Goron_3 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 This is great and a fantastic way of sorting out the poor software attach ratio that plagues the 3DS. My one question is whether I could get 2 free games if I buy a copy of Smash AND Pokemon? Like, would I get a free game for each?
Hero-of-Time Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Gotta clear that stock before the new models arrive. Still, nice offer all the same. I just fail to see why you would buy a 3DS at the moment when a new model was announced.
Dcubed Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Sweet! Another offer to abuse the hell out of! This is great and a fantastic way of sorting out the poor software attach ratio that plagues the 3DS. My one question is whether I could get 2 free games if I buy a copy of Smash AND Pokemon? Like, would I get a free game for each? You could... if you had two un-used 3DS/3DSXL/2DS Club Nintendo codes and a second Club Nintendo account...
Falcon_BlizZACK Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Zelda for me... Sadly, my 3DS ownership tends to only last for as long as Im playing Pokemon - Didnt get into Zelda ALBW in time, so this Brawl and Pokemon should have me covered for winter.
Happenstance Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 This stuff is great for the new customers but I do think Nintendo should do more stuff like this for current people who have already got the hardware.

That's what I was hoping for. Loved it when they had that offer of buying 3 3DS games and then getting one free. We need to add a new console though? Yeah, sadly.
RedShell Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Don't think I ever registered my XL (it's in my pile of Club Nintendo PIN codes ) but I take it this has to be a 3DS system bought recently to qualify.

Nintendo will have no idea when your XL was sold. It could have been sitting on a shelf for months.

Hero-of-Time Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 In that case... Get Kirby if you haven't got it yet!
RedShell Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Get Kirby if you haven't got it yet! That's the plan.
Pestneb Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 This is great and a fantastic way of sorting out the poor software attach ratio that plagues the 3DS. My one question is whether I could get 2 free games if I buy a copy of Smash AND Pokemon? Like, would I get a free game for each? If you register 2 systems, I presume yes. I haven't officially registered my 3ds yet, although I have purchased games using my NNID.. wonder if I can get the free game...
MindFreak Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 If you've already registrered a 3DS, will you still be able to get the game?
Goron_3 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 If you've already registrered a 3DS, will you still be able to get the game? It doesn't look like it. I don't know if my 3DS is registered tbh. I know my Wii U is from the last giveaway and I know that my 3DS and Wii U have a linked NNID but I don't think I've ever registered it. Hmm. So confused
MindFreak Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Damn. Would totally choose Yoshi if it were possible. But actually, I don't know if my 3DS is registrered or not.
Guy Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I am so digging out the packaging for my original 3DS, redeeming those stars and getting me some Triple Deluxe.
Jonnas Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 ... Sounds like I should consider buying an unused 3DS, then.
Dcubed Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 That's the plan. Good man! That game is incredible! (only just started it last week myself) It's even better than I was hoping it would be! A worth follow up to Kirby Adventure Wii/Kirby Returns to Dreamland so far for sure, even without the co-op.
Hero-of-Time Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 That's the plan. I am so digging out the packaging for my original 3DS, redeeming those stars and getting me some Triple Deluxe. This pleases me. Easily one of the best games on the 3DS for me. Good man! That game is incredible! (only just started it last week myself) Was that because I mentioned it to you on Miiverse recently or is it purely coincidental?
Ronnie Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Triple Deluxe was my first Kirby game and I absolutely loved it. Brilliant fun. Yoshi's New Island though (first Yoshi game) was a chore to finish. A rare misstep on the 3DS.
Dcubed Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Was that because I mentioned it to you on Miiverse recently or is it purely coincidental? Oh no, just pure coincidence. It was always on my list as the first game I play in September For what it's worth, I start Cave Story 3DS tomorrow (Beaten it on Wii and DSi, but I'm looking forward to checking out the new content in this version - like Wind Fortress )
V. Amoleo Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 (edited) Does this have to be the first 3DS registered? Or can it be on account with one already registered? Can you then register another 3DS (can have two of each, right?) on the same account with another game to claim another freebie? Edit: Actually reading the terms shows me that it's one per account. But it hasn't clarified if it can be the registering of a second 3DS. Edited September 11, 2014 by V. Amoleo
