  1. Well, that's stupid. Possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard when it comes to online shooters.
  2. Am I understanding this correctly. You're stuck playing one (two, three?) maps for two hours until they rotate? You can't vote for maps in a lobby?
  3. That's the beauty of video games: It's all a matter of opinion. If I had been in your position I would've given up on the game very early, though.
  4. You can land and run around to regenerate stamina...you don't have to be airborne all the time. Doesn't take long, either. And health shouldn't be a problem because the boss is very easy :p
  5. Thumper is awesome, but it should definitely be played on a big screen with a nice sound system.
  6. Good to know. I'll keep that in mind.
  7. Yes. No. Yes. I don't need recovery time this long after every workout, though. Before my last workout I increased the weight 6 times in a row without getting sore muscles. I'll try to do some stretching on rest days. And I'll also try to stretch more before workouts. Anybody here got some advice/recommendations for stretching? I stumbled upon this guide and it seems like a good starting point?
  8. YES. A mate and I played through the co-op two times now (200%, of course). And we've made it more difficult for us each time. First playthrough: Choose a character you like and the strongest enemy characters (i.e. Koala Kong and Rilla Roo) and play the game on a PS1 or PS2. The game runs at its "normal" speed. Second playthrough: Choose the most useless characters, i.e. Crash and Cortex, and the strongest enemy characters. Why are Crash and Cortex useless? Because they suck at Tank Wars and and Polar Push. This was our self-proclaimed "hard mode" because Koala Kong and Rilla Roo are so fucking tough to beat in the two game modes...on a PS1 or PS2. This year - time for the final playthrough: Same as second playthrough but on an original PS3. "Ultra hard mode". Why? Because the game runs faster from time to time. N. Ballism on PS3...holy hell.
  9. Nah, I'll definitely watch a trailer.
  10. There's no way we'll see a new Sony handheld anytime in the next 10 years, if ever. They don't have to release one. They're doing very well in the console market. And right now there is no way they could compete with the Switch unless they really do create a handheld version of the PS4.
  11. That's probably the biggest issue. I was, however, also incredibly underlevelled (level 101) and my equipment isn't anything to write home about. It took about 50-60 hits until the boss died...not sure if that's a lot but it sure felt like it Can't wait to get back from work and start up Nioh : peace:
  12. I'm guessing we'll see some Warped footage at E3.
  13. I'm going Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. I'd love to do SL for quite some time before doing something else. I think it's juts a matter of letting my body adjust. So I probably need to give it the regeneration it needs.
  14. Tease it at E3, fully reveal it at TGS. A man can hope I'd give your Switch for another new Sony handheld :p
  15. There are so many games on the horizon for the PS4...I can't keep up I'd need new pants if they announced a remaster... I'm also holding on to a very tiny glimmer of hope that we'll see a PSVita 2
  16. Yup, 3 am for me. Looks like it'll be a long night yet again.
  17. I know. And squats are my favourite exercise, too. But I don't want to take breaks for 4 days...I feel that this might be too long. Is it? I can't do squats without at least 3 days of regeneration right now. But I really don't want to risk injuries while training with sore muscles. A mate is doing 5x5 Deadlifts instead of squats in Workout B. He's done it for 2 years now and recommended it. I'm still undecided.
  18. So...this game is fucking awesome! After I raided the first boss I started another run to beat him again. Some of the platforming rooms are quite difficult to get through without taking a hit. After hitting the same obstacle 5 times in a row in one room I paused the game, stared at my hands and said to myself: "Dude...what the fuck are you doing?" Still managed to finish that raid : peace: What came next? An attempt to reach the second boss. I failed quickly. The rooms became even more difficult... Love this game.
  19. Managed to beat that freaking boss :awesome: No other boss has given me that much trouble in the main game. Either I got really bad or the boss was that difficult. I'll complete the non-DLC missions on "normal" mode first now. Still haven't done all of them After that it'll be a mix of new missions and old NG+ mission. : peace:
  20. I bought the remastered editions of the first two installments recently. Played the first one for a couple hours on the PS3 but stopped for some reason. I thought it was excellent. Have to give the games another go soon.
  21. After some more time with the DLC I have to agree. My skills have declined a lot... I might play NG+ first now...
  22. It's 13.49€ on the PSN store (or the UK equivalent). I beat the first boss on my first try but it was a close call Love the movement mechanics. You move and you aim your hook with the left stick. R2 extends the hook letting you grapple around the room which makes platforming sections and combat so much fun. Your weapon also shoots in the direction you aim, which is a little odd. Having the left stick work for your shooting is something to get used to but it works. However, I'd like to see an option to make aiming your weapon possible with the right stick in a future patch. The game is very fun so far (after about 40 minutes). Could become something I'll play for a very long time, especially if the devs decide to add more levels/bosses/items later on - hopefully via free updates at first; but if the games keeps me hooked I'll gladly pay for additional content.
  23. I've reached a point at which I get sore muscles after every workout. Happened earlier than expected, to be honest. What to do? I have to have longer breaks between each workout because I don't want to risk injuries (and because it would hurt like hell) but I would like to be able to workout every 2 or three days. Should I workout whenever my muscles aren't sore and not increase the load? Another question: Anybody know a good stretching plan that's great for beginners? I am the least flexible person on earth... Very chuffed with my progress so far. Squats - 62.5kg BP - 45kg Barbell Row - 35kg OHP - 30kg DL - 65 Thinking about changing my workouts a bit. Currently doing: Workout A Squats BP Barbell Row Workout B Squats OHP DL (1x5) Would love to do 5x5 DL and replace Squats with something else in workout B. Bad idea? Good idea? Any recommendations?
  24. The first DLC boss is kicking my ass. Holy hell Spoilers, oviously:
  25. Really hope they will improve the combat. I hate it when enemies don't flinch after a hit.
