Easy Allies * * * * * Review Looks good, I'm interested. Not at full price though. And not at launch. :p *waits for GOTY edition* : peace:

ZX Spectrum Next Last day or so for it now, it's already doing really well. Well worth checking out some of the demonstration videos... It might not be cheap but I think it's a great evolution of a classic machine which will surely have a bright future ahead of it thanks to an incredible development scene. Who knows... all going well, I might even make a game for it someday. : peace:

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
S.C.G replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
This can't be right as I recall partaking in the Goron Heat Trial without doing the Gut Check Challenge or defeating the Divine Beast. That's the one where you have to withstand an intense amount of heat in a set amount of time without losing all your hearts? I seem to recall that I just kept eating to avoid keeling over, still seemed to work. -
Easy Allies Podcast "I'm enjoying these microtransactions!"

Well if that happens, I'm guessing I won't be playing it afterall so that makes the decision easier. No more brand new consoles until at least 2020, that's the plan. I have an OG PS4 which has 2TB of space with loads of games to play on it, no 4K TV so no need to upgrade plus an OG Xbox One with a 3TB HDD to fill and I just got a Switch plus a 200GB micro SD card; I'm good for a while. :awesome: If it plays on Xbox One as standard though, count me back in!

I... bought the original game in its physical form, didn't play it, the game then became collectable so I sold it on to someone who possibly would end up playing it instead. Too many physical special edition PS4 games, what you gonna' do? Ah well, I might play the original digitally, it'll probably be a Plus game soon if it hasn't already - I can't remember - so I might buy this sequel potentially, so yay? Or I might just buy the physical limited edition again... y'know... just in case.
-
Then... I guess I'll be pre-ordering it again then. :p Only this time at ShopTo or somewhere normal to pre-order games without paying in advance so I can cancel again if it all goes pear-shaped.

I've just checked through a load of threads plus some articles on the main site and I can confirm that I've yet to encounter a single error so far today. Thanks for looking in it, will post in here if I spot any CloudFlare pages but so far it's all fine and everything seems to be loading quickly too. : peace:

Fuuny thing is, last night it was up - after I'd turned off the machine of course - but I still tried to download it before going to sleep, got to around 30% and then I just decided to turn it off for the night being that it was 2am and I didn't really want to leave theXbox One on over night - dat power consumption - but I've got the machine on now while it's hapily downloading the rest of the game after telling me that it had stopped downloading it about four times over. :p Anyway, I should finally get to play Phantom Dust today!

So original Sonic Characters are now officially canon. :p This is... actually a pretty good move from Sega, at least it keeps everyone happy if you can just choose to play as whichever character you want. Or just, y'know... play as Sonic, at least that way you know what you're getting. Potentially though, this could work... I prefer the look of Sonic Mania right now but I'm still interested in Sonic Forces.

Yeah, he's been involved with a surprising range of different projects, I'm mostly familiar with his work on Panzer Dragoon though but I'm always interested in his other works. It seems that Phantom Dust isn't on the store yet, hopefully it's up by this evening with any luck. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Annnd now my Xbox is updated... twice for some reason and my external hard drive is no longer booting up despite over half an hour of troubleshooting. The hard drive was working fine before the update, it was taking ages so I went away and left it, came back to find the Xbox One presumably updated but the hard drive off, I checked for updates again to confirm and it said there was another update available so I downloaded that, still no joy. I've turned the machine off, unplugged the power to the hard drive, the USB, powered off the console, restarted with the drive on/off or connected/disconnected, still no luck. So I've just turned it all off and I probably won't bother with it now until the next update rolls out which will hopefully fix whatever it is that they've broken about hard drive support because I haven't had any trouble until now. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, shit... I swapped out the lead from my identical type pf hard drive I have for my Wii U and now it's fine so nevermind. :p --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nearly 11PM and still no sign of Phantom Dust time to turn the machine off for the night and hope the game is there tomorrow.

