  1. Yeah, that list is very grounded with a few additions that make sense. Nothing too spectacular.
  2. Opening up? I wish I had thought of that... So no. I'm not hating the battle system yet. It do like the little puzzle but I'd prefer it if there wasn't any timer. Luckily, pressing X freezes time and keeps the battlefield in view so I use that sometimes. Other than that, though, I find the game a bit trivial and more or less a copy - paste of Colour Splash. Hope it ramps up as I'm only three hours in.
  3. I think I got interrupted too often during the first hour. Explaining the battle system twice was a bit much but apart from that, it was fine. I look forward to the game opening up a bit more.
  4. I agree. Paper Mario was announced on May 14th - just a few days before the release of Xenoblade. It would make sense for them to announce something very soon because we know just about nothing about upcoming games now.
  5. Rumours are flying about a Direct on Monday, July 20th. However, I'm sceptical - has there ever been a DIrect on a Monday?
  6. Embargo has been lifted:
  7. So many deaths these days!
  8. To be fair, most LEGO for adults is just for show. The LEGO Architecture sets spring to mind. It's cool but I'm too cheap to buy it. Same with First 4 Figures - they are really neat and I do want them but I can't bring myself to spend the money on them. If I were living by myself with the money I have now, then maybe.
  9. You can get an idea of the size from these two pictures:
  10. From the ResetEra thread. I assume this means a rom or similar.
  11. You are on the first page in the link.....
  12. A rom of the game (ResetEra-link - spoilers inside) has been put online. I don't know if you need the game on the Switch for that to happen or if someone has got hold of the actual cart it's on or something like that. I would assume the latter.
  13. This. I feel that social media are terrible for sober discussions and I much prefer forums. Just the fact that I can quote some part of what others have written is really important for a discussion to take place with fewer misunderstandings. However, SoMe are good for getting news out and spreading something, and it's also a good, central place with lots and lots of users that can draw in more users in "discussions". It's just a very sensitive place to discuss something as I feel that people take posts there much more personally. Thet don't hide behind an avatar and fake name, meaning that it becomes much less anonymous than on a forum (where the tone generally is nicer, though).
  14. The game's ending and last dungeon, the length of the game and stuff has been leaked. *sigh*
  15. Oh... That wasn't worth the hype. Nope.
  16. Why have such a long break in a live stream? Just put on some trailers or something at least.
  17. One step further away again.
  18. A parent to another child in the day care had it (she's a nurse) a little while ago. So that's one I know of. Also, my wife's a medical doctor and another doctor at the place she worked had it and died from it (63 years old, way too early, but he had some old leukemia that rose to the surface again). Then a few other doctors and nurses at the place she worked had it but never got any real symptoms and my wife was never infected. So yeah, not many that I know of. Here in Denmark testing has been quite extensive for the past couple of months and they only found a few cases so it seems to have disappeared more or less as people have had attention to it so that's good. Now it's more likely to win in the national lottery than finding a person with an active CoVid-19 disease.
  19. I've been working from home from March 11th. Tomorrow I'll be back to our headquarters to work from there as I have to meet up with a new colleague to tell him about a subject that I know something about. I'm looking forward to going, it'll be nice to see my colleagues again and have some decent lunch. However, I'm enjoying working from home quite a lot. I have a decent setup and it's very flexible for me to work from home, can usually have dinner ready earlier in the afternoon and stuff. The everyday is so less stressful because of this so will definitely keep working from home some days every week.
  20. I'll probably pick up CrossCode but not right now as I'll l get to review Paper Mario once that's released and don't want to leave CrossCode behind for that.
  21. Probably due to the heavy amount of leaks from the past releases, Nintendo has decided to not hand out pre-release review codes to smaller vendors, even though their track record is great. That means that in the future, we won't see reviews from many sources before the game is out. This really sucks and it kind of kills smaller websites and communities a bit, while also limiting the consumers to get a broad idea of how good a game is before its release. I hope Nintendo turns around on this decision.
  22. There's an English dubbing. If you can live with the lip movement being weird, I think it's alright. We watch it in German as we are used to hearing German (we are taught German in primary school).
  23. Five episodes in and I'm having trouble understanding why they need 21 more episodes to tell this story. But I guess there'll be some twists and turns that make the story deeper. Up until now it's been fun guessing (our guess about the father was correct) and figuring out who's related to whom and how. It's still very exciting to watch.
  24. So this applies to all retailers. NintendoLife got a statement: As I understand it, you can still buy a physical box with a download code in it.
  25. What? Why can't I find any other source of that? So this means that in the future, you can only buy your Nintendo games digitally from Switch eShop? Or does this only concern ShopTo?
