I was just waiting until the game is actually available to play, I've been checking it on the store every time I load up my PS4 ever since I pre-ordered it ages ago. :p *three weeks ago* "Is it ready yet?" *two weeks ago* "I could have sworn more time had passed than that" *a week ago* "Can't I just... play it now?" *two nights ago* "aww come on!" *last night* "this is ready to play now right? Oh... 23 hours and 16 mins..." So tonight, I'm going to be all over this as I love me some Housemarque. Well, I didn't really like Alienation that much but this looks so much better than that so all is well!

Easy Allies once again knocking it out of the park with their E3 videos! Best Carpet of E3! Who will be the E3 2017 winner? You'll have to watch it to find out, well worth watching. : peace:

I'm genuinely excited by this title, at first when it was announced I was thinking that this might be like one of those Monster Hunter Frontier titles but it seems that this really is the bold new direction for the series on the Playstation platform... Yes I know it's slated for Xbox One and PC as well but I think it's clear which platform most people will be gravitating towards with this. Of course I still want Monster Hunter Cross Generations to be released on the Switch over here - no way am I importing if there's no English text - but I'm ready for a brand new Monster Hunter game. The potential for this title is huge, there have already been concerns voiced that it might not sell so well on the Xbox One but I can only hope that on the PS4 at the very least, some newcomers to the series will give it a fair chance and I also hope that it's released at a decent enough time as well... Early 2018 then? How about the end of January... not that I'm impatient to go hunting of course. Given that the very nature of the map design is very open, the level of A.I. utilised by the monsters and the ever-changing situations which can escalate rather quickly meaning that you'll need to rely on your skills as a hunter; this is going to make for a very unique experience which with any luck will just further bolster the popularity of the series while simultaneously moving it forward in what it hopefully the right direction. : peace:

SorryNotSorry drahkon is right though, as long as you are happy on your own and can find happiness in what you do without depending on being in a relationship to justify your own happiness then it's not so bad. If you are unhappy on your own though stuwii then I don't know what to say other than I wish you all the best in finding someone for what it's worth. : peace: In fact... I wish that for everyone who's currently wanting to be in a relationship but currently isn't for whatever reason. As for me? I'm looking but not looking at the moment, I feel more of a strong sense of purpose alone than I ever did when in a relationship... so that's good, I guess? If I find someone again who is interested in me as a person and is wanting a relationship, then that's great but if not then, I have plenty of other things in my life to occupy my time with.

Well, it has been a crazy past few days. I think we're just about caught up now as I've been trying to collate all of the main E3 info. So here's a summary of the Nintendo Spotlight and all the main, major annoucements from the Nintendo Treehouse. There's a tonne of links in there which go to most of @Josh64's individually written articles, that's where all of the videos are. Just as well Nintendo didn't annouce anything else last minute, even though I would have loved them to have done so. : peace:

Hell yes! As it happens, I've just signed up for this weeks league, only because it's my week off work, normally it means I can't attend on Friday but if the league does change back to Thursdays then I'd likely start playing again... depending on how tomorrow night goes connection-wise of course.
-
Wait a minute... I've just realised something! It's my week off work, which means that I'm available this Friday. So for one night only... A New Challenger Appears! :awesome:

Pre-order now for your bonus Final Fantasy themed Watch Face, which plays the Victory Theme, every hour, without fail, whether you want it to or not.

Also... Sea of Thieves though. :p Such a bad time to reveal this, Rare will surely have the better Pirate game, it has loads more charm for starters. But this is multiformat I guess so there is that, Pirate game for the Playstation platform, I guess it could be worse, it's just not going to do well I feel.

For the first time in a long time, that's one title I purposely won't be adding to my library because I can confidently say that it would never be played on my PS4. I can see that they are trying to expand the market but this is a type of game I would never consider playing personally, even if I had the means to do so. Let's hope the rest of the Plus games are playable with a conventional controller. Anyway, no big deal, this isn't what I have PS Plus for, Sony still provide plenty as part of the subscription service, so all is well.

