November 9 For Australia.

Games will retail for $99.95 (Nintendo and third party).

You really think that much for games? That's like £53, N64 games were expensive like that!

Part of me is saying Nintendo are going to surprise us and say on the 15th it's out next month (October).

The non-dreaming realistic part is saying end-of November, very early December!

The quite certain part is saying November 3rd.

I said November 10th due to it being just before the old PS3 launch, so Nintendo might of had a strategy to bring it out before.

Im hoping for a November 24th release though, because if it were to, I can have a legit day off school.

It's never gonna be on sale, it's a big April's fool joke.
Exactly what I thought. It'll go like this:

The confence begins:

Iwata: Hello radies and gentremen, I am Iwata, and today, we shall leveare our leverution, the Wii.... HAHAHA!

*Iwata puts on a jesters hat*

Iwata: IT WAS ALL A JOKE! AHAHHAHAHAA! HAVE SOME FISH FOOD! HAHAHAA!

*Two minutes later, Nintendo fans walk out with Iwata's head on a stick.*

Nov 24th or Dec 10th.

£130 if one wiimote is included with no wii sports.

£150 with 2 wiimotes and wii sports.

I almost entirely agree except I reckon it'll be just before the PS3's release in Japan and North America, and in Europe/Australasia it'll be around Nov 20th.

I reckon October 27th for Europe with a £139.99 pricetag.

My reasoning? Being as the PS3 was originaly going to be launched on 17/11, Nintendo would have benefited from a slight head start, hence October. I really doubt that the PS3 delay would change the Wii's release date either, so there'd be no deviations.

Want to check the cross rates? The context was in Australian dollars. $100 of which is equivalent to 40 pounds.

Im not guessing a date but I really doubt it will be Nov 17th as thats when Sony were going to launch the PS3 over here so I doubt Nintendo would be launching on the same day. If they do then I imagine they have shuffled the date since Sonys announcement.

Thing is, it could be 17th to catch the stupid sony gamers who come in for a new console on the 17th, the only new console is the Wii, they buy the wii.

also people could just decide, they'd planned for a new console they ARE getting a new console on the 17th.

although it works the same if the Wii is released before the 17th as well.
