Let's say that I assume Nintendo and the developers are capable of figuring out a way to make this not tiresome or simplify. And if they can't then I'm sure they can find a way to make this slightly different but enjoyable.

"Random encounters" is not a buzzword (or "buzzterm")? Dynamic: Have Pokémon run around the area, climb on trees, sneak through grass, swim underwater (real time fishing), fly through the air...approach a Pokémon and enter a battle, can be turn-based. Everything dynamic. Dynamic wheather, better day and night cycle, dynamic world, i.e. more lively, different people do different thigns at different times. 3DS has a limit to "large" and "more Quests", which is obvious and you know that. And I know that "larger" doesn't necessarily equal better, but in a series that has over 700 Pokémon (don't know how many there are) a bigger world with all of them in it would be ever gamer's dream.

Was about to post the same. There's no point discussing this. He dismissed all my other points and focussed on one, trying to shoot me down.

More power on home console = more possibilities to improve the world (i.e. make it larger, more dynamic, more quests, have Pokemon run around in the wild, etc.)

Ah, feels like my childhood. Come on, Nintendo. Be great again

Well, I don't dislike shoot 'em ups. It really depends on whether the game is good or not. I felt that Shutshimi is a bad shoot 'em up Or rather it's not a shoot 'em up I enjoy. Let me write shoot 'em up again. Retro visuals are optional :p Challenging/permadeath only when the gameplay is right up my sleeve. Shutshimi is just...meh Shoot 'em up! Didn't even realize it doesn't have a Platinum. *deletes from Vita* Nah, with this it's just a case of "not my thing".

Completely missed my point. Make up your mind

Well, apparently I haven't seen much of the game? Some bosses, some levels, but nothing that speaks to me. Why do you think I'd be into it? What is there?

I gave this a go for 30 minutes today...didn't enjoy it one bit.

The thing is, if people don't like motion controls then it's very unlikely that will change. Motion controls have been there for a long time and I'm pretty sure that the majority of gamers have decided whether or not they enjoy them. I don't mind "change and different stuff" but motion controls aren't part of that. Haven't been for quite some time now.

Well, I've started Enter the Gungeon on PS4. See the dedicated thread if you want to know more :p Over the weekend I've played Call of Duty: Black Ops III Multiplayer a lot. Managed to reach Prestige 8. Still loving it, can't wait for the next DLC. : peace: Made some progress with Persona 4 Golden just now. Because I rescued a certain guy on the first day I was able to focus on a lot of Social Links and other stuff. I really need to get back to Dark Cloud

There ya go. too obvious? Currently I'm only orb e forced (:p) with the games I regularly play, Spotify and the TV section (which includes Netflix and YouTube). I don't even see the media folder and all the stuff I don't need. Just as @somme said, the things you don't use disappear. And if you want to play a game that isn't on your quick selection it takes literally only 15 seconds to get it from the Library.

On its Steam page it says "full controller support". Not sure if that includes DS4 on Steam for Mac. Edit: The game's amazing Haven't been able to complete the second floor, yet, but it's a lot of fun. I need to use the dodge roll more. Managed to find a secret by accident:

I bet he can't be arsed to do that.

Everybody who knows my gaming habits probably could've guessed that I'll create this thread Played Enter the Gungeon for 15 minutes, found a crystal gun that shoots rainbow lasers, found the so called "Serious Cannon" ("The Serious Cannon was brought to the Gungeon by Sam "Serious" Stone." - quote from the Ammonomicon), died miserably and am already addicted It's basically The Binding of Isaac with guns. Shame there probably will never be a Vita version, as there's quite a lot going on during gameplay. Still, even though I've only played very little I can already tell this is going to be one hell of a ride For those of you who'd like to know a little bit more about the game, here's Northernlion's first episode of the full release (he's playing the PC version, but the PS4 version is almost the same - doesn't have a crosshair but aim assist)

Great stuff. : peace: Coincidentally I have just finished filling out the survey for the beta Yeah agree, Sony needs to step up their game. :p
-
Yeah, it could be an amazing E3 for gamers. Nintendo picking up the pace again, Sony and Microsoft delivering more and more. It could also go downhill in the two days everything gets revealed... I really hope it's going to be incredible for us
-
Ohhhh, this looks amazing. Looking forward to giving the demo a go

Hell no. Actually wanted to use "if". We use the translation for "when" when (heh) we want to use "if". So my brain just decided to use "when". Possibly the two most confusing sentences I've ever written...I hope they kinda make sense

Can't wait to hear what people say when Nintendo offers voice chat. Then it's probably like the Second Coming and the most amazing thing instead of unnecessary :p

Pre-ordered for PS4. Will play the shit out of it after the exam on Tuesday

NEShow Special Episode 2 - Zelda | Zelda | Zelda
drahkon replied to Ashley's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Another great episode Can't wait for the next. : peace: -
I bought this way back when it was released on PS3. Not using the PS3 anymore, though and I don't want to pay again for a Vita version. So I'll wait for a discount.

I freaking love turn-based battles. Can't say much about FFXV's battle system, though, as I don't know how complex it will be in the final release. In the demo it was basically limited to "attack", "dodge" and "fire-magic" (for the final battle). It played like a really toned down Devil May Cry. It was great, as you have to manage your health, time your magic and attacks while dodging the enemy. I'm hoping for a much more complex system in the full version, though. But I'm sure it'll be varied with elements, status effects, weapons, armor, summons, party management, etc. : peace:
