  1. Spent ages looking for the last Charm Notch yesterday, like more than an hour, only to realise that I already had it - I just hadn't used it so it was dark and thus, I couldn't see it on the screen... Well. Apart from that, I only need to collect a lot of Geo to upgrade the fragiles to unbreakables and then defeat the final boss. Did the Grimm DLC yesterday except the nightmare-fight, I don't think I'm going to bother with that as it's supposed to be harder than any other boss in the game... and I think some of the bosses were super hard! Edit: Well, got the Geo and am now going for the final boss. I have 104 % completion.
  2. The harder versions of the bosses are meant as endgame content. So I'd you can't beat it now, don't fret. Get upgrades and charms for those rights. You can sell the stuff without any problems. However, only do so if you have something you need to spend the money on as you may lose all the money suddenly. For your second question. Try it out. Something happens.
  3. Team Cherry is working on a physical release, they said that in their AMA on Reddit - https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/8swt8n/were_team_cherry_and_we_just_released_hollow/ I didn't plan on trying the Colosseum's trial 2 so soon but I need the prize from that so will try it out at some point. Also found a new area that you can't get a map of, and found a map that shows Grubs so will be collecting them now.
  4. Can you add friends when you are below level 40 yet?
  5. @Sméagol Limbo is challenging so if you think that Inside needed more challenge, I think you would like Limbo. It's more of a puzzle game in fact and some of the puzzles are really hard and rewarding. I haven't played Inside, though, so can't compare them.
  6. Haven't tried Inside so will pick that up when I have the time again.
  7. Alrighty then, I think I can go to the final boss now - but I won't! Hah! I have now bought every map and have thus seen every area which is nice. Now to explore them, fight the warrior dreams, find the mask upgrades (I need three more pieces), three pale ores, and the last charms and charm notches. Oh, and I need to beat the Colosseum of Fools level 2 and 3 - I suppose they are really hard? Summing up the numbers in the Parental App it seems that I've spend more than nearly 30 hours to get to this point. And I've got some help from time to time when I was utterly lost.
  8. Seems like they replaced the Super Mario 3D World-levels from the Switch-version with Super Mario Odyssey-levels. I guess that indicates that they are not (thinking about) porting Super Mario 3D World. 9. I must admit that I have no idea what the requirements for fighting the final boss are - or what/who the final boss is. I think the story in the game is rather vague and I'm unsure why I'm even there. But it's certain that there is something "wrong" in Hallownest and that you are there to figure out what it is. I've found the Grimm Troupe. I think that's once of the DLC-packs. I don't know when to do that.
  10. Well, the bosses I've met were hard but never unfair and my deaths were on me or from something unexpected from the boss that you are able to foresee once you've tried the boss a couple of times. Some bosses are hard at a certain point but after a few upgrades they become easier and thus, sometimes you just have to leave in order to come back later. The same goes for the platforming, some sections are really hard but again, deaths are on you even though some places are a bit cheap with spikes or similar traps in certain places.
  11. Well, it requires you to be good or best friends to send shinies so that pretty much stops those sales. I don't care for trading. I'd rather have PvP battles.
  12. Yup, about 14 hours in at this moment. I'll just spoiler-tag my progress. Overall, I understand the praise of the game, the atmosphere is amazing and the game is generally satisfying and well thought out. However, checkpoints are too far between, which may be intentional but it's still irritating - especially if you die in a place where you haven't found the bench and didn't just sit on the nearest bench before said area, then you have to go through a lot to get back again. Fast-travel is nice but again too far between. Also agree with @Grazza about the darkness, it's overall a bit dim - but not as much as Battle Chasers. The lamp also helps on this.
  13. I did the exact same thing!! Didn't die though so ent back and died just before the entrance instead.
  14. Oh, I menat true fast-travel. Instant. Where you don't have to go to a specific place that can be a bit far from here you are. Hmm. You lost your 1000 Geo? You just have to kill the ghost of you in the room you died to get them back, you know that right? It's even marked on the map with two white dots.
  15. Yeah, I agree a little, it's easy to get lost. Getting the map and compass help a lot, though, but I wish there was fast travel. I die a lot, it's actually harder than it looks, especially the combat, meeting a new enemy almost certainly kills me because they act differently all the time. I'm getting the hang of it, though. I'm about three hours in, having defeated two real bosses and been to three places. The vibe of the game is fantastic and it runs smoothly.
  16. But then why not show a trailer or give it a title in the direct?
  17. Not sure at all then. I just pressed play... But it happened once that I tried to kill someone who just wouldn't die. I then found out that it probably was a squad match and the other one was on my team. Then I got shot by three others that I met. They were not on my team, I guess. I think the game could benefit from a tutorial... What am I supposed to build? It's apparently a big part of the game.
  18. That seems a bit weird in solo matches.
  19. I just tried it. I was terrible. First couple of matches I tried to find out what was going on. I didn't find a weapon until my third match and I couldn't hit my opponent then. I didn't realise I wasn't dead when I was lying on the ground, though. What a weird mechanic - crawling around without the chance to do anything? It seemed to perform well enough for me, though, no lag or anything. Maybe it's the internet? I changed it in the options so that I only play against people in Europe.
  20. I hate the title. It's so childish and simple. I hate it. But I like what I see. A lot.
  21. Downloading it now. I never tried it, never seen much of it but I know my smaller brother enjoys it (on PS4 so no playing against him).
  22. Ridley announcement separated from the Direct:
