Well...the time has come for me to give Persona 4 Golden another go. Thankfully, I don't remember much from the last time I've played it so it's basically a new experience for me. Can't even remember when I stopped playing. Have spent 3 hours with this yesterday and today. It's great so far. Quite difficult, but that's probably because I'm playing on hard. Since I intend to finish the game this time it means that I probably won't play anything else for the time being (except my long-term playthroughs). Limbo, however, I will finish in the next few days I may get Android Assault Cactus tomorrow, but not sure. Been looking forward to it for quite some time...

The lady bought a Vita And I got her Crypt of the Necrodancer. Now she's playing...and I don't get any attention. Great...

You never asked until now :p

It really is. I'm waiting for the long overdue patch on PlayStation systems, though. Slowdown on vita can be annoying, and there are several bugs I have encountered. The worst, however, is that when you pause the game the highlighted option is "Quit", so when you press X to continue (as it is the case with basically any other game) you quit This has ended so many runs...

I finally gave Limbo a chance. Started an hour ago and couldn't put it down Its atmosphere is incredible, the presentation perfect. It is also surprisingly brutal and sad at times... Apparently I'm already halfway through, according to the chapter select screen, so I'll stop playing this for today. Will finish it sometime next week. : peace: Already looking forward to it.

Multitasking is one thing, but continuously turning around in a hectic battle doesn't seem like fun. It just sounds like a hassle. A real pilot doesn't look back and forth during flight...a real pilot would look at a radar screen either just below the front window or the front window displays data itself :p
-
But you could do that with a rear view that is displayed on the TV and analogue sticks. If I'm sitting down I don't want to stand up to be able to turn around properly (and quickly). And - correct me if I'm wrong - but when I turn around with my gamepad to shoot enemies behind me, I won't be able to see the TV, meaning I won't be able to properly move during the shooting? Sorry, I haven't watched a recent gameplay video or anything.

[quote name=Aneres11;1799815 Is there a way to touch the touch pad to register it? I have tried everything! The touch pad on the front is mapped to the screen' date=' and works perfectly but cannot get the rear touch pad controls to work?[/quote] Are you playing the game via remote play? If so, it's possible that nothing's mapped to the rear touch pad. You can check the controls by pressing and holding the Vita Home Button (or whatever it's called) and then going to Button Guide (or something like that ). If it's a Vita game...then no idea. I had trouble at first using the rear touch pad. Couldn't reach the thing I just had to adjust my grip and then it worked.

You should expand your PS4-games horizon.

When you're down, you can crawl along the ground and be revived. Being KO means being dead. Occurs when you decide to respawn or when an enemy finishes you off while you're down. Deaths indicates how many times you've been KO. Edit: Reading that makes me realize that this might make things more confusing Downs = enemies you've put into the "down-state" explained above KOs = kills Deaths = your own KOs

A simple "no" would've sufficed

But if some random programmer can make emulation work this good on PSP, PC, heck, even smartphones, shouldn't a company like Nintendo be able to do a much better job?
-
Managed to play one match. It's fucking amazing. I played quite well, too

Beta has been up for 45 minutes. Haven't been able to connect once. Happens to a lot of people. Well, Naughty Dog now knows that they need more/better servers. Hope they work on that until the release.

Nope. Tested it twice. First video: (time after "upload" has been pressed while having the video selected until you can choose the platform you wish to upload to) 1) 11.9 seconds 2) 13.3 seconds Second video while first one was uploading: 1) 34.5 seconds 2) 37.7 seconds So yeah, about 12 seconds and 36 seconds...

Online notifications for friends are great. The PS4 OS is pretty much perfect now/as soon as 3.50 is out of the beta. I disabled all notifications except the online notification for a mate I play CoD Black Ops III with. I've played CoD this morning before work. When I had to leave I put the PS4 into rest mode. Came back home, pushed the PS button on my DS4, 3 seconds later I was ingame, 30 seconds later I was in a match. A couple of minutes pass: I see the online notification for my mate. Invited him to a party, he started the game and 45 seconds later we both were in a match. Everything is so smooth and quick. I love it.

So you have to alternate between looking at the TV and the Gamepad? If so, that's horrible. With the right button configuration it would be doable. Take a look at CoD Black Ops III for example. Standard controls: X - jump, L1 - tactical grenade, L3 - Melee attack, Circle - crouch/slide; with this, when you jump/slide (crucial movements in this game) you have to take your right thumb away from the stick, meaning you can't aim during those movements Alternate controls: X - tactical grenade, L1 - jump, L3 - crouch/slide, circle - melee; here you can do all the movements while aiming and it works great; for grenades and melee attacks you don't have to aim, as you generally use those while you're already having you target in sight What I'm getting at - mind you, I don't know what incredibly complex movements and actions StarFox might have - I think with the right configuration everything can be done without the gamepad. As for the second screen for aiming behind you: Just have a smaller portion of the display on the TV reserved for a rear view

And there'd be nothing wrong with that. in fact, it would be freaking amazing. It's what every body wanted, just like @dazzybee said. I doubt motion controls add anything special or good to this game...
-
Will be interesting to see how this will work. I can't think of a scenario where motions controls area necessary to complete levels.
-
If they do this I will never by their new console. Having to pay again for VC games I bought for my Wii just to play them on my Wii U was (still is) ridiculous. They need to sort this out. They should've sorted this out quite some time ago actually... Anyway, the direct itself didn't do anything for me.

Wow. That is total bullshit. What about Germany? We don't have GAME here...
-
Yes, we're cute. Sometimes. You say you jest...:p By the way, did I know you are gay? Well, now I know. Not sure why I'm writing this. I'm bored. Anyway, the lady has found an "original" Vita (the one with an OLED screen) for 90€ (comes with a 4GB memory card). She'll probably pick it up sometime next week (if she doesn't change her mind). Oh my, it begins.
-
Why not give us the option to turn motion-controls off. I don't understand this...
-
Ok, that limited edition changed my mind...for this beautiful game I need that art book. So just like @Ashley I'll wait for Amazon to have the LE ready to pre-order.
-
Not sure if I'll put a pre-order down. My hype is gone and will most likely not come back.
