So it seems that the crashes are getting fixed. From reddit: It won't fix the game but it's good that they get this fix up and running before the physical version hits the shelves.
  2. Wow. That's a good question - albeit hard to ever answer yes to, isn't it? But no, I probably won't get better quality of life by changing. I don't think I had already decided when I wrote the above post but I am trying to be all pros and cons about it. And yes, the cons may outweigh the pros on this one. It's a high trade off for learning something that I want and need to learn (software development in a modern environment). The problem is that I think the new company is a great match for me, that's what makes this really hard for me. I think I'm about 60-40 on staying where I am.

Finished the game now. The final boss was indeed a better fight than the rest. But 3/5.

I am reaching the final boss now so want to give some thoughts on the game. While it is charming, I found it getting tedious towards the end. There really isn't much in the game and what's there is not overly challenging or much fun to actually do. The bigger battles especially are really not difficult because of anything else than lackluster fighting mechanics. Geddy is useful but weak, and the muscet is way to slow to do anything. So it's more or less spamming ZR until your fingers hurt - don't play in handheld mode. Then there are a few riddles but they aren't really anything but a delay in the game. Furthermore, the game has crashed five times for me. I've played for 5 hours or so. That's really not good enough, especially since nothing was going on at those times. Also had the single digit framerate at the lava boss. Overall, it's charming, the story is fine, the setting is interesting, and the characters are good. The game itself isn't that good but luckily it's short. That makes it way too pricey, though. At this price I would expect something more.
  5. Yeah, I agree, someone else I probably handling it but from the update It sounds like it still involves them a lot.
  6. I'll get Fe for sure. May buy Blossom Tales as well. Was hoping that Celeste and Yooka Laylee were on the list as well but alas. A shame that I've already bought Owlboy just a few days ago but that's life, and thankfully it isn't a crazy discount on that.
  7. Sigh. Is it really necessary to spend time on languages? Bugs and FPS, sure, spend time on that. But adding 10 languages seems a bit unnecessary.
  8. Had my second interview today with the new job. It went very well, and it still sounds good but I'm really in doubt whether I should change job or not. I just got a raise at my current job and the new place can't or won't match that. They can only match my current salary. It is a 4 % raise so it's noticeable. It's really unusual that you don't get a higher salary when changing job in the IT business. They do give raises, though most.likely not as significant as 4 %. In my current place, I believe I'll get yearly raises for a few more years to come. Then there is the issue that I won't be having as many vacation days the new place. Currently I have 35 vacation days a year and 5 days less in the new job. We have a 25 days minimum in Denmark so still better than that at least. Then I will spend more time commuting every day. And probably won't be biking every day anymore because 13-15 km each way is a bit much. Overall, I'll be losing some welfare by changing. However, the work is in a far more modern, young and challenging area. I'm not being challenged anymore in my current position and my manager doesn't know what to do. It sounds like a good place to work when they talk about it and what I hear from the ones I know there. So, yeah, I don't really know what to do. I'll probably have to give an answer just before or just after Easter next week.
  9. I enjoyed it very much on 3DS, the map on the top screen is really nice to have available during gameplay. I think the Switch is a bit too bulky for this game to be enjoyed properly as you basically play it with one hand. Just note that the stylus may scratch your screen a little.
  10. I guess this will feature at E3 then.
  11. Nice. I've heard good things about that. Wonder why it wasn't in the Nindies presentation...?
  12. Not coming to Switch was last I heard about it. https://nintendoeverything.com/a-hat-in-time-developer-says-the-game-is-not-coming-to-switch/
  13. I just think the games on display looked lacking in quality. There were some good announcements there - Mark of the Ninja Remastered, Banner Saga, Garage exclusive to Switch, and some swear that Lumines Remastered is fantastic news. There just wasn't really anything for me and that's fine. However, the presentation itself was boring as hell, especially coming from the back of the last Direct which was packed with good stuff and had a fantastic pace. Also, as H-o-T says, the lack of solid dates is weird - especially since some of them actually have. Light Fall is out in april, Garage May 10th.
  14. Well.. That was .. Well, not really anything for me. Mark of the Ninja is fantastic, though, but already played that to death on Xbox.
  15. I don't think that was meant to be revealed at this show but well, they could have provided the full list of games - hopefully that'll come later today. Is there a European stream?`Can't find any other than the one from US.

  18. Are there any juicy rumours? I haven't seen much during these days but may have missed something?

Actually just started this game yesterday, put 45 minutes into it or such. Really feeling it. I think I failed the first challenge with the water jug and I was like "what?" after that sequence. You instantly feel sorry for him but it's fun. I don't think the controls are that hard, though, quite standard. I'm looking forward to progressing the game and story tonight.
  20. Stick with the five reps and go with a little less weight - I don't know how Stronglift goes about it but you can, if you fail at the last rep or something, go with the same weight until you fail and then lower it for the rest of the sets. So if you fail rep 5 at your 3rd set, do the 4th and 5th sets with 2.5 kg less. It's all about the total volume that you lift and 15 reps with 30 kg + 10 reps with 27.5 > 25 reps with 27.5 kg.
  21. Hmm. I've never seen anyone fail at other points? You don't fail when going down, and you can usually go a little way up before the strain is too much and you fail. It's always the point where it's almost there that I, and the people I see, fail. Or most people don't fail going down. Looks crazy!
  22. 349 for me but that's the same price. And it went through. It's probably something about the credit card being European and Russia being in Europe. So that's good enough for me.
  23. I'm with Glen-i here, Squirtle is clearly the manliest of the first three starters. That or extremely butch.
