  1. Brah, you goof'd by playing Season Two first. It's fine to play it, in the sense that there's a lot of standalone characters that only appear in Season Two. Buuuuut, there's a fair amount of references to Season One and the whole character development of Clementine is set up lovely in the first season. Seriously, I'd go back and do Season One and then try two again after that. Or, just do season One. It's so, so good. Much better than the second, in my opinion.
  2. The Witcher 3 has officially ruined videogames for me. I think I made a huuuuuge mistake playing Arkham Knight so soon afterwards. It just couldn't compete. I don't know how I'm going to play another Zelda without thinking, "Yup, Witcher did that better...and that...and that...and it's got full voice acting." We bought the Hearts of Stone physical edition with the Gwent Cards. It's fucking hnnnggggggggg. I haven't started the expansion yet as I actually want to experience life before I jump back in. @Eenuh didn't give a shit and she started the expansion straight after the main game.
  3. We've started playing this and it's already testing our nerves. Well...@Eenuh's mainly. There's tons of jumpscares in this. Enjoying it, so far. It has a real high quality feel to it. I'm a fan of these teen slasher films, they're good throwaway entertainment. They've managed to capture that perfectly in this. We've already had a few moments where we've said, "hmm, I wonder if this happened as a result of that choice we made earlier?" I can definitely see the replay value in this.
  4. Yeah, I remember trying the game at a demo pod somewhere and encountered a loading screen which easily went over the 60 second mark. I left it after that.
  5. *continues to wait for Lego City WiiU price drop*
  6. If you're more in the mood to play Fallout, then do that first. Come back to The Witcher later when you're ready to get your angus destroyed. Both games are meant to be massive, I couldn't do both at the same time.
  7. @lostmario, I've noticed that you're playing The Walking Dead season two. Have you played Season One?
  8. Graphically, I'd say the Witcher is better than all of those, but I don't know how many others would agree or disagree. Certainly in terms of landscapes, trees, sunsets, etc, the Witcher wins. The game is an epic. You can't properly judge the story after just a few minutes, especially as it's a game that HEAVILY focuses on side-stories and characters that you won't even have knowledge of yet. This is one that is definitely worth sticking with, in my opinion. You've done the equivalent of deciding you don't like Disneyland by getting into the car park, turning around and going home.
  9. How much have you actually played? How far into it are you?
  10. It could be, but apparently there's something going around linking this to recent airstrikes (in Syria, I think), so that may the link. What you're saying also fits, though. It's an attack on the Western Lifestyle, which explains why a restaurant, music and sporting venue were all targeted. It's really sad to see how France is on lockdown right now. The Eiffel Tower is closed. There's queues of people outside hospitals who are waiting to give blood, tons of people offering to give others shelter and taxi drivers were giving people free lifts yesterday to get them across the city. It's amazing to see how people have pulled together, which defines the human spirit.
  11. I'm still plugging away watching it on More4. Thought the last two or three episodes in particular have been excellent. They've managed to somehow make it just as tense (even more so at times) as the first season. Can't wait to hear the Mogwai soundtrack in full:
  12. ISIS have claimed responsibility for the attacks. The attacks were planned and carried out by 8 gunmen/bombers and is said to be the worst attack in Europe since the Madrid bombings. There's going to be major concerns now for next year due to France hosting the European Championships next year. Security is going to be absolutely water-tight for that.
  13. Horrible, horrible news. About 100 people have died in the Bataclan Concert Hall as a result of the attack tonight. Reports of grenades and explosives being thrown/used as the police stormed the Hall.
  14. The hostage siege is said to be over, but no details have been reported just yet aside from that.
  15. *Waits patiently for @kav82 to try Bloodborne* God, that game was a rollercoaster of emotion for me. Fucking hard at the beginning.
  16. - France has closed its borders - At least 40 dead in multiple shootings across Paris - Dozens more are injured, numbers are set to rise - Several people killed in suicide bomb blasts at the Stade de France - 100 hostages said to be taken at the Bataclan Arts Centre.
  17. That "Would be more convenient for me" line pisses me off. Would have replied with something like "well, it would have been more convenient for me if you had TURNED THE FUUUUUCKKK UPPPP ON TIIIIIIMMMMEEEEE" or summut.
  18. So, she's at home (at the time of her message), forgot and is going somewhere else later. Was it a date? Or just two friends meeting up? I wouldn't waste my time, tbh. She didn't even say sorry...
  19. Play The Witcher 3.
  20. I've not listened to the song since then. Might give it a try and see how it sounds now!

  21. Turned out to be a good weekend for United. 3 points and the teams around us not really getting full points. I thought we completely dominated yesterday, but teams are now just going to sit back and hope to beat us one-nil from a corner or freekick. Everybody knows that we are strong in midfield now, so they'll just soak up our pressure. We need to be far more clinical in front of goal. (also Herrera should be starting more games) Not surprised at the Arsenal-Spurs score. Thought Spurs could hold on, but Arsenal have the ability to snatch goals. There's still a definite barrier there that separates the top teams with teams such as Spurs and Everton. They don't quite have that ability to get over the line when struggling. A big opportunity for Spurs today to make a statement by getting three points, that really would have made things interesting.
  22. Neither do health packs. Why would you find a health pack in an underground cave, or in the middle of a jungle, or on top of a desk in a lab, for example? The concept of them doesn't make sense either. But, from a gameplay perspective, regenerative health works. It gives the user a prompt that you're close to being killed. So, you either find cover and time to recover or you die. Imagine how frustrating it would be if you've just made it through a really difficult section and die because you couldn't find a health pack around (there's none around). It makes the game less frustrating so that you can concentrate on the more fun things, such as exploring, adventuring, gunplay, uncovering more of the story, etc.
  23. Defensively, we look quite good. Best we've looked in a while. Midfield also looks tight and it's been a long time since we've had a midfield that looks this solid. Teams will find it hard to break us down because we're much tighter. But, the problem is that we don't create enough chances and we don't have enough quality to put the chances away. We're just not ruthless enough, at least not yet. If we get to the 70th minute and we haven't scored, I'll be bricking it.
  24. Wouldn't surprise me if that's what it turns out to be. But, we're due a big performance. Could see us going out to prove a point by thrashing them. Desperately need more goalscorers. Depay needs to step up and start scoring.
