I'm now leaving this thread until tomorrow. I can't take it no more with game chitter-chatter, have to wait until tomorrow morning to get my mits on it.
-
Never played one before, so i'm going in fresh to the series.
-
There's a patch coming tomorrow, which contains 5 further hours of content over the next few weeks. And the Coles Legacy DLC as well.

If both versions are completely different games (like Liberation's is to III) then both will likely be a purchase. But, i have this feeling that they won't be completely different. More like a lesser version of the latter, like Driveclub was getting a free PS+ version (with less content) and a paid version (with all content)

I've got my flexi at work to a point that i can start taking early finishes again, meaning as long as i can get the Thursdays off early i will be able to join in with league matches. And i'm quite alarmed, with 2 months (or so) to go that not a whole lot has been revealed about the game. I know more about Smash Brothers than this, and that doesn't have a release date (as of yet).

Users Accidentally Buy Items on PS4 PSN Store Using DualShock 4 for PS3
Jimbob replied to flameboy's topic in Other Consoles
It's kind of funny, the person in question left both consoles on. Problem could have been prevented if the PS4 was turned off. Sony should refund the costs as the controller was not properly sync'd to the PS3 at the time. And yes, i do use my X360 controller on my PC. But i use a wired one over wireless. -
Sure, i've only just started building the Gameboy Advance list and one or two Gamecube titles. So here goes Gameboy Advance (Console) Metroid Fuson Metroid Zero Mission Super Mario Advance Sonic Advance Star Wars: Rouge Squadren II Starfox Adventures That's how it stands at present, it's sure to change over the coming days.

I've started building a list of retro titles on Amazon which i plan on picking up over the year. Basically, re-building my old collection of games and consoles i used to own but either sold on due to finances, or was stolen. Currrently got a list of over 30 items, ranging from Gamecube games to Gameboy games. Probably the first thing i'll pick up will be a Gameboy Advance, so i can replay Minish Cap. And as the GBA is backwards compatible with previous Gameboy games, shouldn't be a problem getting these.

I'm inciling towards a Rummy lynch, 2 nights of a mysterious shield resulting in no-one being able to reach yourself. Plus add on the fact from earlier resulting in me basically blowing his power earlier. Actually, Vote: Rummy
-
@Rummy, you were my night 1 target. But a shield thingy prevented me from achieving my night actions.

Recently finished Tomb Raider Exactly the same game as in 2013, just with more polished graphics and some minor additions to the game play

Moments in Gaming That Have Blown You Away
Jimbob replied to Goron_3's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Ditto, it's on my list of games to replay. May even pick-up the Trilogy set on the Wii (if i can find it anywhere, and i know i have to pay top dollar for it these days) -
I view this thread on a "dated" browswer, so shall view the video once i get home. Happy St Patricks Day all (Irish or not) of N-Europe.

Cancelled my order over the weekend, been meaning to. I don't see the point of buying a 3-4 hour intro to a game. I'd rather wait for the inevitable "complete edition" when Phantom Pain comes out.
-
Day off booked, gonna be a good weekend.
-
@The Peeps, yes the snake was my doing last night. To summerise, my power is that of a target swapper.
-
I'll be assuming the no PM thing means night actions were successful? Any who, my actions were a success last night. Peeps was my target.

Nice to hear the German National Anthem that did not feature Vettel at the podium. As much as i don't like seeing cars retiring, if it features Vettel then i don't mind. Ok, it wasn't an all-out classic race. But this race can only improve things later in the season, i reckon by Silverstone we'll have all the cars fine-tuned and give out 110% performance and have a good race. Unlucky for Hamilton, who knows what the race would have bought if his car was at 100%. Still, nice win for Rosberg. And congrats to Ricciardo on his debut for Red Bull and Magnusson for McLaren, both have got a bright future in the sport. Watched it via Sky Sports (recorded it). But when i can watch the Live races, the coverage sounds more impressive this year than last. Near enough a camera on each car, replays whenever you want. Edit: Just read Ricciardo's been DQ'd. Magnusson and Button shift up a place each, so not too shabby. 2 McLaren drivers on the podium.

Another issue with call centre work, is that the customers (especially in my line of business) expect to have their hands held and guided through everything. For example, if i ask for a full estimate for the Current Year (13/14 tax year) before and after any changes, they give you an hourly rate, and number of hours and say "work it out for me". Sorry people, that is not my job. And that isn't what i asked.

Do the words "Kill it with Fire" mean anything?

Xpert 11 Season 30: The End of History, The Era of One Champion
Jimbob replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
Put me down in the friendly cup, there is no chance i'm making the top 4 this season. I'm focusing on getting a team built. -
Most of that list i've completed. Actually, what am i saying. I've done it all on that list.

Everyone (i think) knows about my woes with my job. The main part of my job i hate the most (and which is why i can relate to ReZ's "Call Centre" videos he makes) is the customers and management. Oh, and the fact it's a phone-based job. Anyone who works in a call centre will know that customers can be bloody annoying, down right stupid and complain about the simplest of things (including the process to do whatever it is they want doing). I've been told consistently to cheer up and change my mood/attitude by various people, but i simply cannot do that. Job is meaningless, boring and not "challenging" in anyway shape or form. In recent weeks as i've mentioned, they were basically "forcing" people to apply for their own jobs as a way to stop paying a redundancy. And they kept changing their minds in what was being done, to the point being that no-one has a clue with what is going on. And in the last week, they turned around and offered anyone whom wants the redundancy (including those whom actually "applied" and had the job offered + accepted) to turn down the offer and take the money (which is my boat). But i was warned that by doing this, you are risking even getting the money as they'll use it as a way (again) to stop paying it. As they'll say they offered work but you refused it. I hate the job, and i wish i never accepted it 2 years 9 months ago. Oh, and it's a "fixed term contract" which has been extended in 6 month stages since June 2011. I have decided that if (and i pray i'm not) i'm still there in 6 months time, i'll quit. But to be fair, i'm border-lining that now.

I'm holding off, like Yvonne i too would like to hear a little bit from Rummy. We are only 1 night phase down, plus i see no point in lynching DuD as it stands.
