Coincidentally I attended an IAMX concert last night (see the "How was your day?" thread) They have a very dedicated fan base but outside of that they aren't very well known, which is sad...

Went so see IAMX last night. One of the best concerts I've ever been to. The engery was incredible. Sweaty, dirty, dark and beautiful. It's sad that they don't get more attention.

Her voice always gives me goosebumps.

I've changed my diet quite a bit in the past few weeks. I regularly eat vegetables and meat (mostly chicken) and use Shirataki noodles as a substitute for "regular" pasta. Occasionally, I eat rice and "regular" pasta, though as I need that deliciousness I don't drink any kinds of juices anymore. Reduces my sugar/calorie intake my soooo much. Water and tea is all there is (except alcohol on certain occasions). Managed to lose 5 kg in 5 months. Definitely not the greatest pace but it's something

If the guy is @dazzybee I'd be worried of all the places the controller might have been while he was playing Bayonetta and trying to make it rumble...

Can't wait when I'm back home later today and finally give this a proper session. By the way: I found out that beating a boss without getting hit gives you something really helpful.

With my first relationship it was me who ended it. So it wasn't really a matter of "getting over her". My second relationship lastet for 2 1/2 years and then she broke up with me. It was tough...took me almost 3 months to get over this because I was madly in love... After that I had nothing going on for almost two years. Not because I didn't find one but rather because I didn't want to. Did I ever found better than the person I was in love with for 2 1/2 years? Yes, and right now the lady I am in a relationship with makes me happier than I have ever been. This is so true. After that break up, after I had gotten over it I tried to figure out if who I really am. Something that I've never really done until then...no idea why. When I found out what my "true self" is like (sounds really pretentious) I realized that the person I was in love with for 2 1/2 years wasn't really the right one. We didn't have that much in common and I held back a lot of craziness I have in me just so I wasn't too different from her, just so I "fit" into the relationship. Now that craziness is a part of me that I don't hold back And the lady I am in a relationship now loves it. And I love it, too.

Well, I got over Charmander very quickly...he just wasn't the right one for me. And then I met Squirtle. Definitely a better partner.

There has also been the talk of simply putting this formula on a home console. However, this "shouldn't be done" because it would remove the portable aspect, which is something a lot of people here don't agree with. This is far from being an issue about two sides talking about different things.

I may have misunderstood your usage of "unlocking". When you first start the game you have a limited weapon/item pool, meaning you can only find those in chests. Later you get the ability to unlock more which then are added to the item pool. Finding items in chests doesn't "unlock" them, it just means you can use them for the run.

Never said it was simple. Everything has limits, I'm not an idiot. I just said that they'd do their best...and even if there will be a portion of all the events that may not be perfect, the rest will be great. I have no idea how you can be so stubborn and not be even a little open-minded about a new/different approach to a Pokémon game. Especially because it was you who said that people are so resistant to change and different stuff.

But those who'd create an event for the Pokémon game that @kav82 envisioned will do their best to provide sufficient access to internet.

That's certain rogue-likes for you :p You unlock guns to add them to the item pool. You can then find them in chests or after bosses. If you were able to choose a strong gun from the beginning the first one or two floors would be waaayy to easy. That's what the game is about: You start with a "crappy" gun, have the possibility to find better guns/items and if you do you might be able to defeat enemies in no time. However, there's also the possibility that you only find shitty items (which is not that likely, but can happen)...then it's up to you to prove that you can survive. It's thrilling. At least for me :p

A new Pokémon that literally the whole gaming community wants would be different to Stadium. It could be an MMORP or an openworld RPG with online elements. I could be sitting at home, see someone online and battle right there and then. Add in voice chat and there's a social element.

No one said all the future Pokémon games will be on home consoles. ONE game would be enough.

They'll probably like "Uh a home console Pokémon, I will stop attending those events that I enjoy so much". :p
