... Not... like... Bomberman? Does not compute.

ShopTo - http://www.shopto.net/nintendo/switch/SWSU01-super-bomberman-r No co-op mode for online but it's the multiplayer where the real action is at so don't let that put you off. I've just paid for my Shop-To copy and the Switch console and my brothers copy of Breath of the Wild for the Wii U which I managed to pre-order aggges ago for around £37.

An excellent chance to experience what used to be an exclusive game for the Sega Dreamcast. Yes, it's coming out for the PS4 and Xbox One as well but I'll likely get this for the Wii U for the possibility of being able to play it vertically on the gamepad screen by propping it up and playing it in table-top mode with a pro controller. I might as well still get some use out of the machine.

£24.99 from Nintendo Store UK... https://store.nintendo.co.uk/nintendo-switch-accessory/nintendo-switch-power-adapter/11396099.html ...but yeah, still expensive. I'm getting one purely for those times when it's just going to be used in handheld mode plus it's always handy to have a spare, you do get one in the box with the console but you're likely going to have that tethered to the Switch Dock for most of the time.

R.I.P. Bill Paxton This sucks so much, the guy was a legend and the ultimate badass. I don't want to be the one to tell my brother, he's a huge fan of him and Aliens in general and will surely be gutted to hear about this.
-
I've backed it without hesitation! What a find, thanks for posting it Ashley as it looks like an incredible title. I went with the €50 digital set.

Yes, day 1, for certain! *lock it in... Booom!* :awesome: I'm buying it because I love Bomberman and want more of these games made in the future. Heck, it's that great to see another console entry on a Nintendo platform that I'll likely volunteer to review it for launch if we don't get review code for it. : peace: Either way, I intend to play it... a lot.
-
I'm not gonna lie, I'm actually pretty excited at being able to buy a physical version of the game for Switch (hopefully) and it being the first platform I'll experience the game on finally.

n-europe Presents VC Weekly #396 Breath of Fire Breath of Fire II Breath of Fire eh?... ...you should really get that checked out. Check inside for the verdicts. Enjoy! : peace:

April? That's fine. It's not as if April is going to be a busy month for game releases... ...oh wait. Nah, it's still cool. :p I wish you all the best in your house Switch saving endeavours.

No worries, I knew it was first come-first served and besides you're doing a good deed yourself so all is well. I appreciate you taking the time to do this, if any more do come up before March then please do let me know and I'll send you the payment on behalf of @Glen\-i providing he's cool with that. It's definitely a good move to get micro SD cards sorted before launch I reckon, I went with a 200GB one myself but only because I was able to get it for just over £50 which seemed a good deal at the time, I could have done with 256GB but... the price difference just wasn't worth it and I only really wanted 200GB because of all the wealth of VC games we're going to be getting on the Switch... ...r-right Nintendo? Come on, I'm putting a lot of faith into speculative amounts of storage here, so I'm hoping you'll be throwing us a fair few new VC titles.
-
Trustworthy? Absolutely! Heck, that Ambassador New 3DS was around £150 or so wasn't it? No problems at all and I really appreciated you helping me get one at the time as it allowed me to write that feature for the site. Well if it's cool with you then I could just send £21.56 directly to Aneres11 via PayPal seeing as I've sent money to him before, then he could send the card to you and you could just send me the money (or equivalent eShop credit) at a later date as we've also had dealings before and I trust everyone involved so the offer is there if you like and if that's cool with Aneres as well? : peace: Edit - potentially the cards may well be sold now but the offer still stands if Aneres manages to get any more for that price, or indeed if you're really stuck for one I could probably get you one for around the same price for before launch.

You can now register your Nintendo Account User ID for use on the Switch apparently... https://accounts.nintendo.com/login?post_login_redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Faccounts.nintendo.com%2F I didn't know if this was common knowledge yet - maybe it's day old news - so just thought I'd spread the word. I just went with "metal-mutiny" for mine as it has served me well thus far, plus I didn't want anyone else to take it, not that they would but whatever. : peace:

On the one hand, at least it isn't false advertising! :p But on the other hand, it is pretty disappointing. I'd use it more if I had access to more colours and if the majority of the software wasn't locked behind a paywall.

