  1. I was thinking it would be every time you need to access something, unless it's from a "saved" access point (aka a PC, Mac, tablet etc) then it would generate a code that would be sent to your phone. This would be required to access said services. You'd only need to remember the one password, never the code. Google's 2-step service is probably the next stage in all verification.
  2. Yeah, i can't say anything to that. I know i've said advertising is needed, but c'maaaan.
  3. I'm in the same boat, which is a real shame really. Nintendo used to be something i would be happy to have as a main console, but these days it's impossible to have just Nintendo. Looking at the WiiU, so far there have been 2 first party titles for it this year alone (so far) in the forms of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and now Mario Kart. The blame for the "current" failure with the WiiU lies mainly with Nintendo, and within that it's to be blamed on Iwata. It's not to be blamed on 3rd parties entirely. It's a real shame, many people say Iwata is to blame for Nintendo's current position, and i can't really agree more.
  4. Had an email through, they've dispatched my order today. Probably arrive either Saturday (if the mailman is nice) or Tuesday. Not sure if Ubisoft are doing a Rockstar with this and not releasing the orders until Sunday/Monday.
  5. Continuing with my ruling of 1 game per system, i've returned to Albion with Fable: Anniversary. And as the game is 10+ years old, i won't spoil tag my progress (hopefully those whom wanted to play Fable and/or Lost Chapters will have done so by now) I've done Bargate Prison and returned to Albion after rescuing the hero's Mum. I've progressed further and defeated Maize at Hook Coast. The only noticable differences between this and the original (apart from the graphical upgrade with the Unreal engine) is a better navigation menu. The game itself is very glitchy, i tried doing a side quest the other day where i had to rescue kidnapped citizens from Greatwood. None of them were in the areas, nor were there any bandits. Anywho, i'm nearing the end of the main story of Anniversary (trying to stop Jack from opening the key stones to get the sword). Then all i've got left is the Lost Chapters part and i'm done.
  6. I've got a 3rd party Wii "Classic Pro" Control pad, the only issue i've had with it is the fact some of the buttons are a little stiff to begin with. And yes, i got it off ebay. Only need to use it now with Majoras Mask and Super Mario 64 as the other Wii VC games i've had are upgraded to WiiU and can use the Pro controller. Picked up an official WiiU Pro Controller last weekend for £28 from CEX online as it seemed to be the only place i could find an official one at a reasonable price. Had to give it a quick clean to get the dirt off, but it works perfectly fine. Had a bash on Monster Hunter with it, and it feels so much better to play with a conventional control pad. As many have done, mainly picked it up for Mario Kart 8 gaming.
  7. Mario Kart is one of them games that everyone loves to play. My Pro controller arrived last night in preparation. Bring on next weekend!!!
  8. I've just checked mine, it's still reading as £90 being charged.
  9. I wonder if anyone will try and stay online like that chap did with Halo 2. Didn't he stay online for a month after the servers went off?
  10. I feel better (so far) with having not read a heck of a lot on Mario Kart 8 and avoiding the spoilers on tracks, characters and many other things. I'm still pretty hypped for this game.
  11. Sounds like you had a good night, i shall read the review once i get home.
  12. Couple of recent snaps And of course, a terrible photobomb
  13. 6 (i know 5 is split in 1/2, i treat them as separate seasons)
  14. Just finished up series 5, boy that was a good series.
  15. Spotted the Alan Partridge movie is on Amazon Prime Instant Video, shall be watching it and reporting back.
  16. Thought that deal was too good to be true, John Lewis = Fools
  17. Congratulations chap.
  18. Indeed, am looking forward to it. The event itself looks to be promising.
  19. Who knows, maybe because of the delay on the reveal last year they may have it close to finished and could very well get it out for the holiday period.
  20. Wind Waker came out in the Spring 2003 after the Gamecube launch, the HD version came out late Summer last year. But yeah, most Zelda games come out in the Autumn/Winter. Nintendo announcing a Zelda game at E3 for release in the Autumn this year, doesn't sound like Nintendo to me. But if it happens then fair enough, it will surprise me.
  21. Got a meeting today regarding my type of contract in work, i'm on a fixed term contract. It's making me think at present.
  22. I can't see a new Zelda game coming out this side of the Christmas period, maybe by March 2015 at the earliest really. Autumn doesn't sound right
  23. My usual combo of characters (as of MK-7) is Yoshi, Toad, Koopa and of recent times, Lakatu. I'm happy they are all in MK-8. Don't mind whom else is in the game.
  24. Mine's locked in, pre-ordered it at the same time i bought my headset. I do agree with comments, this should not have been "watered down" for the next-gen. Maybe have developed both versions separate at 2 different Ubisoft studios, one doing the now-current gen version making it look great. The other making the 360/PS3 versions.
