  1. I haven't even watched that trailer or read anything about the game. I know nothing Pre-ordered the game a couple of days ago and according to Amazon.de it was out of stock so it should've originally arrived in March... However, I just got an email saying it has been dispatched and is here tomorrow... I need to finish The Wolf Among Us today so I can play This War of Mine and Divinity: Original Sin : peace: Anybody else already got this?
  2. Well, this will get me back to the game
  3. Here's a run of Zone 1 I had today. Not very successful, but it might give you a bit more insight to what this game is all about
  4. @Hero\-of\-Time You forgot to put this gem on the list for February:
  5. Get Crypt of the Necrodancer instead. :p DO IT.
  6. I've put GTA: Vice City on hold, for the reasons I've mentioned in an earlier post. Started Crypt of the Necrodancer on PS4/Vita. First thoughts are in the dedicated thread. The Platinum will be very difficult... Divinity: Original Sin arrived today. Just wanted to give it a quick go...it ended with me creating my characters for 1 hour and spending another hour with the first area...fuck me, this game looks to be incredible. As soon as I'm done with The Wolf Among Us (finished Chapter 2 just now; I like it, but not sure where the story will go...which sounds like a good thing, but I'm not sure if it is a good thing; I'm a bit worried that the story won't be as interesting as it could've been) I'll focus on Divinity: Original Sin.
  7. This is provocation. This is what you should've just said. By the way: Aren't you one of those who complain that people always bring up the PS4 here?
  8. March is nothing to sneeze at, as well. Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls Collection Alienation The Division Republique And then comes April... Dark Souls 3 Ratched & Clank and of course Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
  9. I know, I know...I'm annoying. :p But this game is the TITS. It was released yesterday evening and I bought it instantly. I'm currently at my girlfriend's. I've started the game 2 hours ago...she played the tutorial...she played some more...and I have played once...once One of the few "new" games that she likes. Can't wait to play co-op mode with her on the PS4 : peace: It's amazing. For those of you who don't know what this game is about: it's a rythm-based-roguelike-dungeon-crawler. You can only move to the beat. Well, to be more precise: you can't do anything off-beat, not even use an item. The arrow buttons are for movement, L is for placing bombs and you can pick up items/scrolls/magic which you can use with other buttons. There are secret areas, shops, traps, cool enemies, chests, and much more... We've managed to reach the first boss but failed miserably Oh, it's gonna be a long night
  10. This is out tomorrow. Hoping for it to show up on midnight, but not holding my breath. Pretty sure I will be the only one here posting in this thread/playing the game Listening to the soundtrack on Spotify as I'm typing this. It's glorious Edit: Nevermind -.- [tweet]693105842573307904[/tweet]
  11. Wow, there are other people besides me who like Star Fox Adventures?
  12. Still doing my body-weight-workout almost everyday Noticed some progress. I can now do 3 sets with 6 reps of wide-grip push ups. 2 months ago I couldn't do 1 set with 5...I find them much more difficult than normal push-ups. My goal is to be able to do a push-up-only workout in two or three months (4-5 different push-up excercises). (long term goal: one-handed push-ups). I also do at least one abs-only-workout per week. Need to do more for my legs, though. Think I'll try to find some excercises for a legs-core-workout. (long term goal: pistol squads)
  13. With January at its end, it's time to award my GOTM - sponsored by @Hero\-of\-Time. Thinking about all the games I've finished it comes down to a three-way-fight: Transistor (PS4) Its presentation alone is incredible. The art-style is lovely, the music is awesome and the gameplay puts a fresh twist on turn-based combat. I'm glad I finally finished it and enjoyed every minute. Life is Strange (PS4) An emotional journey. Great story, cool characters (albeit sometimes a bit too cliché with occasional cringe-worthy lines) and good use of music. Tearaway (PSVita) One of the finest, most creative platformers I've ver played. So much effort has been put into making the Vita's different functions part of the gameplay. And everything works perfectly. After the recent uncreative and disappointing Mario-games this was such a refreshing platformer. And the winner is:
  14. Never had a problem with the brush strokes. Well, I still stand by what I said. 3D Zeldas (except OoT) don't even come close to Okami.
