Ok... It's too easy, but still enjoyable. That's all I can say after about 45 minutes of playtime.

A man can dream.

You guys talk about the eShop while I'm sitting here wondering why there are no folders, yet. I think the UI could use a little update. This mockup is my favourite (needs a dark theme, though).

After unlocking Ascension mode I've decided to climb my way up with The Defect. I'm now at Ascension 8. Have to say: Power decks are awesome Mummified Hand + Creative AI is so good. Also managed to make a 0-cost deck work. Pretty nifty, when you can essentially deal 100+ damge in one turn. My playtime so far: 26 hours. Not bad for a game I've bought 3 weeks ago Anyway, I'm going back to bed and try to slay the spire.

Nope. Crypt of the Necrodancer World of Final Fantasy VA-11 HALL-A All PSVita games My prime time to play is: "NULL NULL". I apparently live in a simulation.

Doesn't work correctly for me. It says I only played 3 games.

My 2020 so far: Dragon Quest I - lovely game. Enjoyed it for what it is: The origin of the Dragon Quest series. Shovel Knight (Shovel of Hope) - bought Treasure Trove for the Switch and just had to play the original campaign again. Such a great throwback to 2D platformers from the past. Super Mario Odyssey - solid 7/10 Two games that I also consider beaten in 2020 (sue me, I completed them around New Year's eve ): Golf Story - grindy and stupidly repetitive quests in an RPG with a lackluster story and horrible writing. The golf mechanics, however, are really good. Astral Chain - PlatinumGames' worst game, in my opinion. Button-mashy battles with repetitive mission and location design. What I'm playing right now: Slay the Spire - climbing Ascension with The Defect. And yeah, it's still amazing Blaster Master Zero - not sure what I think of it, yet. Shovel Knight (Plague of Shadows) - haven't touched it in days. It's ok but I'm not a fan of Plague Knight's movement. Stardew Valley - shouldn't have bought it. It's a time sink Very relaxing and fun

Dragon Quest I, II & III are heading West on September 27th!
drahkon replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
It's actually the first game I've finished in 2020 Completed it on the 1st of January. I couldn't really play it for longer sessions because some of the backtracking was a little annoying. But I enjoyed it. It's been great to get to know the origin of the Dragon Quest series. I will definitely get II and III at some point. -
Doubt it if everyone just grabs a fireflower and starts burning the place down...

Man, Cuphead is so good. My mate isn't the best with these types of games and I think it's a little more difficult with two players, but we still have so much fun. It's not as difficult, as I had expected, though. Especially when my mate dies and I get to play a level without distractions I can usually manage to pull through Can't wait for Sunday to play this again

That was definitely not a surprise. Sony will reveal the new console at their own event and the people who'd watch E3 will also tune in for that. Depending on the timing it might also pull a lot of attention away from E3.

Played this for a bit with a mate just now. It's soooo good. Frantic, precise and difficult. It's time for NFL now, but we'll get back to it later

Both for the Switch

The Skull & Co. GripCase just arrived and it is amazing. Playing in handheld mode is so much better with it. My wrists kept hurting after 30 minutes of playtime without the case. Not anymore, now that I use this. It's also dock friendly, but it does need a little more pressure and finesse to push the Switch into the dock. Skull & Co. has a new customer I'll most likely buy their custom dock if it's still on sale next month.

Nah, it's a very tactical game. You need grid based navigation to plan your moves better. It wouldn't work as good as it does, if you and enemies could move freely. As soon as you "enter" a "room" (i.e. run out of a corridor) you stop, so you don't accidentally walk into a sleeping enemy, for example. That way. you get time to plan ahead.

Cuphead US eShop Code for $9.00 - target.com If anyone is interested. I might get it, if target.com allows PayPal payment from a German account.

SUPERHOT IS THE MOST INNOVATIVE SHOOTER I'VE PLAYED IN YEARS. Stardew Valley is on sale on the US eShop for 10 bucks. To quote the great Harry from In bruges..."I know I shouldn't...but I will." SUPER HOT SUPER HOT SUPER HOT SUPER HOT

Anyway, reached the end of the demo. I'm sold. The game wanted me to be Mudkip but fuck no. I chose to be Squirtle, because Squirtle is best.
-
Gave the demo a go. First of all: The game is gorgeous. The artstyle fits the tone perfectly and it's just beautiful to look at. Gameplay is relatively simple, so far. I guess it'll ramp up later? Seems right up my alley, though. Let's see when the demo will stop. This might actually be the first full price game I'll get for the Switch

Always wanted to give the Mystery Dungeon games a try, because, you know...ROGUELIKE. Seems like a good way to start.

So old Pokémon are being added with DLC. Looks like we now know why not all Pokémon were in Sword and Shield from the start
-
Nooooo, I missed that run Hope it's on YouTube soon. Speaking of, they are a lot slower with uploads this year. Could be because they want people to tune in to the stream. Guess we'll have to wait until after the event is over to have all runs available on the YouTubez.

There are actually people making fun of Sony for "being lazy" with the design. Those people probably never heard of brand recognition Anyways, here's a mockup of possible PS5 game boxes: Gotta say, love the choice of black. I like it a lot more than blue.
