Aneres11 Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 Picked up a Pro PS4 today. Been toying with the idea for a while so got it with Detroit to play through as it looks up my street. Pleasant surprise that you can redownload Plus games you've previously owned. Until Dawn here I come. Again! 1

The sun is on the room my consoles are in at the moment so I booted it up and could hardly see anything so I'll wait til later and then have a good go. It was my own fault really, not really cleaned it over the last couple of years (other than running a hoover along the vents) and it ended up getting games piled either side of it..... So in this heat and no air flow.... Its fitting really, it was the Darth Vader one, and now his head is burnt and mishaped lmao 2

A great all-round wireless headset really. 1

When I'm playing a single player game, I've got the Sennheiser HD206 pair, which only cost me £30. I actually bought/use it for my guitar for its primary purpose, but I also use it to game on the PS4. It's a really comfy pair, but it doesn't have a microphone, since I didn't actually buy it entirely for gaming purposes. If I was going to get a proper headset, I'd go for the Sony headset that @Sheikah mentioned. Seems to be well-liked by many and the feedback seems to be good. The fact that it's wireless too is a bonus. I imagine I'll get it at some point.

Shorty Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Hard to beat the Sony Wireless Stereo Headset 2.0 IMO. It's not that cheap though and I've seen QC might not be great on the newer model without the hinge (the hinge can snap though so avoid those anyway). Just get a replacement if people say your mic is no good. 1
Happenstance Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 My Sony headset stopped working after about a year but while it did work it was the best I've used. The fact that it mixed its own audio for gameplay and voice was really helpful.
Ganepark32 Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 I'd forgotten about this as I didn't think it was coming so soon but very happy to see that it's only a few weeks away, and is up for pre-order on the PS Store already with a discount. Can't wait to get stuck in to it as the first game was fantastic, one of my favourite indie and metroidvania games so just hoping for more of the same here and that looks the case from the trailer.
