I watched this earlier. Damn, that was a fine conference. Just looking at what was on offer, a new LBP, more stuff on the Order. Plenty of new IP's and Indie games being made, more cross-plaform* Vita/PS4 games. *I like this idea, something Nintendo should bring in for 3DS/Wii-U titles. I've got Pixelshooter on the Vita and PS4 (free on PS+), very enjoyable playing a few levels at home then more whilst on the train to and from work. And using saves via the Cloud, very nice. But, with so many games coming for the PS4/Vita i don't know what to choose to get. So much choice, so little time.

This does look very nice indeed, wonder how far into 2015 it will be for release? Graphically, the style suits the game.

It does actually look to be a lot of fun, one to keep an eye on i think.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Jimbob replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yeah, same here. This could have been shown last year and maybe something additional this year. Still, i'm happy. Looks like a nice art style to go for. -
Going onto my E3 predictions for Nintendo, and what was seen. More information on Zelda for the WiiU, revealing a cross between sailing and horse riding Nice to see Zelda on show, nice art style as well. But if that's all we got to see this year, i'm a little worried. That could have been shown last year really. New Metroid Still, E3's not over yet. Could be revealed, who knows. News on F-Zero Still, E3's not over yet. Could be revealed, who knows. Majoras Mask 3DS confirmed So far, no news. E3's not over yet so i'm still holding out hope. A new franchise Yes, we've got a game called "Splatoon". Looks interesting, and i'll look into that more. A re-launch of how Nintendo think*, with a re-launch of the WiiU. What was i thinking Overall, not a bad digital presentation. A few things went on too long, like Smash and Yoshi. That figurine thing, sorry bit of a money-grabber really. That won't sell Wii U consoles, which is what they want to do. A good 2015 (if all the games come out then). But for 2014, still looks a little shaky.

I've always enjoyed the Rainbow Six tactical-based shooter, so seeing that yesterday was enjoyable and something i'll be interested in getting. That, and Far Cry are probably the only shooter-style games i'm interested in from E3 this year. Not got an interest in Call of Duty or Battlefield.
-
Is that what Sony done with the Vita?. Oh well, there's plenty for me to get on with. Plenty of digital titles coming (which are cross-platform with PS4/PS3 - Sony's idea of pay once, play across all systems is good) and as Cube said regarding PS+ games on here, yeah i'm fine with that as well. The Vita is such an underrated machine, i'm surprised it has not sold well at all. I've not seen the Sony conference yet, i'll be watching it this evening. But i guess from facebook and Twitter, they've had a good one this year again.

Ubisoft so far have done a good job on it's conference. Showcased a few games i've got an interest in. Other than that, only seen Microsoft's conference and a round-up of EA's via Francis. Microsoft's was a bit meh, as gaggle said they've only confirmed more really. Fable Legends however looks cack, Lionhead have ruined the series beyond.
-
It was decent at best i thought. I knew it wasn't going to be huge like last years one. I mean, what are Lionhead thinking with Fable Legends. It looks turd, horrible and not appealing to me. And this is coming from a fan of the series. Call of Duty and Halo don't exactly interest me either, played Halo 4 thought it was decent compared to the original. Making a nice collection for release this holiday season however seems a good idea, especially for fans of Halo 2 multiplayer. Oh well, bring on the next ones.

The name is terrible still, but i kind of understand it a little seeing as you can recruit 4 friends to go through co-op mode.

General Gaming Sales/Charts Discussion
Jimbob replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I've not seen a Wii or a 360 advert since, well last year around November. I guess Sony want to advertise the PS3 still, but the only advert i've seen concerns the FIFA World Cup and not much else (i think this game is last-gen only, not current-gen). Nothing like getting a few extra sales on last-gen consoles. As it's been said, the last gen has a shed load of great games to play to cover all genres. A good time to get a last-gen console, you'll never get board. All that cheap gold just waiting to be played. I've seen PS4 adverts as well, last one was around the launch of Watch Dogs. No -
This has shocked me, 56 is no age to go. He was a part of my teenage years, with the likes of Bottom and Drop Dead Fred (a classic). R.I.P.

Just had a look to see if there was any time i could take off, alas not to be. Oh well, back to original plan of catch-up once i get home.
-
I couldn't get the time off work, so the plan is to catch-up with Microsofts conference when i get home on Monday. Join in the N-Europe chit-chat for the Ubisoft event at 11pm. Then on Tuesday, catch-up with both Sony's and Nintendo's events (of course, avoiding spoilerz as best i can). I know, i could call in "sick". But i'm saving that for July.

Happy Birthday to our number 1 Danish resident.

The final lap crash (now in gif form)
-
Well done to Daniel Ricciardo for his first major Grand Prix win of the season. Here's hoping many more come his way. What a race, what a result as i mentioned. Thank goodness both Massa and Perez seemed ok after that horrific crash on the final lap, Vettel was damn lucky to not get taken out by either car (shame). Nice 4th place for Button, just quietly taking 2 spots without anyone noticing. Rosberg, how he wasn't given a penalty for his corner cutting and full throttle to gain a lead i have no idea.
-
Indeed, watching with Sky Sports most excellent coverage. Got lap timers and track positions of all racers. Marussia, unbelievable. Sorry to say it's a retirement for Chilton. Saw this via Twitter, had to post it. It's a good race so far, long way to go.
-
I've got my E3 plans sorted, even though i cannot get the time off work for this (shame :-( ), i plan on watching Microsofts conference once i get home at 9pm. Sony's conference at 9pm with Nintendo's going back to back with it. I know that kind of sucks, and i will miss the E3 banter in the chat room.

I'm the same as Cube, i could never replay the 3rd game without having played 1 and 2 again. It would be the same as i'd have to play all of the Ezio Assassin's Creed games in order if i wanted to play Revelations again.
-
Probably had a lazy Amazon staff member.
-
It's not a bad game, as it uses the Cloud for saves i've got it on the Vita for portable fun.
-
Get in contact with them to arrange a refund i say.
-
Indeed, i think the developers said something that it would be impossible to put this on the PS3/360. Which is good in a way, because as you said it gives a really good reason to get a (now) current gen console
-
It does indeed look great, i didn't see the stream but i'll view it later. Still, this gives me plenty of time to complete Witcher II on the 360 in preparation for this. Anyone else see the collectors edition they've got for pre-order via LAME (sorry, GAME). Not too shabby, but a hefty price tag.
