Had time to go to the gym yesterday and not attend a class. It was nice to do some simple lifting and just chill. Did 5x5 backsquats (70-70-76-76-82 kg without too much trouble), 5x5 shoulder press (30-36-36-38-38 and struggling the last) and 3x5 deadlift (100-110-110) and with 4-5 pulups between each set throughout. It was generally tough but I was surprised that I hadn't lost that much weight on my 5's.

I look forward to starting my new job in September. The place I'm working now (when I'm not on paternity leave) is falling apart. During my leave, two more employees quit and while they have hired 5 more new people, it's just not enough for me to see what the future there would hold. So I'm glad I decided to go with it and go to the new place. Two weeks ago, they had their annual summer party there and I was of course invited. It was such a contrast to party with these people, they were young for one thing, and they seem to match my interests a bit better. However, they love foosball, they even have an internal ranking system. I guess I have to learn that game a bit better or just... lose all the time. May go for the last part... Just ordered my equipment. I'm getting a MacBook Pro 15" (it was that or a Dell XPS 15) and a new OnePlus 6 phone (I could choose any phone and don't want iPhone).

I'm currently watching the second season now, have just finished episode 8. I must say, this is terrible. This is far, far from Game of Thrones storywise, though production value and acting levels are high. The story this time around is just simply a mess, it's boring and the split focus and timeline don't work this time.

There is a 25 % discount on Switch eShop for this. May pick it up then.

Just got this game, found it in a local mart for about £5. Looking forward to trying it out, though I found the first game fun for only a short amount of time.
-
Apparently Luminescent Remastered has some impressive use of it. Hollow.Knight actually uses it very well in more subtle ways.
-
Just curious, what is very off-putting in your mind?
-
You can say that, yes. I haven't played ituch but I doubt that it integrates with the main story at all.
-
No. The DLC is a separate save file. And you start from scratch building Rabbid Peach.
-
No such charm, unfortunately. But it gets quicker to fill it later on due to enemies becoming stronger.
-
Yay, done! Beat the true final boss just now, it wasn't so hard actually. Just had to find the right strategy and be good at dodging.
-
There is a discount for Owlboy these days. However, I've got to say that I didn't enjoy it past the initial couple of hours. There isn't much to it and while it's charming it's just not really fun to play.
-
Input lag? Never noticed that at all. Been playing mostly with the Pro Controller but sometimes in handheld and haven't had any problems. Regarding Geo, you quickly get a lot so go spend it when you have enough to buy what you want. Just be careful. Just beat the Final Boss, not the true version though. 41 hours! I guess that'll be 43 after beating the true final boss...

Spent ages looking for the last Charm Notch yesterday, like more than an hour, only to realise that I already had it - I just hadn't used it so it was dark and thus, I couldn't see it on the screen... Well. Apart from that, I only need to collect a lot of Geo to upgrade the fragiles to unbreakables and then defeat the final boss. Did the Grimm DLC yesterday except the nightmare-fight, I don't think I'm going to bother with that as it's supposed to be harder than any other boss in the game... and I think some of the bosses were super hard! Edit: Well, got the Geo and am now going for the final boss. I have 104 % completion.

Damn you've got some Stardust!
-
The harder versions of the bosses are meant as endgame content. So I'd you can't beat it now, don't fret. Get upgrades and charms for those rights. You can sell the stuff without any problems. However, only do so if you have something you need to spend the money on as you may lose all the money suddenly. For your second question. Try it out. Something happens.

Team Cherry is working on a physical release, they said that in their AMA on Reddit - https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/8swt8n/were_team_cherry_and_we_just_released_hollow/ I didn't plan on trying the Colosseum's trial 2 so soon but I need the prize from that so will try it out at some point. Also found a new area that you can't get a map of, and found a map that shows Grubs so will be collecting them now.

Can you add friends when you are below level 40 yet?

@Sméagol Limbo is challenging so if you think that Inside needed more challenge, I think you would like Limbo. It's more of a puzzle game in fact and some of the puzzles are really hard and rewarding. I haven't played Inside, though, so can't compare them.
-
Haven't tried Inside so will pick that up when I have the time again.
-
Alrighty then, I think I can go to the final boss now - but I won't! Hah! I have now bought every map and have thus seen every area which is nice. Now to explore them, fight the warrior dreams, find the mask upgrades (I need three more pieces), three pale ores, and the last charms and charm notches. Oh, and I need to beat the Colosseum of Fools level 2 and 3 - I suppose they are really hard? Summing up the numbers in the Parental App it seems that I've spend more than nearly 30 hours to get to this point. And I've got some help from time to time when I was utterly lost.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker ( Switch + 3DS 13th July 2018 )
MindFreak replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Seems like they replaced the Super Mario 3D World-levels from the Switch-version with Super Mario Odyssey-levels. I guess that indicates that they are not (thinking about) porting Super Mario 3D World. I must admit that I have no idea what the requirements for fighting the final boss are - or what/who the final boss is. I think the story in the game is rather vague and I'm unsure why I'm even there. But it's certain that there is something "wrong" in Hallownest and that you are there to figure out what it is. I've found the Grimm Troupe. I think that's once of the DLC-packs. I don't know when to do that.

Well, the bosses I've met were hard but never unfair and my deaths were on me or from something unexpected from the boss that you are able to foresee once you've tried the boss a couple of times. Some bosses are hard at a certain point but after a few upgrades they become easier and thus, sometimes you just have to leave in order to come back later. The same goes for the platforming, some sections are really hard but again, deaths are on you even though some places are a bit cheap with spikes or similar traps in certain places.
