Posted July 31, 2013 Get those preorders in! Retail sources have confirmed to CVG that PS4 pre-orders must be placed "before next week" in order to guarantee a system on launch date. That effectively gives consumers an August 5 deadline. Pre-orders can still be placed thereafter, but may not result in a system on the day of release, as demand is expected to significantly outstrip supply. Posted July 31, 2013 I pre-order mine from ShopTo during the conference, about 30 seconds after they announced the price. I'll be getting Killzone and Assassin's Creed 4. I am getting a PS4 but still havent preordered mine - I'm getting a new kitchen fitted and I reckon all in it's gonna be about £6000 so money is gonna be tight. Posted August 1, 2013 Cant wait for the PS4 and its faster/better downloads. Took ages to download the 4 gigs for Most Wanted but I could at least do it while I was playing Ni No Kuni. Posted August 2, 2013 I think I'll wait until inFamous, or if FFXV is relatively close, until then. Since I will be buying Watch Dog for PS3 there's no reason for me to buy a next gen console for now. Although if it does end up at 3500 local money, I might buy it if is possible to just step in and say "do you have a PS4 in stock?". But preorder, no.
