  1. 11GB for Puppeteer?!?
  2. My feelings are similar. Already have Nintendo Land, NSMBU, Pikmin 3, WW. Was interested in Game and Wario but it got panned, not interested in Mario and Sonic, Wii Party U. Girlfriend has Sonic Lost World on 3DS and I don't really like it, and I've played the demos of Monster Hunter 3 and Wonderful 101 and didn't really like them. If I were you, I'd give Pikmin 3 a go, but if you've played and disliked the previous games (how could you! ) then maybe not. For me, I may end up giving Wonderful 101 a try - it seems the lesser of all evils, and given time I may be able to get into it/figure out what the hell is going on. Can't complain about a free game though
  3. Luigi is Keyser Soze.
  4. Do we really need 3 threads for this game? I know it'll be awesome and all, but...

  6. Shits the bed.
  7. Gutted. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-27224995
  8. Nailed it!
  9. Maybe they'd have them to weigh it down and stop it floating away...?
  10. A brick would though. I could build a very small wall
  11. Looks the same as all the other "all you can do is run and hide" type of games. I hate those games because all I'm ever thinking is "if that were me, I'd be grabbing that pipe/brick/stick for at least a little bit of protection" Pass.
  12. How did you accidentally smash your Wii U pad?
  13. Following on from the "Easy Mode" thread, how often do you rage at your games? Do you quit in frustration, smash the controller, throw the disc or just simmer away until you explode, unable to let the game win? I must admit, I'm normally quite placid in most areas of life, but there's something about certain games that make me fly off the handle. I'm nowhere near as bad as I used to be (a thrown controller tends to go into the soft couch rather than the hard floor nowadays) but there's still something oddly satisfying in smashing a controller (which I've not done for years) even though you feel really stupid afterwards. Two mates I know, both near 40, are absolute lunatics for it. One's 360 controller is more Sellotape than machine nowadays and the other actually put a controller through his tv and, quite proudly, owns a graveyard of various stamped on or thrown into a wall controllers. Madness! It's weird for me as well as certain games, no matter how many times I fail, have me in hysterics rather than anger. Stuff like Trials, Super Meat Boy, Hotline Miami I can fail at all day. But I remember getting a bit miffed and hurling my 3DS into the couch when I couldn't do the rather annoying Big Luigi sideways battles in Dream Team Bros. I think that was because the touch controls were unresponsive and random at times... So how about you? Do you quit when certain games piss you off, or keep going long enough to turn into a controller chewing maniac?
  14. The Great Boggly Tree...
  15. Shit. 45 is no age RIP http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27159955
  16. All Out War finale was a bit underwhelming...
  17. No adverts on my home screen (looking at you, 360...)
  18. Where the hell did that come from?? Also, I bet this guy was thinking the same...
  19. Finished this again a few years ago when Trilogy came out - really should fire up MP2 at some point as well.
  20. So did anyone watch the series (we are not septic tanks) 7 premiere?
  21. Don't know if I'm alone on this, but I hate games that use both screens to show the action, leaving an unknown space in the middle, as it were. It ruined Yoshi's Island on the DS and the bits in Dream Team Bros where you turn the DS on its side are the most frustrating part of the game. I just can't gauge what is supposed to be in the middle.
  22. I remember all the hype for this, was fairly excited to get it and then...I honestly felt like Grandpa Simpson. "I got down on the floor for this...?" I had absolutely no idea what was going on - felt like I'd aged about 30 years. All I could see was a mess of flashing colours and lights, next thing I knew I was flying off the screen and I don't even know how. I felt like what I imagine my mum did when I badgered her into watching me play the next awesome game on the Master System. I really did try to like this game, I gave it a good shot, but the final straw was when I spent all day trying to master all the special moves and then the girl I was seeing at the time came round that night and whipped my pathetic hide by just button mashing. Grrr!
  23. I was thinking that about Bran as well. It's the same with Carl in the Walking Dead. Must be a right headache for TV producers, especially if they've got long term plans for them.
