  1. Just goes to show that no matter what the power is in the car (be it between Rosberg and Hamilton), that it's down to the driver as it was proved. Lewis will most likely take the World Title this year, which i'd be happy with because A. He's British and B. It's not Seb Vettel All i've heard from Vettel is moan, moan, moan. Riccardo getting a legit podium this time, i'm happy for him. Well deserved this time around.
  2. Finished Pikmin 3 earlier. A fine reason, in my opinion, to own a WiiU. Not solely for the game, but it's a reason to own it.
  3. Now that would explain it, the touch panel on the back of the Vita certainly makes it more interactive. And better mapped buttons.
  4. At the moment (as of yesterday). I'm playing the following Wii U Plodding through Pikmin 3. I think i'm at the final hurdle when i left it last night.
  5. Was playing Pikmin 3 yesterday, had to put my headset on as my parents thought i was watching a gay pride parade because of all the whistling going on (i was fighting a boss)
  6. Yet another job rejection, sigh. I'm never leaving this place without quitting.
  7. I keep wondering why it's cheaper on game.co.uk than in-store, and have inquired about the stores matching online pricing. Simply put, they won't. Which is stupid to be fair, but hey ho. It does depend on the game itself. I do try and buy in retail stores as much as possible, if it's reasonably priced of course. I'm happy to go out and buy a game at full price (at launch or whenever) if it's something i want to play. I do buy the vast majority of my Nintendo games via Shopto or GAME online as it tends to be (at times) up to £10 cheaper than in-store. Bought Mario Golf at launch for £8 cheaper online (£27) than in-store (£35). Other titles on other consoles, it does vary. Currently, i've got Watch Dogs pre-ordered online, but i've got Mario Kart pre-ordered in-store. And with instore purchases, you do get the odd good deal. Best i can think of is recently with inFamous, got the Special Edition (with the hat) for £5 cheaper than the standard game at an online price because the store forgot to remove 2 pre-orders from my card, so claimed them. I guess to wrap it up, i'm 50/50 on online and store purchases. You can get cracking deals whilst out and about which just ain't available online and visa-versa.
  8. Sorry for the bump Re-started this as i forgot where i was with the game. Still can't get over how visually stunning the detail on the game is, using the Wiimote for the controls is certainly more interesting than the Gamepad.
  9. Brilliant episode, well done.
  10. Certainly an interesting episode
  11. Moved teams last week. That's the only good bit. The bad, i've been hearing my new TL is a bit of a nutcase (and i've overheard them, but not known it was them until told). Callers are worse than ever, to the point i've actually done something i've not done before, and that was literally have a cry (yes, you read that right). Callers, and this job to be fair, have broken me. It's been noticed by friends, family and people whom know me that i'm not right and something is wrong. I'm hunting for a new job, but nothing is coming up. I'm getting depressed with being rejected due to not having the "experience" required for the role. Which is making things worse, because the only other way out is quitting. Which looks bad for looking for job hunting. Management have been told by myself that i'm not happy, but alas do nout.
  12. Comparing this to Mario Tennis (it was good, but short and lacked replayability after a while). Golf has certainly got an improved online system. Tournaments with prizes, DLC with 3 extra courses (and characters). Did a few online tournaments last night, won a few prizes from them. There is so much replayability to this game, i can see myself playing a few rounds in the months to come.

    Drive Club

Seriously, that looks fantastic. The delay has certainly been worth it in my eyes.
  14. Finished up playing Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag over the weekend (story-mode and 3/4 of the extra stuff)
  15. Had a problem with a certain gaming retailer (of whom will be named as LAME) on Thursday/Friday of last week. Popped into the store on the Thursday to pick up a copy of Child of Light, happened to spot a few Deluxe Editions left over. So picked up a box for it, handed it over to the sales assistant (whom i need to add here, was the manager of the store). They faffed around looking for a code for some reason (made me think, why didn't they simply take a copy from the shelf and scan it). Printed out a receipt with a code on it, but before handing it over disappeared again. Came out with a Deluxe Edition, scanned it and printed another receipt out. Asked me if i wanted to use my points for the purchase, i said yeah. So paid £8 for the game. Was handed the 2 reciepts only. I asked why wasn't i given the deluxe, was told it was a "pre-order only" version. Thought nothing of it and went home that evening after work. Checked the receipt i had once i got home and online to see how many points i had left. Found i lost all my points (all £7 of them). Not happy at this stage Contacted Customer Services via the phone, and online chat. Both said the same thing when i asked about the points and my last purchase. They said my card had showed a "Deluxe Edition" was charged, but i was only given the standard edition. I did ask for a transcript of the call/chat of which it was sent to me via email. Also asked if the Deluxe was pre-order only, they informed me it was not. Took it, and the receipts to the store that evening. Explained the situation to the store staff, whom were quick to say i was sold the correct version as per the receipt. I asked them to check my last purchase via the reward card, they saw what i was already told earlier. I happened to ask if the Deluxe was pre-order only, they said it was. I showed them the transcript. Along with that, and the proof i paid for a Deluxe on my card, they clearly were in the wrong. Click here for the rest
  16. Following on from the bad stuff part regarding LAME, they had mucked up with my purchase of "Child of Light". Again explaining it was pre-order only (and again, that was bull as i proved it wasn't). They gave me a full refund on the game, and let me keep the receipts with the codes as a "gesture of good will". So not all bad in my eyes, complaining does pay off at the right time.
  17. And the season pass for the 3 courses. Total, about £40
  18. Picked this up earlier myself. I'm impressed with it. As RedShell mentioned, this is so much more enjoyable and better than the Tennis. More modes, and a heck of a lot better multiplayer feature. I've also gone for the Triple course pack. It's quite interesting to know it adds over 100 holes once all 3 packs are downloaded. And i'll enter the tournament in the morning, set a score for myself.
  19. I paid £28 for mine from Shopto, i'm happy with that. And with the Season pass, it comes to the same amount as a certain store would charge for it in-store. Which of course, i'm happy with.
  20. I've picked up the PS4 edition, got the codes at home. Saving it for the bank holiday. It does look great from the reviews i've seen.
  21. R.I.P A great actor. Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Hook are 2 of my favourite childhood movies starring him.
  22. Not seen the direct myself, but no voice chat in races sounds fine to me. As it's been said, it will certainly reduce the lag (if any) and disruptions. I don't tend to talk when in battles/races, too focussed on achieving a victory. But other than that, going to be a long 30 days. Luckly for me, this comes out at the end of May (on pay day) so i havn't got to worry about money seeing as Mario Golf and Watchdogs are out this month as well. Still, gives me a chance to get a WiiU Pro Controller (use the Wii Gamepad, na) and an External HDD sorted (for my free game)
  23. That sounds a sweet deal. Out of that list i've seen (via Official Nintendo Mag), probably going with Wonderful 101 myself.
  24. Once a fixed date for the meet is sorted, i'll let you know.
