Wolfenstein: The New Order is one hell of a ride. Ridiculously over the top but fun. This is what it's all about. Not sure if I'll go for the Platinum. There are a shit ton of collectibles and I already missed some. Don't really like playing a game for the first time and using a guide. Anyway, I hope I'll finish this before God of War is released on Friday, but it'll be a close call.

Indeed. This is what I find hilariously ridiculous about the VAR. Fans at home see the first replay and most of the time you can immediately make a decision. There are, of course, occasionally situations where you'd need a closer look from various angles, but for the majority of situations it's stupidly easy to make a call. The World Cup will be fun

It's a legit call and in accordance with the rules. Even if the players are off the pitch, as long as the ref didn't leave the pitch he can make another call. (not saying you don't know that; it just baffles me how many people in Germany say that the whole situation was against the rules...) It was, however, a confusing situation. Apparently the VAR ref took too long to inform the ref on the field about the penalty... Communication has to be improved a lot when it comes to VAR decisions. Absolutely everybody has to be in the clear seconds after a decision has been made. Decisions have to be made faster, something I think could be achieved with intense training for the VAR refs. Additionally situations being decided by the VAR should be shown on the screens in the stadium so that fans, players, managers, etc have immediate feedback.

Gamestop has the 9.99€ offer again. This time it's for God of War. They haven't updated the list of games you can trade in, yet. Really hope I'll be able to trade in Ni No Kuni 2 and CoD: WWII. The upcoming weekend would consist of no social interactions whatsoever for me, if I can get God of War for 10 bucks

While I can understand that reasoning I still don't like all of this "extra content" we keep getting for games that already are a complete experience in itself (like this one or Ni No Kuni II). But hey, I usually don't pay for something like that so...

Finding the last few Skirmishes is a bitch...soooo tedious. I also need to be awakened a couple of times. Looks like you can farm that during the final boss fight and after you reach the required amount fight normal battles until a golden ball drops.

Had a wonderful night yesterday. Met with 5 ladies I haven't seen in four months. We drank, we ate and we just had a great time. Then we went to a 90s party in a club Life's good

I might go for it today, then. Still need to do 10 more skirmishes, though. Gonna be a drag finding them all...

Problem is: We've already won the league title last week but it has basically been a done deal for several months now so we've kinda been playing below our usual standards. It happened last year, too, and we couldn't reach that standard in time for the big matches...we'll get slaughtered by Real if this trend doesn't stop.

Urgh, Madrid...looks like these will be our last two CL games this season. Here's hoping Real will play like they did against Juve in the return leg

That's why I stopped going after the Platinum. I basically "only" need to grind levels but it'll take 5-6 hours killing the final boss over and over again. If I don't trade the game in until the DLC arrives I may give the trophy hunt another go. But if there's an opportunity for a trade in..lough luck

Still can't get over this. Sevilla is the most disgustingly dirty team I've ever seen...Robben gets brutally tackled at the end, too. I'm glad we knocked Sevilla out. But I'm even happier that nobody from our team got seriously hurt during that match...
