Metroid Prime "Urgh, another uninspired first person shooter" I remember thinking about it, never having played a Metroid game before and not bothering to learn anything about it. Even when it got a 9.8 on IGN I wasn't impressed. But then a mate brought it round on the evening it was released. Guess which shop I went to the following day... Blown. Away.

Borderlands Played it to see why my mate was making such a fuss about it. Finished it, never really enjoyed it but it was playable. Just didn't want my mate to accuse me of not giving it a chance.

I'm sure it'll happen to me at some point. Pretty sure all we get is up to six months sick leave and counselling. A few years ago a guard at our depot jumped out of a moving train right into the path of an oncoming train driven by a driver who was also from our depot. Must have been even worse being someone he knew.

After four weeks training, had my first go at driving a train today. Got to the blistering speed of 5mph!! Wanted to go faster, but that was the speed limit on the depot where I drove. Can't wait to do it properly!

Is there any way of storing items for use in levels? Like you can do in SMB3 I think. There's a couple of levels where you need a certain suit to get a star but when you get it, and then die later in the level it really rips my shit that you can't restart the level as you were.

I enjoyed being able to do the crazy glitches in the first one. The chainsaw long jump, the remote chainsaw, and getting off certain maps. Especially Tyro Station and Clocktower. Not during real matches though. Just dicking about with friends.

Well I'm still bitter at Valve for Half Life being cancelled on the Dreamcast a few weeks before launch, so I'm going to hold an even longer grudge against Ubisoft for this.
