Saw it just now. Thought it was pretty great. I would give it about an 8 out of 10, but that's mostly Pokémon nostalgia. It would have been a 5 or 6 on the movie alone. Got a bit confused as to some of the plot near the end, but I can't go into it without spoilers.

I believe that they intentionally released a trailer with a shit Sonic, to get people taking about it. They already have a better version ready to go, and will release the good version now that they've had a load of free advertising.

I too was a bit underwhelmed, but I'm reserving overall judgement until after the season ends because some of the questions may be answered later (like what Bran was up to).

I don't buy that she stole one of their faces. Most of them don't even have any skin, how could she steal a face!? I just assumed she was super sneaky. The reason she wasn't in proper assassin mode in the library was because she was scared and forgot her training. Her chat with fire witch woman made her snap out of it.

I think you've just spoiled the twist at the end of the movie.

The final boss guy in this is laughably easy because the game ends as soon as you kill him. He has like 20 bodyguards standing around him, but you can just run up to him and stab him without killing any of them, and without having to worry about escaping afterwards.

I actually think that looks quite good, but then I've never played a Sonic game and am a sucker for anything with the Carrey in it.
