Calza Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Yeah, it wasn't the greatest of games but I thought it was fun. I'll still get the next one just to play it. What else would you do with games when you buy them?
S.C.G Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Video on IGN showing the install games to HDD feature... http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/dor/articles/924651/installing-your-games-video/videos/xbox_exp_noisetest_102908.html;jsessionid=1jdelxbse3ycd Looks good, gonna keep about 15 - 20gb HDD space on my HDD to store the most recent games I'm playing methinks, it will be a lot better when developers will most likely be able to implement quicker load times by hopefully optimising new games when you install them, but in the meantime at least it will make things quieter.
Gio001 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 My 360 is too far from my router & computer, is there a cheaper way of making it wireless tha buying the rip-off xbox wireless network adapter.. ie... will a usb dongle work or can i link it to my wireless laptop??? Any advise appreciated
gaggle64 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 You can link it to your laptop, just switch internet connection sharing on.
Gio001 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 You can link it to your laptop, just switch internet connection sharing on. thank you, will try it later on, Cheers

Mundi Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 http://www.gametrailers.com/player/42312.html They must be taking the piss with the voice acting in this game, it sounds like everyone is voiced by the same guy. If it isn´t intentional I´ll eat my hat
Goron_3 Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 According to Kotaku Super Street Fighter II HD turbo remix is coming out this month :D:D But playing it with the 360's d-pad...

spirited away Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Anyone else like the look of "Boku"? http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2008/11/03/watch-out-little-big-planet-here-comes-microsofts-boku/
Guest Stefkov Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 What else would you do with games when you buy them? Masturbate furiously over them.
Tales Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 It seems my gamercard is corrupted(error code 80169d94). It prevents me from buying points and membership upgrades. Think customer service will help me? I have heard they aren't very helpful at times. I really hope I can get this sorted out quickly. I want to buy the new packs for Civilization and they will dissapear when new ones shows up. I'll call on monday see what happens.
BeerMonkey Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 THREE RED LIGHTS AGAIN!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR THIRD TIME NOW!!! glad this happened AFTER fallout3 thou as if it happened just before i would have thrown the 360 out my window
spirited away Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Anyone know if I can trade in games at either Game or Gamestation, for a full refund - if they're sealed?
Triple_C Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Anyone know if I can trade in games at either Game or Gamestation, for a full refund - if they're sealed? If you bought the game in GAME then, if it's within 28 days of purchase, you can return it for the full price. But otherwise, I doubt it. Why would they? They wouldn't make money if they did that, and after all, they're a business.
Shorty Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Anyone know if I can trade in games at either Game or Gamestation, for a full refund - if they're sealed? If a game is fairly recently released, I would say sell it on ebay... you can get pretty much RRP for a new game sealed. I occasionally see games go for more on ebay than they cost on game/play etc
Ganepark32 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 If you bought the game at either Game or Gamestation and have a receipt then yes you can trade in for full refund. However, you NEED a receipt. Without it, it's a big no-no, even if it's sealed.
Ashley Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 (unless you go through the faffy credit/debit card statement route)
Hero-of-Time Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Looks like im getting CoD:WaW afterall. I went to cancel my preorder yesterday but GAME had already started the process. Seeing as I cant be bothered to send it back and I would have got it eventually I will just keep it. It will have to wait until I have had my fill of Banjo though
Dante Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Epic Games' President Mike Capps has suggested the idea that game developers, in order to curb the sales of secondhand games, start making the endings of games downloadable content: The secondary market is a huge issue in the United States. Our primary retailer makes the majority of its money off of secondary sales, and so you’re starting to see games taking proactive steps toward that by… if you buy the retail version you get the unlock code. I’ve talked to some developers who are saying ‘If you want to fight the final boss you go online and pay USD 20, but if you bought the retail version you got it for free’. We don’t make any money when someone rents it, and we don’t make any money when someone buys it used - way more than twice as many people played Gears than bought it. www.videogaming247.com
Gizmo Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 So those without internet connections don't get to finish games?
Gio001 Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 And the majority of people who trade in games are people who buy new games, they will buy less games & be a bit more choosy when buying. Also the people who buy 2nd hand games do so for a reason, ok they may be forced to buy new but they won't buy many and as Gizmo said you will need an internet connection & even if you have one, if the servers or connection is down you can't play!!!