This game has been on my radar for a while, so I've wanted to buy it to play as soon as it's released on the Xbox One being that we didn't get it on the original Xbox over here in Europe. Especially as it's directed and produced by Yukio Futatsugi who's the director of Panzer Dragoon, one of my favourite game series of all time. But for free?!? My god... I would have paid good money for this, getting on it right away, finally a reason to turn on my Xbox One again. Just as well I switched on my Xbox One now... guess what? Another system update!

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

I'm glad to hear that you're getting a decent amount of enjoyment out of the game from your second run. Regarding earning Rupees... how many amiibo do you have to date? I have a feeling that it's around 80+ (I also have that many) isn't it? I don't know if it's just me but almost every day since the game came out, I've been scanning my amiibo figures in, nabbing all the items, cooking en-masse and then selling stuff like grilled meat (5X meat pieces) which each sell for 125 Rupees each or something like that as I ended up maxing out with 999 meat pieces ages ago. So I just do that, then set up by the fire at a stable, cook the meat while skipping the cooking scene and within minutes I've sold 100 - 200 pieces of meat for a few thousand rupees, I think the most I've had is around 64,000 rupees or something crazy like that but on average I usually have about 50,000 rupees after daily expenditure on diamonds etc from the ore shop in Tarrey Town which I only completed the quest to recently. I've still got plenty to do in this game, aside from scanning amiibo in I haven't been playing it that much recently due to playing loads of Neo Geo games and stuff for review but I have been getting more into it recently and I've easily clocked in over 120 hours at the expense of plenty of other games I've got waiting to be played, something about it just keeps me coming back, not even Mario Kart can keep me away from it. : peace: -
*sees the thread* "Oh the MK8 league is back! Cool, I'll just go ahead and sign up..." *reads the thread* "...or not, oh well I'm not that great at the game anyway plus the Wi-Fi and online hasn't been properly sorted out yet so there's bound to be problems" That was basically my thought process... :p But I completely understand, it's cool, Fridays will allow other players the chance to play who might not have been able to previously when the league was on a Thursday night plus it was just dumb luck on my part that I have that evening free. Plus I'm guessing it's an easier day for you - @The Mole - to organise it all, which is very good of you and appreciated by our forum community and that goes for anyone who has ever organised the league in the past as well; it's a great thing indeed. Ah well, it has been fun to have been a part of the league in years gone by and I wish everyone all the best with it going forward. I hope that it goes well, that it's fun for everyone and if you want the league to be promoted on site nearer the time then just give us a shout. : peace:

Did someone mention Shantae? *sigh* alright then, I know the drill. It's time to summon... @Grazza!

Has anyone on the forum managed to get all 900 Korok seeds? I feel like we need some kind of N-Europe themed Platinum Trophy perhaps in the shape of Hestu's Gift in the event of such an occasion. -
So... £49.99 RRP then.

Yooka - - Laylee 64-Bit Edition Better late than never. Larger size images can be made available on the forum if required. I took some pictures of the 64-Bit edition a while ago with the intention of putting them on site. This is the best I could do for now though, so at least you can see what the box and cartridge looks like. : peace:

Why not find out what the Switch Dock costs on its own, buy the Switch with the dock, then sell the dock on its own with the hdmi cable for slightly less than the set? That would give you the machine for around that price I'd imagine. Do you not think that the dock is something you'd use with the Switch though? I must admit that as nice as playing the games in portable mode is, when I go from undocked to docked and displaying on the big screen with Zelda, it's really nice to just take in all the extra details which really come to life on the TV at slightly higher resolution. I suppose if you wanted a cheaper option down the line, you could just buy a HDMI to USB C cable which I believe does the same thing, only without all that extra plastic, though I'm not sure about the charging though as the dock handles both of those things at the same time. Just a thought anyway. : peace:

So on the Nintendo Store currently... Nintendo Switch Power Adapter £24.99 If they sold it sperately... Nintendo Branded HDMI Cable £9.99 (because that Nintendo tax) Therefore without those two items... Nintendo Switch Dock (solus) £14.99 Which would mean that the rrp of the Nintendo Switch dock set should be £49.99 Though they could really do themselves a favour by selling them for around £30 which would still prove profitable for them and would be better for the consumer.
