I bought a TV off eBay years ago, and only the stand turned up. Delivery email said that there were two parcels in the shipment, and only one turned up. Still don't know what happened to the TV. Ended up splitting the lost cost with the seller. Don't know if they scammed me, or if the postman stole it...

Local Multiplayer It's got to beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Goldeneye I can remember struggling to breathe from laughing when playing 4-player slappers only, everyone on their knees, gliding around the Temple level, slapping the shit out of each other.

Best Opening I realise this probably means first level, but i'm going for the opening cinematic of Borderlands 2 (starting at 3:08). Just sums up the violence, humour and chaos of the game perfectly - with some bitchin' music too.

My earliest video game memory was when my family first got a PC, and playing a game called Think Quick. I think you were some sort of Knight, exploring a castle, avoiding dragons, and looking for keys to open gates. Only now have I just noticed it was made by "The Learning Company" which makes me deeply suspicious that it may have been educational...

So I decided to go for a domination victory as England in Civ 6. Waited until turn 300 to launch my attack. I figured it would be best to build up my science and technology, then wipe everyone else out with upgraded military. However, after a few turns, I started to wonder if I'd left it too late. It takes a while to get all your units around the map and into position! By turn 400 I'd conquered 3 out of the 7 nations required, and realised I'd need to step it up. Luckily, by this point I had a shit tonne of money, so started a war on multiple fronts to try and speed things up. By turn 50, I was closing in on wiping out the 6th civ, and I could see victory in my grasp! However, after I took over the final city of civ 6, the game ended.... Turns out I'd won a cultural victory!? Apparently by wiping out all the other nations, my tourism points beat their domestic tourism points by default? Very hollow victory. And I was only a few turns away from getting nukes! Still didn't get to use them!

That's the one! You're right though, it's incredible how good a PS3 game can look.

I could have sworn there was a dedicated gaming music thread, but I can't find it anywhere. Anyway, this song came on a Spotify playlist I was listening, and its just.... mesmerising. I've never played ME though, so I have no idea about anything behind it.

That's pretty cool. Do they have every car in-game? Or only a few? Can you model dents in the side panels too? Also, I'd need to be able to put 4 months of bird shit on the roof to do my car.

Oh that. It just, happened. No idea what caused it, but it's cleared up now. Apparently that answer causes your boss to get suspicious though, and start accusing your wife of domestic violence.
