*checks her hair in Spectre* Yeah, will watch

It's always interesting to me to read/hear those "Who's your favourite Bond?"-conversations. I didn't grow up with the Bond movies so I can never join these convos but it's funny how supposed friends get into a heated argument and end up screaming at each other I do enjoy the Craig movies, though. At least the two that I've seen. Wasn't she a Bond Girl before? She sure is a lot prettier with long hair.

I have This is a game I have on my Vita, so several indies I've already covered on the best handheld ever created I've always been interested in Golf Story so that's one in the "pro coloumn". Tetris 99 is not on my list because I am way too good at Tetris. I'd ruin the entire community's experience. Nah, I don't like Tetris, tbh. Yeah, those are pretty much the games that I'm interested in without looking up anything. Hmm, that's true, but I still wonder whether the Switch could be a nice complementary device to my PS4. Which is why I'm asking

Alright, I'm thinking about getting a Switch for Christmas. I don't have anything useful to buy/save for and will most likely get some money for Christmas so have disposable funds Still contemplating whether it'll be worth it. I know that I'd definitely be interested in Slay the Spire. Having this on the go would be amazing. Other than that, what is there? E.g., I've played Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey and didn't enjoy them. What about other offerings from either Nintendo as a first party studio or second party studios (to add, Mario Kart and Smash Bros are a given; these are games that I would eventually buy)? Would there be games that I enjoy? What about exclusive indies? Or indies that came to the Switch via the Microsoft deal or whatever the fuck that was? @Hero-of-Time probably knows the most about my gaming taste, so gimme a run down And to the pitiful rest: Feel free to chime in Except @Glen-i because I don't like his frog-Pokémon avatar (YES, I CALLED IT FROG AGAIN).

By the way, @Hero-of-Time, I know what you've been up to...

"Hey, the thing I'm making...man, I'm so proud of it. Wanna know what it is? TOUGH LUCK, BITCH! Not telling you!. JUST TELL US.

Nope. I knew it was a thing, though, because there's a trophy for finding it. I did, however, look up some pictures of his place. You're image in the spoiler tag immediately sprung to mind This is exactly what I didn't get from BotW. All those little things in that game felt out of place because there was no "grand scheme of things". BotW was "full of" (a term that is weird, because the game was very empty) inconsequential moments. In Death Stranding, even losing one piece of cargo has some kind of impact. Not for you, but for others. They can pick it up and deliver it to get some thumbs up. It is very minor but not inconsequential.

The Ironclad in Slay the Spire SUCKS. And NO, it's not me Nah, I can't seem to win with him no more. Ascension 5 doesn't change much and that change isn't even what keeps killing me. It's my ineptitude to build a strong deck for certain situations. But I'll get it eventually. I think I'm close to fulfilling his potential. In other news, I've finally figured out why I struggled so much with the early game of Civilization VI. It's those stupid barbarians. I've only yesterday realized that once one of their spies locates your town(s), they go back to their base, start pumping out combat units and bumrush your empire. And it's devastating. I haven't been able to keep up with putting out combat units of my own and always lost resources via the barbarians' pillage. But now I know, that you can just follow the spies and fuck up their base; usually one or two combat units of your own suffice. Game changer, right there. Lost two hours of sleep because "one-more-turn-syndrome" was in full effect last night...

I'm always naughty.

Never seem to get these gifts

Two years before Donkey Kong 64 got released, the masterful TV adaption of the beloved video game series had aired. Never forget.

I see, then Dragon's Trap is off the list

Alright, thanks Sony and one local store for starting the Christmas sale. Tomorrow I'll most likely buy Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden Deluxe Edition at a local store. And from the PSN Store it'll be: Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap (iirc, @Hero-of-Time, you recommended it a couple of weeks/months ago?) Mark of the Ninja: Remastered Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom There goes most of my birthday money

I loved that moment

Thank you I've just stopped raging at my ineptitude to win at Slay the Spire and am off to drink one or 800 beers Do it. Now.

I was thinking about that today, too. 6 freaking years. Crazy how time flies. I've upgraded to a Pro about 18 months ago. No regrets. The PS4 is my favourite console/gaming device ever (followed by PSVita ). And it's insane how it's still going. Selling well, with some great titles still on the way. Couldn't be happier with it In fact, I bought a 12 month PS+ subscription today because I will definitely get my value out of it next year (and it was only 30 bucks, so ).

Don't give the usual Death Stranding critics here a springboard by calling it a "job" Again, stop with the excuses. Final Space is a good one, though.
-
Don't rationalize your problem. I'm kidding, of course. Very much looking forward to your top 10. Also: Go back to Death Stranding
-
You mean the "bob Edition"?
-
Yeah, no shit since you played 800 games this year Here I am, sitting around with 25 games finished. Definitely makes creating my list easier Think I'll go with a top 5. Also, I made a colossal mistake by spoiling my #1. Now it's 100% sure that nobody will be interested in my rankings. But maaaayyyybeeee things will change. SO LOOK FORWARD TO MY LIST!

Mine did. It was the normal edition, too.

Slay the Spire, people. It's absolutely amazing. You can't make me stop gushing. Last night I completed Ascension 4 with the third character I would say my win/loss ratio is at 35/65 during my last 20-30 runs. That's quite the improvement. I still make mistakes, sometimes I don't think ahead (especially regarding the upcoming boss or immediate fights) and I still need to internalize enemy movesets (which eventually will become useless, as those change with a future Ascension ). But when I do everything right it feels so good to have built a great deck and use it to perfection I doubt anything I might play in December will remove Slay the Spire from the #1 spot on drahkon's one and only GOTY List of the century that everyone will disagree with.

Can confirm. I saw a couple of Ones for 99 bucks when I bought Borderlands 3. But even at that price I wouldn't touch it with a stick
