They had several games last year, didn't they? They had a Direct at least which is more than two years ago where they only had Zelda.
-
Someone cut out the silhuettes. Can't see the second from the left but apart from that, it looks like what is to be expected at this point.
-
Did you hear it first and just assume it was called Fractured Butthole? Or read it and never say it out loud? The last, I think. And then I thought the title was a reference to something somewhere that I didn't know of and that was why people found it funny. It's honestly a bit embarrassing. XD

No, it's physical in Europe. https://nintendoeverything.com/one-piece-pirate-warriors-3-deluxe-edition-for-switch-coming-west-in-may/

A release alongside the release of online is a dead certainty. Anything else would be weird.

I though Pikmin 4 was supposed to be Hey! Pikmin.
-
Seems like they finalized the title now. About time.

It was rumoured back in March last year but the fact that it's been rumoured for so long without being announced has made people immune to the rumours and thus, it was a surprise. And it was a pleasant reveal. Will look into it! Also, and this bothers me. This is the first time I understand the title... and it's so funny! Couldn't stop laughing when it occured to me late last night.

A port would be fine if they add a lot of stuff - like a single player mode, some proper online and some new characters and items, perhaps a few new stages. I would be totally fine with that. My only concern is whether to go digital with this or not. I regret not going digital with MK8DX because I don't want to bring the cartridge around but with this, I can't see myself playing much in handheld mode because I'm afraid of breaking the console or the JoyCon attachers! Thus, it wouldn't matter if I went digital, even though it would be nice to just be able to start it anytime.

Oh, come on, this is crazy!?! CRAZY!

April 26th if this leak is to be believed. http://www.siliconera.com/2018/03/08/mario-tennis-aces-pearl-marina-amiibo-dillons-rolling-western-release-dates-leaked-japan/

Oh yeah, a release date for Hollow Knight would be nice.
-
I expect nothing about online. Nothing at all. Plenty of info on Mario Tennis and Yoshi Flip Side or whatever it was called. They'll probably show Kirby Star Allies as well. Hoping for Smash 4 announcement and some good singleplayer-games not from indies. That would be nice. I'm intrigued by what they could possibly show for 3DS. It's been a while since that saw new software.

It's a measure of your strength. For instance, before beginning some programme like stronglift, you try to go all out and see what you can lift. Then do the programme for like 3 months and try to lift as heavy as you can again. It makes it easy to see the gains and should motivate you somewhat. It's also easier to compare to others (though that in itself doesn't make sense). For other programmes and more advanced weightlifting, you should also try to increase the weights based on a percentage of your 1RM. You lift 1RM on day 1, in the following weeks you then progress by doing some sets at some percentage of that 1RM. In olympics, 1RM is all that counts.
-
Ah, that made sense. So if you did 50 kg deadlift and only noted down the 30 kg, then it would of course tell you to start with 15-ish kg. And thus, your 1RM shoulder press was about 32 kg?
-
Didn't see the picture before (my work computer blocks images from image hosting sites...). It seems a bit weird that you should only lift 6 kg but I really assume it's the total weight. What does it calculate the weights from? What are your 1RM on shoulder press and deadlift? From the site: https://stronglifts.com/5x5/#Starting_Weights So 17 kg. on deadlift seems very low to me.
-
RM = Repetition Maximum - the max number of repetitions with a given weight. 1RM is the load that you can lift once. 2RM is twice, etc. PR is Personal Record. Also called PB - personal best. You always include the bar (20 kg). Anything else doesn't make sense - you measure the total weight that you lift.

I haven't bought it but I don't feel like I'm left out for now. They get some items but that's about it. When the new side-quests and story quests arrive, though, I may be tempted to buy it.
-
Just started Chapter 10. I'll definitely not get all rare blades, only the ones I can get from side quests. Still need about 10, I think, and the grind to get them and the reward for doing so makes it just not worth it.

Actually, yes. That is exactly what is coded into my time registration program. If I take the position that is. Problem is, I don't know if I want to when the sole difference is a question of tools and languages.
-
Yes, they will give me the training I need to learn the new tools and languages (Java is not new to me but I haven't used it in such a setting before).

Had an interview Friday. It went really well, I think, and it seems like a good place to work. However, I have a couple of things holding me back: 1. It's a consultancy which means that there is no limit to how much they work. On paper, they are flexible and try to average the working hours out (in Denmark, we have 37 hours a week in general) but in reality, this is often like "You work till you're done" which is far more than the normal working hours. This is not so nice when you have a family, I think. 2. I don't think the work will be much different from what I do now. The main difference is that it's much newer and more modern. Their idea is that I will go work at a place who has bought the product (SaaS) and has to customize it to fit the needs at that place. This is a place which is very similar to my current workplace so yeah, I will probably just do the same kind of work. I'm not sure if that is what I want... but the newer tools, practices and platforms do tempt me. I think the problem is that I don't know exactly what I want and thus I don't know if I can get it at the place I'm currently working.

After giving birth to a son with a genetic disease, my wife and I was encouraged to talk to a gene specialist to talk about how the the genes are inherited. It seems that I have the disease as well but it's not active for some reason. Therefore, I didn't know that I had it. This means that there is a 50 % chance that our next children will have the disease which is a bit much. The disease is not bad enough to warrant abortion but it's bad enough to possibly influence the life of the holder if it's active. So that sucks. It is possible to get artificial insemination, though, where the cells that have the gene are removed which should lower the risk significantly, but it's still a bit of a bummer all in all.
