I just swap from charging the headset to controller constantly. Battery life on both is shocking so I'm always tethered to the thing one way or another.

That's annoying. I wonder if it's a different emblem with each class... Well in fairness it will be one of the most common emblems around.

Yeah it's not the case, you stay at level 34, the light from the items you have now is enough to be 34. Just experienced the "No Mercy" medal, where the game ends early because you're crushing them. And then even though it was already over... I kinda rubbed it in a bit.....

All the clan members are on PS4, I don't know if there are any Xbox One players.

So no feedback on Destiny 2.0? I'm not sure about Nolan North but in general the changes all seem overwhelming and awesome, and this is before the new content even hits! Just about to have my first game of Rift on Bannerfall Edit: so awesome Edit: Eva Levante has two new shaders for sale. Edit 2: shotguns still do the trick, The Last Word is still awesome too. Vanquisher felt under powered but a few people are using Suros again. Messenger wrecks, so do scout rifles, lots of MIDAs about. Rift is great, just lost a game where we were miles ahead, I had golden gun and killed everyone somehow except their runner, who tipped the score in an instant.

Don't forget there's a demo @Rummy. But... I read on reddit that right now the full vanilla game seems to be unlocked, or at least you can level up to 20.

It's unfortunate that a member was banned, it hasn't happened in a long, long time. But we made the rules about three red infractions and we have to stick to them, otherwise they lose all value. His last red was for being directly, intentionally rude to a member of staff. Posting a lot of news doesn't give you the right to be rude. I'll never understand why so many members make entire posts simply for the purpose of making another member feel bad, no matter how strongly you disagree with them. Being intentionally antagonistic like that, quoting people and breaking down what they say, peppering it with insults, isn't just breaking the rules, it's a disturbing, unsociable and unpleasant action, and I don't want people like that on here.

Does anyone know if TTK includes any changes to the arena combat? Not looking for specifics, just whether they've looked at it or not. Your early experience of the game will be awesome, because you won't have any of the things that niggle people who've basically played it into the ground over the last year (a lot of those things are being ironed out in the next major patch next week). Several players myself included will be wanting to re-do old missions and strikes to experience minor updates and the new voice actor that are being added in the DLC, so you can invite us along to your story missions at any time. Get on Party chat for banter/to ask us any questions but for the most part, I'd try not to have us day-one players interfere and complicate things too much. Many aspects of the gameplay I can't even tell you about, we'll be discovering a whole new levelling system, new collectible mechanics, new bounties, new events, new weapons, new armour, new weapon and armour levelling structures.... and I've personally kept myself completely in the dark about it. From what I remember hearing, you can also get yourself a temporary level boost to join us on the latest missions, strikes (3 man, longer missions with a boss battle) and raids (6 man), as well as the new public event stuff. You can jump into PvP pretty much as soon as you've unlocked your double jump and grenades. Level doesn't matter to damage dealt/received in most PvP modes. Ah... to never know the pain of running out of vault space... I envy you :p you're going to join when the PvP is (hopefully) the most balanced (at the moment everyone uses one of three handcannons and 1HK shotguns that have ridiculous range, nobody has touched an Assault rifle for months), the story is the most fleshed out and you're getting by far the best value for money.

I love this game to bits, but I'll never love it enough to farm for a grimoire card :p

Seconded, although it's usually £10 cheaper than that. What I would suggest to @Rummy is don't buy a £20 one, because the one drahkon linked is awesome, the one that comes with the system is passable, you don't want to spend money in the interim on something below average. PS. really you should just save your money and pre-order Destiny: The Taken King. Because when it launches is going to be literally the best time to play it. It will be so busy, so much to do, so many N-E people online Get other games at Christmas :p

I decided a while ago that I would have an MGS-a-thon, I completed the original MSX Metal Gear games and went through MGS1 for the hundredth time, but that bit of MGS2 I described above halted the entire experience for me....

I've got MGS2, never finished, MGS3, never played, and MGS4, played 15 mins. Should I try and plough through them all for the story's sake before getting this? Was thinking of a guide to make some progress on MGS2, since I found it a bit irritatingly clunky. I got to the point where you don't have a radar and the camera is zoomed right in, top down view, so you can't see enemies on the other side of the room even though you clearly would be able to see them >____>

I've been watching One Piece again lately, saved up 60 episodes and now I'm plowing through the Dress Rosa arc. One Piece has some amazing storytelling, so many characters interweaving, appearing for a moment at one point only for the significance of their appearance to be explained 20 episodes later. It's a shame the anime's pacing still absolutely sucks, but I can't give in and read the manga. It's always been about the voice actors for me
