    Yeah I'm reluctant to use any google apps because of the threat they'll fold them at any point. I think the only one i properly use is Gmail, so fingers crossed they don't get bored of that soon.

    Doing some fairly boring, monotonous CAD work, and decided to listen to Daft Punk - Alive to help pass the time. There are some "banging tunes" on that album. Been bopping away all day.

    The schools reopening is bullshit. Is Italy reopening schools? Is Spain? No, because schools are virus and disease cesspits, and there's no way you can keep 5 year olds to socially distance. Hancock said on the news this morning that it would be fine, since the science shows that children don't transmit the virus (What science? Where's the report?). Then the next sentence says that we can't have grandparents looking after children, as they would give them the disease. Well can they transmit it or not Matthew?!

    I decided on one of these in the end: The Razer Blade 15 I went for one with a pretty substantial graphics card (2060), as it should hopefully future proof it for a few years. It was really tempting to get the next one up (2070), but it was an extra £250 and I'm not sure I'd even be able to tell the difference. Now i have to wait until Wednesday like a chump.

    I found the final episode a bit.....meh. Season 3 started off really well, bit ended up just sloping downwards until the end.

    I'm getting pretty annoyed at my lazy, cheap neighbours. I paid 128,999 bells of a bridge, leaving it with 1 bell left. Its been like that for three days. Has any of them little shits contributed anything towards that bridge? Have they fuck. Now Tom Nook wants me to build a campsite to try and get more visitors to Jeju Island. Fuck that. Don't need any more of those wastrels wandering about babbling about shite.

    I think they know that the best course of action is to keep everyone quarantined over the whole summer - but they don't want to say that, as they could cause riots. So they just keep stringing everyone out, teasing them with the prospect of relaxing the rules, then whipping it away.

    I'm not 100% sure no, but whenever I've looked at it, that's what it showed me (mine currently has 5 possibilities of fluctuating, at 20% each).

    I'm pretty sure both the possibilities have an equal chance of happening, so it's 50%. Turnip Prophet just groups all the possibilities together (large spike, fluctuating etc) and works out the percentage based on how many there are of each.

    Yeah i was referring to the Zephyrus ones. They look quite nice, but i guess the thinness is what gives you the heat problems! The Strix/TUF look more like a 17 year old's bedroom which is what I'm trying to avoid. I think i need to go away and have a good think about my budget as well. It's so easy to see it creep up when looking at graphics cards!

    I actually dont mind the look of the ASUS ROG series, but apparently they have an overheating problem.

    I thought about that. I looked at getting a small form factor PC that would fit in my TV cabinet, but then I'd have to work in my living room rather than at at my dining room table, and the TV would be out of action whenever i needed to use it. I could probably get a pretty good gaming desktop + a cheap laptop for the same price as a gaming laptop though...however i think I'd appreciate the portability of the gaming laptop even if it's just moving it around my house. Decisions, decisions...

    Tentatively thinking about buying a new laptop. I've managed to convince myself i need one, since I'm working from home a lot more, and my current one is now 6 years old. Problem is, i can't decide whether to go for something sleek and simple, or buy some ugly brutish slab that can play games. I should probably do the adult thing and buy something cheaper and functional, but.....
