  1. PS+ games for May: Beyond: Two Souls (PS4) Rayman Legends (PS4) Risen 3: Titan Lords (PS3) Eat Them (PS3) King Oddball (PS Vita) Furmins (PS Vita) Beyond: Two Souls? Awesome! Rayman Legends is great, too. Still have the Platinum to grind for... Edit: Fuck..am I going to get a "you're too slow" gif now?
  2. Was that the moment you were talking about?
  3. Big in Japan sale now live on PSN. There are also discounts for digital games. psprices.com I'm very tempted by Zero Time Dilemma for 10 bucks and Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc for 7€ for the Vita. Maybe come payday
  4. What a game last night. Watched it with a couple of mates and we went absolutely nuts Roma won't turn it around, but it will be a good match. Tonight...the time has come for us. Will we be able to stop Madrid? To be honest...I don't think we will. But I'm happy to be proven wrong.
  5. Good lord, people I just woke up after a night drinking and dancing and had to read a million posts. Anyway, thanks guys I'm not sure how exactly I'll approach the movies, but I will try to do something. So probably nothing
  6. That was more intense than I expected... Not going to play this again. Want to explore all the choices in the full game. The demo sold me on this!
  7. Ah well...at least I have a "few" movies to watch... Yeah...better get started Maybe I'll be done in time for Infinity War's Blu-Ray release .
  8. I've seen the Iron Man movies, the first Avengers movie, the first Captain America movie, Deadpool and I think that's it. I've wanted to catch up on them for a long time, but there are so many... Maybe I will, but not anytime soon
  9. Which movies should I watch if I want to be able to follow and enjoy Infinity War? And please don't say: All the Marvel movies. There are like 800 of them...I have no time for that.
  10. You know what I hate? And this is not a rant particularly about God of War, it's a rant about every game that does it: While you're fighting against a huge or tough monster and you already have your hands full with not dying, halfway through the battle the game throws smaller enemies at you. Mostly beasts with long range attacks. Or in RPGs: The big dude always spawns smaller dudes sometime during a fight. Why? Why do that? If the main enemy is difficult enough, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? God, this makes me angry. Anyway, no time to play today...Makes me sad
  11. What a way to open Season 2. The stage has been set. Can't wait to see where it's all heading.
  12. Thanks. Oh man, I cannot wait for that moment. It better not disappoint Edit: The game's giving me the same kind of accomplishment from fight to fight just as Demon's Souls did years ago. Even when in a battle against the same type of enemies later on you can't always rely on the same tactics and moves. During the first few hours I sometimes felt like playing on Give Me God of War was a mistake as I found that enemies just had a little too much health and with your limited moveset, fights became a little annoying (not frustrating, just annoying). But I pushed through and now that I unlocked more skills and ways to engage enemies the difficulty is perfect. Getting over "too good to use syndrome" with regards to Spartan Rage helps, too.
  13. @Hero-of-Time I'm interested in how much there's still for me to do (just story) Tell me!
  14. I've only just reached... and it was not the first time my jaw dropped to the floor. So beautiful. Come on Santa Monica Studio, release that photo mode. Or...maybe not. My progress is still very slow, with a photo mode it would come to a halt Fights are getting a little easier. I always die at least once during first encounters - set pieces; not the occasional enemy you encounter in a corridor or something - but once I have a strategy down and win a battle I feel like...a God.
  15. So...this just happened:
  16. Performance all the way. The FPS gains are pretty good.
  17. Oh, how I wish that was true for me The damage is negligible once an enemy powers up. The stun lock helps but it's highly situational. Edit: Just learned that buying better equipment is vital. The difference it made after I'd bought wrist and waist armor was quite substantial.
  18. You people should ramp up the difficulty. Mindlessly using combos and bashing enemies is a no-go. There's quite a bit of strategy involved. I'm currently getting my ass kicked by a combination of enemies...
  19. Eurogamer.net
  20. The game opened up a little just now. However, there are a lot of enemies in certain areas that kill me in one hit, so I'll avoid these for now. Need more Hacksilver for better equipment.
  21. I'm not a huge fan of multiplayer only games and "on-going service"-type titles but it's Housemarque. I'm intrigued. No platforms have been announced, yet, as far as I'm aware.
  22. Woke up early, went to the gym, have to do some shopping now but then it's back to GoW Haven't played as much as I wanted yesterday. Wasn't feeling too well, but it's all better now. Usually I don't like "sidekicks" in video games but Atreus is a welcome exception. Interactions between him and Kratos feel natural, both during "cut-scenes" and gameplay. He's a huge help during fights. At first I didn't use his bow and arrows that much, but they are vital to success. By the way, what difficulty are people playing on? I'd love to see a fight against Draugrs on a lower difficulty than Give Me God of War. I'm interested in how much their behaviour changes between difficulties. Also:
  23. Not sure, yet. It's kind of the same with Jack White's Boarding House Reach: Not feeling it at first, but it will most likely grow on me. We'll see after a few more listens. How about you?
  24. That much I figured, but the link you posted is going nowhere Do it.
