No, however now that I know about it I'll certain be claiming it when I next go on my Xbox One. This reminds me, I have some dlc to claim by now as well because I bought the Season Pass but then other games came out. I'm keen to get back into this at some point soon though, it's a really fantastic game.

Congratulations on becoming a Switch owner @MindFreak even if it is earlier than you anticipated, still what a surprise though. Oh and give my condolences to your master thesis. I'm sure you'll be fine, all you need do is moderate your play time on Zelda... good luck. :p Don't forget to let us know your Friend Code when you get the chance. : peace: Also, Happy Birthday just gone and welcome to the "30 and over club"

That's a very good point! It really does show what a world of difference it must be for developers, for them to change over at this late stage must mean that moving things across and getting it running must be a lot simpler then having to contend with the Wii U's dated, more challenging architecture. I reckon they'll have something to show in an update within relatively little time at all with any luck.

Physical version for the Switch instead? I sure hope so! Obviously this isn't good for anyone who just wanted it for the Wii U but... Nintendo essentially changed platforms when most of these Kickstarter projects were partway through development, so it was bound to happen. It's just bad timing... or good timing, depending on your perspective. : peace:

Probably about half my income... ...in a quiet month. As for this month though? Wallet be damned! I do want to cut back though, plus I have sold certain games from my collection to fund some of my expenditure. But now I've been thinking that aside from those games which I really feel the need to purchase on release date, I'm just going to wait and save money. : peace: It's tough though... Quite a few titles this month though I'll justify because of reviewing them but I know that in a few months I'll look at certain titles on my PS4 shelf and think to myself "I still haven't played that..." but I know that I will one day. Or that's how I justify it anyway, that and the fact that it's my main interest, I don't have any other real vices so, why not? : peace:

Thank you! As it happens, I still had it on back order from when I placed it figuring I would wait before I got the second hand copy, so it looks like I've got a sealed one for the collection but I went for SMT IV Apocalypse as well for that price. The orders took about 10 - 15 mins to process for me as well, but all sorted now.
-
Oh wow, that's glorious! Please let it be localised and released over here, I'd buy that collection in a heartbeat.
-
It's a good price, the physical version is sold out everywhere and it's around £40... I bought it but I haven't played it yet though I can say one thing for certain; with Yuzo Kushiro involved, the soundtrack should be nothing short of spectacular.

Easy Allies * * * * * Review It's reviews like this and hearing so many positive impressions which make me want to buy this game now... ...it's sense which is telling me to wait and clear some of the other games which are in my already expansive backlog. Even so, I'm currently hovering over buying *Nier Automata and the previous game. *I bought them both... who knew that the original game would become so rare, oh well £80 later... There really is no hope for me. R.I.P. Wallet : peace:

It's a shame but it's understandable. Take your time, let it coooooook! Someone might want to change the thread title so it says "Sonic Mania (Summer 2017)" though.

I'm not gonna lie, there are times when I've thought to myself... Would I really miss my Wii U if it wasn't there? At this point though, I think of all the Virtual Console games I've built up on it and what I would have to do to reclaim them thanks to the absurd account system of sorts. Plus it seems now that the Switch is out, the Virtual Console games for the Wii U have increased in frequency... Not just the same titles either, some are newly released for the VC such as Harvest Moon 64, Bomberman 64 in addition to a slew of decent TG16 titles. This leads me to believe that Nintendo must be planning on honouring purchases linked to your NNID from at least Wii U and 3DS onwards from when the Nintendo Network ID service launched, so it will likely still be possible to reclaim all these titles on the Switch but I really don't know what the case is if you've traded your Wii U in... because although you might use the same NNID on the Switch, I hear that if you delete it from the Wii U then everything just ceases to exist? So I'm going to keep my Wii U at the very least for VC titles as I have way too much invested in it at this point but I'm also keeping it as it still represents a vital step for Nintendo into the HD era of gaming... a somewhat late step, followed by a few stumbles but towards the end of its retail life I feel like it really hit its stride in terms of decent and original titles. Plus there are a fair few that I still need to finish or even unseal. Long live the Switch of course - and the 3DS for as long as it can - but I'm not done with the Wii U just yet... ...I'll just be avoiding using the gamepad unless I absolutely have to. :p

It seems like you're an unstoppable game-making extraordinaire @Ashley. Good on you though for getting another game out there in such a short time-frame and for what seems like a good cause as well. I like that it's another cleverly titled game plus the visuals by Álvaro Rodríguez have a nice style to them. Obviously these are just my first impressions going off the write-up but I did download it when I got an e-mail from itch.io informing me that you'd made another game. So it's currently in a dedicated folder, on my desktop, I will play it and get back to you with feedback of course but this just happens to be a very busy time for gaming as I know you're well aware; but I will give it some playtime soon as I'm genuinely interested in it. : peace: Jut checked when you made your last game, that was really six months ago? I really don't know where the time is going.