  15. Ah I see, that's a different thing then. Sounds like a cool event.
  16. YEEES. European Champions. :yay: Our national handball team did it. : peace: Wonderful game, we deserved that win and we deserved to be the champions. Great weekend. First Angelique Kerber now the handball team.
  17. Ohhhh play it. NOW :p For me, it's better than any 3D-Zelda game except OoT.
  18. Finished and platinumed (I love how this has become a verb to a lot of people ) Dust: An Elysian Tale. @Hero\-of\-Time, you were right, it's a brilliant game. Cool gameplay, great presentation, good story, lovely art-style. Such a joy to play and complete this gem : peace: I've started The Wolf Among Us on PS4 today. Did the first chapter and I'm hooked. I intend to complete this by the end of the week. I'm slowly coming to the realisation that GTA: Vice City may be there for a long time. After the initial nostalgia has worn off I can only manage to play this for 1 hour straight, max. Not to say I don't enjoy it or it's a bad game, it's just not it right now. I've ordered Divinity: Original Sin on PS4 from Amazon.de. Cost me 29.99€ (it's 33.97€ now, for some odd reason). Had this on my radar for a long time and for this price...I just had to go for it. And This War of Mine: The Little Ones (also for PS4) is 19.99€ on Amazon.de (not sure why, though...it's 29.99€ everywhere else). Not in stock, but I've ordered it anyway. Should be here next month. These two and Crypt of The Necrodancer on Tuesday will quite possibly be my only gaming purchases until Uncharted 4. Unless The Binding of Isaac: Afterbith gets a PS4 release soon...
  19. What is this, Devil Gear Fantasy? I FUCKING LOVE IT. A release date to announce the release date...I don't understand this.
  20. Beta is live. Done one side-mission and the only available main-mission. It's good fun. Nothing spectecular, though. Lots of stuff not available in the beta, which is a shame...wanted to have just a little bit more flexibility. I will play this a bit more over the weekend. Definitely wanna go into the Dark Zone. As it stands right now, I won't jump on board early on. But I'll keep an eye on it. Edit: Deleted the beta. It just isn't fun. The gameplay (i.e. the game being a cover-shooter) isn't good enough. It somehow doesn't really work here. Can't point my finger on exactly why I think so, though...
  21. Shame, you're missing out on one of the greatest stories in gaming history
  22. You should give 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors (and after that Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward). Exceptional characters and story with some great puzzles (seriously...the puzzles are amazing). I didn't like the idea of visual novels at first but those two games convinced me that they can be good. Made progress with GTA: Vice City last night. Finished some story missions. Oh the nostalgia is sooo real This game blew me away 14 years ago. An open world to wreck havoc in? The future is now. I wish Rockstar would develop singleplayer content for GTA V...but they are all "GTA Online is where it's at" now The Division Beta will start in a couple of hours. Will give this a go then.
  23. Made progress with that trophy in GTA: Vice City. Collected 80 packages and now the rubberband-grind is continuing. Should be done in 1-2 hours. : peace: After that I'll collect the remaining packages and then it's time to do the story Edit: Aaaaand I got it. Now I can enjoy the game Made some progress with Rogue Legacy that I started again at work today while waiting for some enzymes to finish their duty Man, this one trophy (beat the game with 15 deaths or less without using the architect) is one of the most difficult - if not the most difficult - trophies I've ever tried to get... I beat 3 bosses and have only died 6 times. One more boss to unlock the final battle... Edit: Beat the 4th boss. Final boss unlocked. Need to die one or two more times to upgrade, but should be ready to finish it off after that. : peace: Another Edit: GOT IT. : peace: Haven't played Dust: An Elysian Tale today, yet. Might play this later for an hour or so
