It seems like there's an actual end... And I have no idea how to reach it Gotta figure out a few things, assign good talents/skills and see if I can find and reach it! By the way: I clocked in 6 hours with this game yesterday... I'll try to find some time for Voidigo today

Yeah, it plays very well. Simple, yet effective controls! Anyways, I'm doing another run of (the) Gnorp Apologue: It's beautiful!

DO IT!

30 minutes in, 3 levels done. What a wonderful platformer. Pretty straightforward so far, but the trailer shows it'll become much more elaborate If you want to go for 100% completion, it seems like you need to get an S-Rank on each level: one for not dying and one for collecting all origami cranes. And yes, this is exactly what I will be doing 2 out of 3 get my stamp of approval!

Did I spend 2 hours today playing this game immediately after I bought it? I sure did. It's a pretty great incremental/idle/clicker game that you actually kind of need to play There's a Prestige system in place which lets you reset your entire progress after a while and unlock talents/abilities/more stuff. Works great on Steam Deck! Probably the best of the genre I've ever played - that doesn't say much, though, as I basically only played Vostok Inc. (and some of the very early browser clicker games). 1 out of the 3 games I bought today rocks. So far, so good

... Oops But my Steam Deck needed those. I couldn't just say no.

Absolutely incredible game. Won 3 runs so far on the first board. I'm addicted. 18+ rating incoming.

Perfect representation of the rest of the world...

Rematch - football meets Sifu meets Rocket League (Summer 2025)
drahkon replied to Julius's topic in Other Consoles
I've played Sifu for a bit and my first thought was: "Yeah, those devs will definitely make a football game next!" What the fuck? This does look cool, though.- 1 reply

Yeah...had that experience last year. A mate said: "hey, maybe sounding will be your new kink." I can, with 100% certainty, say: No, it won't! Oh boy, hope you'll feel better soon

Fortnite being on there does surprise me a little. There were quite a few gaming lulls for me, and I guess I wanted to just play a game with some friends. So? 965 hours or 900 hours? Yup, my trophy hunting days are over I guess 965 hours then. It's been a quiet gaming year for me compared to 2022 and 2023. But more on that later

The 2024 Events Thread – La Li Lu Le Lo and Behold, E3 is Dead

Even if I stayed up this late these days, I'd much rather play video games than watch that prick on stage -
Spent the last three hours playing with a mate who bought the game today. My character was scaled down a lot so we were on equal footing and it was a blast doing quests together. Granted, I didn't get any exp or noticeable loot, but the game is fun nonetheless. For Early Access/Beta this is incredible. And I haven't even scratched the surface.

It's here! And as every year, it's broken

Watched a few episodes now that I have one free month of Apple TV. It's great. Very intriguing. Also started Severance again. I want a friend to watch it, but we still need to get through the first episode. She is very interested, though. We definitely need to find some time to watch more. I can't get enough of that show

I dropped the second book about 1/3 through. It's not bad, but I just wasn't that into it. It's basically more world-building, which is nicely done and it's obvious that it's necessary, but I was looking for something a little more engaging at the time. Will definitely go back to it, though. After I'm done with The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. Read the first chapter and ohh boy is it an interesting ride. It gets going literally with the first sentence. Can't wait to see what it has in store. My first foray into Kafka's work. Also bought The Process and I'm looking forward to reading it!

Indeed I am I'm talking about Path of Exile 2, the game that will redefine the ARPG genre. MARK MY WORDS

After a lengthy farming session with just the hero and one of my party members, I now have someone with Critical Claim. Liquid Metal Slimes, you're going down!

I fully understand why GGG wanted to keep PoE 1 and 2 separate games. They play very differently (at least in the early stages). It's all very deliberate with the second installment. It kinda feels like - and I hate throwing this term around, but... - a Souls game. I'm getting my ass handed to me by a boss and it's all my fault. Usually with ARPGs, now would the time to level up and/or farm some gear. And while that's definitely an option, too, it's also very clear that I can beat that boss without doing any of that. It's simply a matter of "git gud" Thoroughly enjoying my time with this and very happy that I dished out money for the early access (which also grants some currency for future stash tab sales, which are important if you wanna play the game for a long time - and I intend to do that ).
