  1. I have a pair of tights where the pockets run down along my thigh on the outside with plenty of room for a phone and without it bouncing. Something like that could perhaps be an idea?
  2. I have a Garmin Forerunner 235. Its totally fine although it has a hard time measuring my pulse correctly. GPS wise and function wise, it's quite good, though.
  3. Running on softer materials is better wrt. impact, yes. Naturally. However, it's also much harder on the muscles. If you have periostitis or shin-splints it's also better to run in the water (just about ankle deep) for the same reason.
  4. Barefoot running (or natural running) has more impact on the ancle but less on the knees and hips. What @bob says is true, though, just like injuries from boxing got worse when they introduced the padded gloves. Without gloves, you can't hit as hard without injuring yourself. It's crazy how many people just tie some shoes and go for a run without any proper guidance and thus, you see all sorts of running styles and some of those will definitely hurt them in the end. I received some guidance when I was younger and try to remember that - I aim for a midfoot landing as heel landing is too slow for me (and made my knees hurt) and forefoot is only for sprinting.
  5. Demo for Cris Tales coming today (arrived yesterday in the US)
  6. Netflix released Cursed just before the weekend - has anyone seen anything from it? It has been review bombed quite a lot on IMDb so it's impossible to use that for guidance - people complain for the most part that it's a different take on the Excalibur and King Arthur stories, it seems. Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 73 % which seems to be more accurate. Anyway - anyone seen it and can give an honest opinion?
  7. They should have had more games. If you have 8 minutes, don't spend 2 minutes on each game. And don't announce it beforehand, just release it without warning. I don't care for Cadence or SMT so was nothing of interest for me. That's fine. But I hope this is followed up by another presentation soon.
  8. Even with the lowest expectations that was bad. Cool with the update and good news for SMT fans but otherwise very weak.
  9. I'm enjoying the battles more than I expected to. Still want to avoid them for the most part but they aren't as bad as I expected them to be. The boss battles are fine as well. Just entered the second temple after 6 hours. Its quite beautiful and such but I still find it a bit trivial and I don't care much for the toads, only finding the obvious ones. I'm surprised, though. Went through my friend list to see who is playing it and none of those online within the last 3 days had it on their list - that was 18 people who are usually up to beat.
  10. Well, that was weird. But alright. Looking forward to it. It'll be 10 minutes long.
  11. Yeah, that list is very grounded with a few additions that make sense. Nothing too spectacular.
  12. Opening up? I wish I had thought of that... So no. I'm not hating the battle system yet. It do like the little puzzle but I'd prefer it if there wasn't any timer. Luckily, pressing X freezes time and keeps the battlefield in view so I use that sometimes. Other than that, though, I find the game a bit trivial and more or less a copy - paste of Colour Splash. Hope it ramps up as I'm only three hours in.
  13. I think I got interrupted too often during the first hour. Explaining the battle system twice was a bit much but apart from that, it was fine. I look forward to the game opening up a bit more.
  14. I agree. Paper Mario was announced on May 14th - just a few days before the release of Xenoblade. It would make sense for them to announce something very soon because we know just about nothing about upcoming games now.
  15. Rumours are flying about a Direct on Monday, July 20th. However, I'm sceptical - has there ever been a DIrect on a Monday?
  16. To be fair, most LEGO for adults is just for show. The LEGO Architecture sets spring to mind. It's cool but I'm too cheap to buy it. Same with First 4 Figures - they are really neat and I do want them but I can't bring myself to spend the money on them. If I were living by myself with the money I have now, then maybe.
  17. You can get an idea of the size from these two pictures:
  18. From the ResetEra thread. I assume this means a rom or similar.
  19. You are on the first page in the link.....
  20. A rom of the game (ResetEra-link - spoilers inside) has been put online. I don't know if you need the game on the Switch for that to happen or if someone has got hold of the actual cart it's on or something like that. I would assume the latter.
  21. This. I feel that social media are terrible for sober discussions and I much prefer forums. Just the fact that I can quote some part of what others have written is really important for a discussion to take place with fewer misunderstandings. However, SoMe are good for getting news out and spreading something, and it's also a good, central place with lots and lots of users that can draw in more users in "discussions". It's just a very sensitive place to discuss something as I feel that people take posts there much more personally. Thet don't hide behind an avatar and fake name, meaning that it becomes much less anonymous than on a forum (where the tone generally is nicer, though).
  22. The game's ending and last dungeon, the length of the game and stuff has been leaked. *sigh*
