to the format - to me anyway - but I'm only going to be dipping into it here and there rather than racing to the centre of the universe. Looking forward to even spending just a little bit of time with it here and there.

Oh no! Perhaps it was to do with the music tracks used? Which is odd becuase if it's to do with that classical track... that should be out of copyright by default surely? Either way, Its got to be the case that the video was wrongly removed, it must have been reported or something dumb, I don't know much about YT's policies but something doesn't add up here. It's only the Mario Kart 8 league highlights which appear on the same channel every week, what's the harm? I just checked, it's only this weeks video as well... sod 'em! I'd just reupload it with slightly different music or something.

Thanks to @Glen\-i , @Ugh first aid and @RedShell for the quests tonight, it was fun! I got to fight against many monsters I hadn't previously fought and although we seemed to decimate a lot of them, I'm still having a lot of fun with this game regardless of whether it seems easier or not, skill definitely still plays a part. I'm hopeful that the High Rank quests will kick things up a notch, either way though the enjoyment is still very much there so I'll keep coming back to this title regularly for the forseeable future. : peace:

I am indeed but I'll likely be on more like 7PM after dinner, possibly earlier though but definitely at some point this evening. HR3 but I've still got plenty to do offline and a bit to do before HR4... I don't want to think too far ahead though as I'm just enjoying playing at the moment.

@Iun I've said it before and I'll say it again, you deserve so much better. I understand it's a difficul situation though, sometimes you don't find out what someone is really like or that things don't work out months or years later and by then you feel trapped. By that point if its become an obligation to be with that person then that's not really a relationship, especially if they are so ungrateful and don't appreciate you anymore despite your efforts to at least try to love them. Getting out of it sounds like the best thing you can do when you have the chance, easy for me to say I know and harder for you to do but you were there for me when my last relationship ended so I hope you know that I'm here for you now if you want to talk about it. You're a nice guy Iun and I'm sure the rest of N-E will be happy to support you as well. : peace: Also if you find yourself with a lot of free time when you decide to make that leap then you could always write some more articles for the site... and while this isn't the reason I'm doing this, I'd certainly welcome more editions of Miyamoto's Garden or anything you'd care to write for us.

What can I say Glen-i... at least I tried! :wink: Some great hunts though with yourself, @Dcubed and @RedShell. I thought we did pretty well tonight overall.