Easy Allies * * * * * Review I can't wait for it personally... ...well I suppose I can, another exclusive for the backlog. But it does look pretty good. : peace:
-
I watched that Nintendo Minute video with sound for a whole thirty seconds... ...it may well have caused some permanent damage. As for Snipperclips though, I think it looks like a fun, entertaining and innovative title which I'll certainly consider picking up on the eShop at some point.
-
Oh and one more thing... ...a 200GB micro SDXC card. Plus Super Bomberman R of course I'm taking no chances.
-
My plan is still the same... ...buy everything! regret NOTHING! :p

It has taken a while to build up, a lot of it from the past fifteen years or so and while I've purchased many of the games and merchandise from new it's only really within the past few years that I've really thought about properly preserving it all, plus having the games there ready to play so that I may have a hope of clearing my backlog someday. : peace: That is indeed a Lloyd figure, all the other characters are there too, well the ones which make up this set anyway, the crazy thing is, I just checked and I only paid around £20 for the set many years ago but it'd be tricky to get that set again for anything like that now so I count myself lucky that I got the set when I did; the same goes for the console keychains as well. With the Switch I really want to build up a comprehensive collection of really fantastic games for the machine, so I figured I'd need a decent space to dedicate to them. Though I did buy a few Wii U games, I never really got the same sense of pride that came from seeing a whole row of titles - just like with the Wii - not like with GameCube games or 3DS titles but the Switch seems to be a return to having excellent box design to go with a hopefully excellent console which should see some really excellent games and I just can't wait to be part of it from the start.

Here it is... My Switch Shelf™ While I'm still busy sorting out my game room, I have now finished the shelf where my Switch games will be going. I purchased some white cube storage shelves at a bargain price which come in three sizes, the middle of which seems just the right height for Switch titles. So clockwise from top-left there's the top shelf which is backed with red card, with a Switch coaster fixed to the middle with a Switch pin badge between the top and bottom shelves. Then on top of that shelf I've got a display of videogame merchandise which I'd already assembled before but it just looks better as part of this display I feel. So there's an almost complete set of mini-console keychains which I've had for just over a decade with the one on the end being an N64 clock keychain but, close enough. :p Mario Kart 64 gacha set behind those with some blue Pikmin, with my Tales of Symphonia figure set right at the back which I adore as I was obsessed with the game at one point. Then you can see nearly the whole shelf from an angle which shows the Switch lanyard that I have attached to the N64 keychain so that it runs the whole legnth of the shelf. There's an Xbox shelf which is much smaller to the left with two Phantasy Star figures on top. You can also see about half of my boxed GameBoy/Colour/Advance games which have recently been sorted - more pictures of those another time - and finally you can see the box that the Switch badge came in on the bottom shelf. Yes that is a Nintendogs Plush toy pug which I've had since the launch of the games, he's called Corruption and his job is to guard my GameCube memory cards. Two weeks to go! : peace:

Ah yeah... I watched it soon after you posted, really enjoyed it, I just didn't say at the time but yes I thought it was pretty good. I agree with the games and I like the style of the video, just need to make the mic a bit clearer/louder and it'd be even better. Really liked all of your above videos as well @Hogge plus your Switch video was appreciated as well I might add. Seeing all of this is really making me want to start properly using my game capture device and having a go as well, so much to do though but I may have a crack at it some day.

You're most welcome And a bit of both really :p I used to write code back in the Amstrad 6128+ days so (early 90's) so I understand the basic processes behind it all being essentially to send sets of instructions and processes but I've never coded since, well aside from HTML of course. Regarding your game, I understand the core concept but I think I must be either doing something wrong or I keep breaking it somehow... I seem to get into a dialogue box, advance it with Enter and then not be able to do anything, perhaps it's my PC - I've had troubles with Unity based software before such as the Yooka-Laylee demo until recently - or me not understanding what I can or can't do, it's a shame as well because I really want to play it some more but I haven't managed to advance past the tutorial. But yeah, making games without coding seems like that could be the way forward for me, so I've got that site bookmarked and I'll have a play around with it soon. : peace: We may end up needing a general "Game Making" thread soon I reckon, not meaning to de-rail your thread but then again it does still come back to the original question because in these cases, I probably don't know what I'm doing... yet.

Excellent, this only adds further enthusiasm for the games release. It's a bare-bones story which plays on the series history, is tongue-in-cheek and plays off the different personalities of the different Bombermen (and Bomberwomen) whereas in-game it will just be business as usual; blowing stuff up presumably. Also...

Not only hundreds, for me it would be thousands of hours with all that added content plus online. Even if, for arguments sake the Switch only lasted five years then I'd likely play an upgraded version of Phantasy Star Online for an hour nearly every day, if not more so that's at least about 2000 hours there for me I'd say. : peace: Anyway, it's nice to dream.