I'm really glad to hear that a lot of enjoyment has been derived from this game, personally I'm also enjoying it though I've also been taking notes as I play - in addition to screens - in preparation for the review. Obviously I'm under no embargo because this is my own copy and I'm going to try and keep things as spoiler-free as possible but the more I play, the more it becomes evident how huge this game is and I find it fascinating to read both threads so that I can read about how everyone else is finding the game. Which brings me to the question I wish to ask; Do any of you mind if I use the following quotes in the review providing I give full credit? : peace: It's not so much to pad-out the review as I already have loads to talk about but more that I'd like to have a section dedicated to the forums experience, I'll likely trawl through the other thread later but in the meantime if anyone wants to highlight any particular quotes or wants a quote of theirs possibly included then give me a shout plus the quote in full. I can't remember a time that a game like this has come out with this much variation to offer from a Nintendo title in such a unique fashion so I think it would be nice to have some extra quotes in the main review, plus if it really takes off then maybe a seperate article as well. This is a really fantastic time to be a gamer, especially on Nintendo platforms and it's great to see the community so passionate, also I want to throw a thanks to @Goron_3 for helping provide some reviews for us of his own back. A big thank you to every member of this site/forum for making this place so great and for making playing through a brand new Zelda game - be it on either platform - that little bit more special.

The question should perhaps be at this point... Can I get a Switch right now? From what I've seen, it seems to be sold out everywhere. But yes, I'd say that if you can buy one now then it is absolutely worth it and will certainly be even more worthwhile in the future.

Bad luck Aneres. Here's a link to the left Joy-Con (grey) which is probably your best option... https://store.nintendo.co.uk/nintendo-switch-accessory/grey-joy-con-controller-l/11396096.html £40 but... at least the joy-con took most of the impact? The actual Switch itself is fine... right? : peace: How bad is the damage to the Joy-Con btw? You could at least keep it for spare parts.

Resident Evil Revelations (PS4 Xbox One) Autumn 2017

Good, that's another gap to be filled on the PS4 shelf. -

FF I - XIII collection on PS4? Would buy! Despite already owning the earlier games digitally... a few times over. Or maybe just... FF I - IX thinking about it because I already have the X & X2 remaster, then XII remaster is coming out. So how about, Final Fantasy pre-millenium collection containing 1 through to 9... Then just have a Final Fantasy 13 remaster containing all three titles... THEN release the big box set at the end of it all for those who want the lot and haven't already bought the remasters. : peace: Besides, I'm trying to only have PS4 games in my collection which fit in standard size cases so no huge bespoke blu-ray case please Sony, anyway... most of the earlier games will be able to fit on one Blu-Ray surely? It's nice to have options...

Some really nice visuals there. Not only am I going to have a hard time deciding whether to get this on 3DS or PS4. (or Switch if it's on-par) But if I get the home console version then I'm definitely going to be trying to climb every mountain and building I see as it will be force of habit at that point. :p Especially that Castle/Bridge in the fourth screen.

Seems I took longer than anticipated - its been a long day - but I'd be up for some Bomberman tomorrow if anyone is interested. Do you really have to get everyone to join within thirty seconds though? Why don't they just include a "ready up" feature?
-
Just got in from work, I'd be up for a few games at around 10PM though if anyone's still about, just going to go eat but I'll be around soon.
-
You're very welcome Glen. Don't forget that you'll have a Micro SD card on the way as well. (thanks to @Aneres11 for that) Feel free to get whatever accessories you need so that you're set up before worrying about paying me back but if you could please send me the payment sometime between now and E3 2017 (around three months from now) that'd be great. (that's not even set in stone either, just throwing a random date out there) I'm just happy to help out and I look forward to seeing you online on your new Switch, possibly for some games of Super Bomberman R at some point. : peace:

If it ends up running with parity to the other versions, I'll buy it on Switch. But if not, it may well end up being another title taking up space on the Playstation tower. Either way, the game looks good not taking into account the price difference. Though I do hope prices of multiformat games level out over time, just like the prices of other formats have now that some time has passed. Love the graphical style of this game.

Oh, can I buy it from you please.
