Thanks guys You can trade in pretty much any games (except really old ones). I plan on trading in Ratchet and Clank, Bloodborne and MGSV since they're all available on PS+ anyway Think I'll visit the local Gamestop store tomorrow and hope they still have consoles available (you have to put in a reservation for one and they only allow 50 per store, I hope I'm not too late).

Is a PS4 Pro worth it even without a 4k TV? There's a trade in offer with Gamestop in Germany. Trade in a standard PS4 (+ controller and three games) and you can buy a Pro for 99.99€. I'm tempted. Anybody here with a PS4 Pro who doesn't own a 4k TV? What perks does the PS4 Pro offer?

And too small. But that might just be my personal issue Anyway, it's such a fun game. 3 hours in and it's simply a joy to play, even if it is very easy.

Finally found the time to start this. Only 30 minutes in. So far I can say: The game is bloody gorgeous, the music is magical and the battle system is awesome (but very basic so far, obviously). That's it for now. Back to playing Edit: The music...

Lara Croft GO get! Fun little puzzle game. Recommended. Now it's time to wait for Ni No Kuni II

Ridiculously awesome.

Beautiful. Never played Advance Wars...maybe I should?

My godfather, who suffers from dementia, was apparently brought home by the police just now, a good friend of my godparents just told my mom. But now my mom can't reach either my godmother or this good friend and we have no idea what's going on... Edit: He's back home, everything is "fine"...my godfather has suffered from dementia for a long time now but he was always able to go outside, do grocery shopping or something and find back home. This time, however, he wasn't...thank God someone noticed that he was behaving "oddly" and called the police. My godmother is as stubborn as a mule and keeps saying that she doesn't need help taking care of him (they are both in their 80s...). We keep telling her that she should get some assistance. It would be better for both of them... At least the situation from an hour ago is resolved...

Just FYI: HITMAN - Spring Pack is available to download for free until April 3rd. It's the second Episode and once you "purchase" it, it'll be yours forever. That makes two Episodes for free, counting the Christmas Pack from last year. Maybe eventually we get the complete game for free

There is a SNES right below the TV...that's all the help you need. Also...chocolate wrapper as a condom. On my bucket list it goes.

Well, had the day off so I decided to go through with it. Got the It wasn't too bad. The game itself wasn't as enjoyable as the Platinum hunt, which sounds contradictory but I don't know how to put it any other way. I'd regret the purchase if I hadn't only paid 3 bucks for it. Now it's time for a completely different game: Lara Croft GO. Bought it a couple of weeks ago on a sale. I enjoyed Hitman GO so I'm looking forward to it. My goal is to complete it before I can pick up Ni No Kuni II on Friday Oh man, I cannot wait for my first new JRPG in a long time.

Managed to do 32.5kg 5x5 today. I think I've never gotten past 35kg, mostly because I got injured/lost motivation in the past. This time I'm more careful playing football and my motivation is as high as it can be. Let's see how it turns out

General Gaming Sales/Charts Discussion
drahkon replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Shamelessly stolen from ResetEra: Sony and Nintendo keep crushing it. Monster Hunter is doing great, as well. -
Wow, there's only one game I'm interested in. Mainly because I bought all the others already..... Volgarr the Viking for 2.99€. Bought and it is downloading. Will be my next game after Shadow of the Beast. Might be good to play in between Ni No Kuni II sessions

Hyper Light Drifter is supposed to be tough as nails. So all you casual newbs should stay clear. Especially @Hero-of-Time. Aaaanyway. Nice to see more and more indies coming to the Switch, even though it's mostly older ones.

He actually wrote that in his answer Jokingly, of course. ...

Just read up about what Stronglift recommends. Always keep the weight but after failure rest for longer and try again. So all 5 sets have to be at the same weight. However, if you don't manage to do 5x5 for three workouts you should deload 10%.

Bus drivers will go on strike tomorrow in my town. I don't have a bike/car/anything else, work is about 90 minutes away by foot and taxi is quite expensive...awesome. Just emailed my boss if I can take the day off. I have some overtime hours I could use for that. Really hope he says yes... Edit: Phew, I have tomorrow off. So no stress for me

Feels like I'm beginning to stall again with Pendlay Rows and Shoulder Presses. I did manage to do 5x5 35kg Rows today, though. First time ever. Shoulder press I'm stuck at 30kg-32.5kg yet again. Would a 6th set with reduced weight (2.5kg less than what I'm supposed to lift) and AMRAP be useful or should I just stick with 5x5 (or less reps, depending on how it goes) and reduce weight accordingly until I manage to do all 5 sets?

Every time I read about Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (be it in the news or via eMails from the devs' kickstarter) I remember that I will get a digital copy when it's released. Really looking forward to it.

After 12 months with a long hiatus, my mate and I finally finished Ghost Recon: Wildlands. What a ride. Many laughs have been had Got the Platinum, too. I hope there will be a sequel. It would need some improvements (less bugs, better vehicle controls, smaller map, more mission variety), though. First game that gets deleted from the single folder on my PS4 Ni No Kuni II will be added when I get it. Made some progress with Shadow of the Beast, as well. I've reached the second to last level. Still not sure if I'll go for the Platinum. I'd have to complete every level on the hardest difficulty again (among other trophies I'd have to get). Not sure if I want to, though. The game isn't really for me. I might just go for it while I wait for Ni No Kuni II on Friday.

Only listened to the final verdict of the Easy Allies review. Kinda sad that the game is only around 30 hours long... Anyway, I'm off to pre-ordering it Edit: Aaaaand pre-ordered. Can't wait

I was drunk on Saturday but too busy to post. And when I got home I immediately went to bed Maybe next Saturday I'll post something.

Depending on whether I can trade in Overwatch and Madden 18 to get Ni No Kuni II for 10 bucks, I'll pre-order it tomorrow.

Just got told that I made a big mistake at work last week. It's a little tedious to explain but trust me, it's quite the blunder. A collegue corrected it but there's still the problem that I sent original documents from students to one other student...that other student emailed us and said she knows each one of the others personally and is able to send them their documents...phew; what a conincidence. Speaking of coincidences. One document is a transcript from a very good friend of mine (if you follow the "good stuff thread"...I've talked about her in some of my recent posts). How her transcript was sent to our department (she studies in a different field) is a mystery. Until the whole thing is resolved I'm still a little on edge... Worked there for almost two years now, never made a mistake. But when I make one it's huge Edit: My boss just told me that it's not a big deal. He was surprised that it was me who made the mistake. Now I'm relaxed again
