I wish this wasn't so far away! I would buy a PS4 for this and Arkham Knight without a second thought about deals or whatever.

Guardian of Light is one of my favourite co-op games ever, and now in 4 player? That's pretty awesome. Few games capture the idea of having to think quickly and work together to survive traps etc.. I understand sticking with the old Lara design for the sake of continuity in this series, but if I had any complaint it would be that it looks a bit dated/bland. Perhaps the visuals will get quite a touch-up before it hits the virtual shelves.

Man that Mass Effect music. There's nothing quite like it. Didn't realise how much I wanted more from that series until I heard it again.

Not giving them enough credit there tbf. A "typical" MS conference is an embarrassing mess cut into TV TV SPORTS SPORTS SPORTS and made into memes. Whilst they didn't have a lot of revelations, for fans of big franchises there was certainly lots of nice new footage, and for once they kept their dignity and focussed on games.

All Microsoft really need to do to win back the crowd is go Games, Games, Games. If they don't, if it's all TV shows and sports again, they'll have truly dropped the ball.

I'm working a normal 9-5 job but I'll still be able to watch them all. Except Sony which I don't care quite enough to stay up til gone 3am for :p It's not really that strange that it's so late, LA is 8 hours behind.

Whenever somebody finds something like, this, why are the pics so low res? :p who's even carrying around a camera this low quality these days? On the other hand, why would you make up this? It could be real just because it would be such an unlikely, pointless fake.

Well impressed with the new Quick Start, you can sign in and start a game so fast since it's seemingly using software stored on the Gamepad before the Wii U has even fully booted up.

Oh, some kind of games expo? Probably not a big deal...

Actually I think this game breaks the cycle in that it just looks a bit shit from the outset. And it still annoys me when everyone else can keep up with Sonic.

You may be right, but to me it seems like they've just gone out of their way to make it look that way. If it was actual gameplay, they'd proudly state that at the beginning.

Not a lot to go on from a CG vid, but it would be pretty special if the next gen world of fighters looked close to that good.

Such a great fun game. Been a while since I've played a local competitive multiplayer that went into the wee hours because everyone just wanted "one more game". The map isn't a major gripe for me, but one thing we all found really stupid: if you want to switch from motion controls on a Wii-mote to regular controls, you have to do it in the pause menu, after the race has started!! That's just barmy.

We'll probably stick to the current boards again. In the past we used to have a specific board but lately its seemed less necessary. Typically we just turn off thread creation (or moderate new threads before they appear) so that we don't get duplicates.

It looks great, not that it really matters because its existence alone is enough to be happy about. There's going to be so many great games on the PS4. Eventually.

Hmm and I was going to try the MH demo before choosing, is the demo a poor representation of the game? I may have gone to work the rest of the day from home upon hearing this news :p

I've never tried Monster Hunter. I was going to get Pikmin, because I figured the MH buzz might've dried up a little. I'm not gonna lie, if my MK8 hasn't arrived today I'm going out and buying a second copy somewhere. Then I'll return the one that eventually arrives :p