I have no idea, I think I'm happy enough just with watching their reactions to the big games so far, that Microsoft conference was two hours afterall so I don't think even Easy Allies coverage will make me want to sit through that again. That press conference from Devolver Digital though, what a masterpiece!
-
VC... or not VC? That is the question. I'm very hopeful that the service will be launching in at least some capacity tomorrow. Probably with a few representative titles for each digital format, hopefully titles we haven't seen before, maybe something like this... NES - Dragon Warrior SNES - Starwing N64 - Bomberman 64 The Second Attack GBA - Mother 3 GC - Wace Race: Blue Storm So that way, we'd start with getting VC titles which we haven't had before at least and the rest of the existing library could be ported over if it isn't already ready that is. Beyond that, I don't know, even the above titles might not come out but I know that they would certainly be a good start, especially if they somehow managed to get Starwing up and running. : peace:
-
I was grinning from ear to ear when I saw this announcement. I'm happy that I'll now hopefully be able to play all of the Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One games I'll ever need on one machine. Aside from that the conference was... Oh shiny car! Oh shiny console! Oh shiny stage! There were some games in there, granted but I'm only interested in a small amount of them. I still want Sea of Thieves though, so there's that. : peace: Still... even with all of those games, I felt like there were one or two annoucements which could have been for amazing titles but they just didn't happen. I wonder how much money was blown on this extra shiny press conference...
-
I'm doing exactly the same, or at least watching most of it - the conference part - before the Microsoft Conference starts at 10PM. I wasn't going to watch the EA stream, but seeing that Easy Allies covered it, this just makes me want to watch it as they simply make it worthwhile, to the point that I'll likely be catching up with what they had to say about all the main conferences after watching the streams live of course. Easy Allies really have gone from strength to strength with their video content and I'm proud to be a Patreon of theirs, especially at E3 time. : peace:

$499 US Dollars? *flashbacks to E3 2006* I know it's one hundred dollars less but it's a different monetary climate now. $399 would be a better bet, then just knock $50 off the price of the existing Xbox One models to make the price-gap seem larger, just not as large as being around double the price of the other machines.
-
Ah, well if they all end up running from the original discs then all the better, I already have those but if there were any games I didn't have or if the original disc didn't look to good then I'd consider rebuying them on the store even though I own the original games is what I mean. I'd be happy with just download only but running from the original discs would be amazing, it's part of the reason I have some of my original Xbox games still alongside my 360 and One titles. : peace:
-
My condolences to you and your family Ashley.
-
It's essentially money left on the table, I would pay up to £10 per game if I could play those original Xbox titles on my Xbox One with near-perfect emulation. I would definitely rebuy ALL of the Sega games... Panzer Dragoon Orta, Jet Set Radio Future, Outrun 2, Phantasy Star Online, Gunvalkyrie, Shenmue II, ToeJam & Earl III... And that's just games from one label, imagine all of the others.
-
Wherever there's "free" stuff, there's always a price somewhere down the line, not that it isn't tempting though.
-
So where is everyone going to be watching Microsoft's E3 2017 Briefing? I'm going with Twitch... https://www.twitch.tv/xbox There is Mixer - for dat 4K stream - but I didn't like the look of that, plus when the stream gets choppy it will probably be more like 480p than 4K to watch it without any issues. :p Either way, 10PM UK time, should be good hopefully.

Nintendo confirms: No live conference at E3 this year
S.C.G replied to Serebii's topic in Nintendo Gaming
That moment when you realise that the best water-based racing game you've ever played, came out half a life-time ago! I was only sixteen when I bought my GameCube on release day with Star Wars: Rogue Leader and Wave Race: Blue Storm, it was easily one of the most memorable launch days ever. We are definitely long overdue for a new Wave Race game, one which would have even more dynamic weather conditions, support for traditional Pro Controller but best of all they could implement a brand new control scheme - credit to Don from Easy Allies (I think Hero referenced the video in the E3 2017 thread) - using the Joy-Cons in handle-bar mode to control your watercraft. The potential is there, the hardware is there, the demand is there... it just needs to happen. : peace: -

I would grudgingly sit through 27 minutes of trash titles if they finish with 3 minutes of Metroid goodness. -
Digital only, mid-range, mid-price game? (going from what they said in the video) £25 (£22 for Plus members) and you've got a deal. This could be good.
