Happenstance

Im just watching a video of the Yogscast playing Pulsar: Lost Colony at the moment and it seems really interesting. Its another space game but for this one you actually play together as a crew when in the ship so have someone flying on the bridge, someone in engineering etc. I'd love to get an NE crew together to play this. http://store.steampowered.com/app/252870/

Yeah I ended up listening to it this afternoon, really good as you said. Just makes me realise as well how much I miss Vinny on the Bombcast. He bounces off Jeff so well!

Completed the final episode of Life is Strange this morning It was such a great game overall and im really glad I played it. Story and characters have been the most important thing for me in games for the last few years and this game did an amazing job with both. You really came to love/hate certain characters but it definitely left room for shifting opinions on people when you found out new information. All the time travel stuff was fun but it almost felt secondary to the rest of the world and characters they built. I would probably enjoy this game just as much if it was a simple game where I walked around the School and talked to Max's friends etc. As I said, the time travel stuff was fun but it also left you with a strong sense of "did I just make the right choice?". Being able to go back and do things differently almost made things harder as a lot of the time you never seemed to have a brilliant choice, and as the prompts kept telling me, these things will always have consequences! I'll be interested to see if there is a season 2. If there is though I would prefer it to be a whole new location with new characters. They did a nice job at finishing this story and I dont need it to be dragged out.

It is one of those things where for me personally, it doesnt bother me if they are getting stuff wrong or making up their own science. It is a comic book show and I dont need everything to be completely accurate to enjoy it.

I think I might have to hook my Retron 5 back up this weekend and play some retro gaming goodness. Getting all nostalgic again.

I loved the movie one, despite it being poorly thought of overall.

Its driving me crazy at the moment realising that games I loved growing up like the Spider-Man Animated Series game or Batman and Robin now sell for around £50-60 and I stupidly probably sold them for a couple of quid

Yeah I don't tend to get Virtual Console games, I'm more interested in buying the actual carts. I already have the game anyway on my Vita, it's just a shame that one has the crappy load times from the PS1.

Thinking about carrying on with my SNES and Mega Drive collections soon. Almost bought a copy of Final Fantasy III (6) on the SNES from ebay the other day but couldnt bring myself to spend the money.

I think we'll see them honour certain contracts they still have like PES but then gradually move away from the gaming scene and start focusing on their more profitable businesses. They do seem absolutely nuts and I would rather they either stuck around or sold off IPs but I can at least understand that if they arent making enough money, of course they'll drop this stuff.

Cant decide if I should get Tales of Zestiria on Steam now so it will come with a free copy of Tales of Symphonia or get Zestiria on PS4 and have a better chance of actually sticking with it. Im still finding at the moment that I get less distracted playing console games so will actually complete a lot more of them.

Playstation Home wasn't a disaster at all. Apparently it made a hell of a lot of money.

Im gonna go through my library later and find some good games to download over the weekend to test it properly. I need a better shooter than Deus Ex (which always felt a bit weird) and maybe a Civ game I think.

Trying out mine at the moment. I absolutely hate the placement of the face buttons and I've only managed to test a first person shooter quickly but I thought the touch pad was a terrible substitute for a second stick.
