I can't do anything. Wanted to buy Jamestown+. No luck.

Can't log in, can't play online, can't access the shop.

For a service that a lot of gamers pay for, this should not happen.

Apparently this is the third weekend in a row that this has happened...

Unlucky, brah. I've just tried (for you ) and I got on to the shop as normal. Logged in and everything. Not sure what's up then.

Looks like it's working for some. Thankfully for me too now. Others aren't so lucky if you read through Twitter and Reddit.

Does it play DVD? :p I dont event know.

Blu Rays are mostly ok to watch the region system is quite different and many movies are region neutral or something. I cant recall ever having this problem. Check before you buy, reviews will tell you.

Yes it does. All blu ray players I've owned play DVD's as well.

Look like Digimon Cyber Sleuth will come to US/European in 2016 and it will be digital-only release on both PS4/PSvita.

The PS4 is getting a retail release, at least in the US. I'm not sure about about Europe, though.

Very happy this is heading to the west. I had my eye on it for a while now and import impressions from Gaf are mostly positive ( easy but very fun ).

Is everyone else's friends list borked on the PS4? The number it dishes out compared to the number people who are actually online doesn't match up. Been like this for a couple of days now.

I played Chase the Sun for a couple of hours with friends, taking turns to set high-scores and complete challenges. Nothing that remarkable about the game but it did make me yearn for a new WipEout. The minimalist, ultra-sharp visuals were really striking and even trippy in some levels, the hardware is crying out for StudioLiverpool to reform.

Hey guys, we're getting a PS4 at the office and we want to connect it to our Playseat. Before there was a PS3 connected to it.

So, two questions:

1. what do you guys think is the best current racegame available for the machine and why do you think that?

2. if the Playseat could be connected to a PS3 there should be no reason it can't be connected to the PS4, right?

Thanks in advance! :)

You're asking the wrong questions. The right question is "why haven't we hired Ashley?"

Why answer this question if you clearly don't have a clue what your talking about?

Anyway if you buy UK blurays which all have BBFC certification they will 100% play on your UK PS4.

Project Cars is probably the best racing game.

Driveclub is subjective but it has a plus edition now. So you can judge via that. GT7 is a long wait as GT6 is still the focus.

Driveclub is my fave racing game of all time, I'd recommend getting the season pass for a shit ton of content!

Seconded, in terms of content offered for the price of the season pass, it is second to none. So much content for such a small price.

Now, you can get the base game and the season pass for the price the base game was at launch. Can't fault that.

Obviously UK based blu ray will play but the point is most imported stuff will also work. IE anime etc. as its not as restricted as DVD were. We dont have big websites and forum topics about movie region locking anymore.

This should clear things up

Blu-ray Region Coding

Blu-ray has 3 different regions, which are different to that of DVDs. While DVDs use region numbering, Blu-rays use region lettering - the letters A, B and C represent the 3 regions of Blu-ray;

Region A consists of North American, Central America, South America, East Asia (except for China) and South East Asia.

Region B is Europe, Africa, Middle East, New Zealand, and of course, Australia.

Region C is for everywhere else, but mainly China, Russian and India.

As with DVDs, you can find the region coding information on the back of the movie cover. When a title is Region Free you should see a combination of all 3 regional icons.

Note: that not all Blu-ray movies are region coded. Movies from Warner Brothers, and upcoming releases from Paramount and Universal will most likely all be region-free. Disney and Sony's catalogue title releases are usually region-free as well, and only their new movie releases are region coded. All Fox Blu-ray titles are region coded, even catalogue titles.

If you have any questions relating to Blu-ray's regional coding please feel free to visit us http://www.allaboutbluray.co.uk

Anyway,back to games : peace:

Nice pic. :awesome:

What you playing first?

Witcher 3 at the moment, as it's pretty much the only game I have. @Happenstance gave me a copy of Arkham Knight, but it's digital and still downloading. Got the free PS+ games too, so I'll have to play MGS at some point.

Tempted to pick up God of War 3 Remastered next week. I'm off work for 2 weeks a few days later so it'd be nice to have some games to play (I do have a massive backlog of course but its so hard to get motivated to play them!)

Hoping to have a go on Rocket League this weekend as from the bits I saw in the PS+ video, it didn't look all that exciting but hopefully once sitting down to play it, it'll turn out better than that small glimpse.

Did decide to take advantage of the Summer of Digital sale that's going on at the moment. 4 weeks of discounts, with the first week ending tonight. I ended up picking up Limbo, Child of Light, Grim Fandango and the Trine: Complete Bundle all for £20.27 :yay: So 5 games for about a fiver, I'd say that's pretty good going.

Interested to see what comes up tomorrow for the second week but at the same time, I'm dreading what this might do to my wallet.

Almost picked up Pneuma: Breath of Life but with reviews being middling and the price being a little higher than I was wanting (I was hoping there'd be a PS+ discount on it like some new digital titles have) think I might hang on to see if it'll drop in price. Or hold on till the Talos Principle finally rears its head on the PS4. Plenty to play in the mean time, especially with now getting a free upgrade of Journey so :yay:

Why isn't everyone talking about Rocket League?

Anyone want to play online? We could get a team going.

Isn't it currently beset with problems when trying to play online, or have they been resolved?
