  1. IGN Don't get your hopes up, Crash will never come back :p
  2. Yeah, most of the maps are great. Gauntlet is the worst of those 4, but still not bad at all As mentioned in the Gaming Diary thread I've had a 9 1/2 hours session last night (those double xp weekend has to be taken advantage of, especially since I don't have time to play later today and tomorrow) Managed to get my global K/D from 0.65 to 0.99. Apparently I got a lot better My best match yesterday (and probably ever) was 20/3 on combine. I just wrecked everyone.
  3. I have just finished a 9 1/2 hours session of Call of Duty: Black Ops III with a mate. So many laughs have been had Thank god for voice chat I'm tired as fuck now and my brain has started to melt. Good night
  4. I love the music/sound design. The switch between ice and fire. :awesome: And that missing beat in the boss fight...fucks me up every single time Still haven't beaten the final Zone...
  5. Pre-order the game via the PSN store and gain access to the beta this weekend. You can cancel the pre-order immediately. I did it myself and am downloading the beta client right now I read somewhere that each episode will have a MGS: Ground Zeroes-amount of freedom and dynamic. That would be fucking incredible.
  6. That's what I'm not sure about...I don't know if I'll play the game this much when the next DLCs come out. If I do the season pass would save me 10€. If I don't I'd save 35€ or 20€ since I'd only buy one or two DLCs. If I buy the DLCs separately and play the game this much when the 4th pack is released I would have spent 10€ more than if I bought the season pass. I think the most reasonable choice would be to buy the first DLC now and see what it's like later.
  7. Thinkin about getting the DLC. But 15€ is a lot....
  8. Sorry @kav82, I was playing with a mate. Had some great matches. I'm getting better and better. : peace:
  9. I thought about doing that, as well. I'll do it. Aaaaand done. :p
  10. In Germany it isn't...and with postage the price will generally be around 35-40€ if I import it
  11. I think I'll just lend her one of my DS4s, buy a USB cable and give her Minecraft If she plays it a lot I'll get her a controller further down the line
  12. She'd like to get used to gamepad controls, beacuse she wants to play more complicated games with me on the PS4. Didn't even think about that...apparently it doesn't have in-game controller support. But it's doable with an external program. Well, maybe I'll find a different gift Not sure if the lady can be bothered to do the required "maintenance" to keep everything running.
  13. Well, I can't really afford a much more expensive one. And I think that it's not a bad choice considering she'll probably never use it for anything else than the occasional hour of Minecraft.
  14. Don't have a preferred time. I usually just play it when I need a quick shooter-fix. Completely random I'm on my own.
  15. Should've mentioned that the controller won't be for me I was at work so I didn't have much time to elaborate. I want to buy a controller and Minecraft for my girlfriend for our anniversary. That's why I need a gamepad for PC. I won't give her my DS4 because I need that myself :p Edit: Might have found one. Link It's available at Amazon.de for 15€ and seems to be a good controller for the casual noob that my girlfriend is my wonderful girlfriend.
  16. Hope this means the first one's price will drop real soon
  17. As the title says I'm looking for a gamepad with the following: preferably a similar layout to the DS4 (button and control sticks) bluetooth optional (usb-cable would be ok) not too pricey (max would be 15-20€, doubt something in that price range exists, but I can try ) Windows 10 compatible (do you even ask for compatibility anymore?) If anybody has experience with a good and cheap gamepad, let me know.
  18. Happy Birthday
  19. Made a tiny bit of progress with Divinity: Original Sin. Finished the optional tutorial dungeon. Took me 45 minutes, even though its pretty straight forward with only two fights... Tactician Mode requires a lot of thought. I love it Started This War of Mine: The Little Ones. You can read my first impressions/experiences in the dedicated thread. I'll start this up again once I'm done with this post. : peace: And finally...Crypt of the Necrodancer. Jesus Christ this game is difficult It took me about 10 hours to finish the first three zones. One zone left... But... Let me give a quick rundown about how the game modes work: You can do each zone by itself. I.e. complete Zone 1 and the run is over. This is how you unlock the other zones. You can buy items/upgrades which are then available in shops/chests during your single zone runs. Then there is All Zones Mode, which is self-explanatory. However, you start with all upgrades/items unlocked (you can find everything from the get go) but you only have 3 hearts at the start. As far as I know there are currently 10 characters in the game. I have unlocked 4 or 5. So, beating All Zones Mode with each character is something I will try to do. Aaaaaand (yes, I'm not done ) there is an All Characters Mode. Yup, basically All Zones Mode with every Character without dying at anytime... Gonna be fun
  20. Hm, sounds terrible... Will wait for reviews and impressions then.
  21. Just gave this a quick go to get used to the controls. Looks absolutely beautiful. I love the art. Will start a new game later today and see what this game is all about : peace: Edit: Wow...This War of Mine plays with your conscience. Here's a little something that happened to me: I started a new game. Three guys in a destroyed home, working together trying to survive. Figured I should build two beds, so I did that. At night I scavenged a vacant house. Next day I realised that I needed food because everyone was hungry. So that night I went to a house. It was inhabited by an elderly couple... I needed food...so I stole it The man kept following me through the house, he was unable to do something while I was raiding his home for anything edible. He kept asking me why I did that... I just rushed through the house, trying not to feel too guilty...when I thought I had what I needed I just left... The next day everyone felt sad...and so did I Now I've survived for 7 days and am on my way to the supermarket which is occupied by the military. I hope I can steal some food there...or maybe trade...and I really hope I won't get shot...
  22. Happy Birthday Ine Enjoy your day/weekend
  23. Yeah, in the evening there are rarely less than 10 people of my friends list online playing a game or using certain apps like Netflix, Spotify, etc. For me it was the other way around. I bought a Wii U after the PS4. Because I thought: "Nintendo can provide me with what I may or may not be missing." As it turned out they couldn't. I only need one machine to get my gaming fix (two if you count the Vita), because Nintendo is no longer part of my gaming needs...it's rather sad
  24. There are people who don't like Splatoon, Captain Toad and Wonderful 101 (like me). Those people want Metroid, F-Zero, Waverace, etc. No, I'm not a kid who wants everything. I want Nintendo to release new installments of my favourite games. That's why they've lost a lot of gamers (there are more reasons, of course). The WiiU has been the only gaming-related purchase that I've ever regretted. Literally nothing I've played on this system made me think: "Money well spent." I can't say for sure that it would've been different, if Nintendo released a new Zelda, Metroid, F-Zero. But with them being my favourite Nintendo IPs I'm pretty sure my opinion would be different..
  25. Well, I've finished it (The Wolf Among Us) (including getting the Platinum) and I have to say: I enjoyed it. The ending was perfect for what was happening. Really hoping there will be a second season. Now, what next? Divinity: Original Sin of course. And I'll start This War of Mine: The Little Ones soon. Those two and Crypt of the Necrodancer will probably keep me busy for months. Edit: Restarted Divinity: Original Sin. Two reasons: 1) I wanted to see what "Tactician Mode" offers compared to "Classic Mode". 2) I wanted to break away from my favourite RPG class (Rogue). Here's how that went: I chose a Mage and a Fighter. "Tactician Mode" increases enemy numbers and enemies have more abilities. Case in point: The first fight on "Classic Mode" had three enemies. Easy. "Tactician Mode": 5 Enemies, first one threw a toxic grenade at me, second one killed my Mage, and the Fighter was dead shortly after I might restart to try a different combination. Mage seems to be good without changing skills/attributes/etc. Cleric sounds interesting. Heals allies and can fight. Might change one skill, though. Ah, exactly what I've been craving for: a good old RPG that requires a lot of thought Edit²: Yeah, Cleric was a great choice. Having a skill to heal is awesome. And he's a close-range fighter. Great combination with a Mage : peace: Thinking about creating a dedicated thread where I can post more detailed information about my journey and add screenshots throughout my playthrough.
